New brushes test ๐ชโจ
I totally did not forgot to post this
I promised myself my first 18+ content would be about YaH, I feel like I've accomplished something in my life.
(I'm going to hell /silly)
I have this old traditional drawings of Pierrot with me, so...
My MC is probably introducing Pierrot to his dad, oh yeah
We love you Pierrot
My birthday was March 17th, but better late than never! I finally made this little drawing of Pierrot because I adore him. He's so sweet that if we could, both my MC and I would be spoiling him rotten๐โจ
Ok, I am going to say this...
Pierrot and Harlequin have good taste, becauseโฆ
HOW IS IT THAT ALL THE MCS I SEE ARE SO BEAUTIFULL AND HANDSOME? My God! All the MCs I see are so good that I'm often speechless ngl. I needed to say that, bye.
It's frustrating for those of us who are artists/writers to work our asses off, only to see people who use Ai who amass huge followings and putting in zero effort.
I've seen so many creators way more deserving of that love.
It's depressing.
It's real, it's sad to think that these people are so empty inside that they don't value creation. They devalue creativity, which is an inherent part of being human. In a way, I see this as a dehumanization, a disregard for artistic talent.
Iโll be honest, the moment I saw day 2 I adored it due to the amazing Easter eggs and the interesting lore of it, and while at first i was shocked and tbf (to be frank) a tiny bit upset (probably bc my mind was pretty shocked-) I then saw your post and got a slight mind refresher, so thank you for making this post to atleast let some people get a reminder.
(..i was kinda nervous while writing this ask as you can tell lol- but anyways Hope you have a good day!)
First of all, I also wish you a good day ๐
And yes, I understand that it might shock some people, especially those who aren't Harlequin fans lol
Yeeep, 100%
What gets me about those instances is also how often the people seem to completely miss the point of even just having characters being written in a certain way. They are presented with a character, and then they get offended by the literal character trait that's vital to the story telling, is being portrayed as the story is being told.
But also just seeing people like "OMG why did the Yandere love turn out to be obsessive and creepy?" is such a headache. I mean... Yandere definition: (chiefly Japanese fiction) A character, usually a girl, who has an obsessive and possessive side in regards to their crush, ready to use violent (if not murderous) means to maintain an exclusive bond. Yeah wonder why the yandere turned out to act like a... *looks at notes* yandere.
There's this "discourse" in the online recipe space which neatly parallels this weird behavior from people.
It's about people finding and commenting on recipes they're fundamentally averse to bc of their own issues with ingredients, restrictions, etc, and then making demands or completely outlandish commentary underneath the recipe pages.
The one that gets memed on a lot is the "What if I don't like beans?" Under a recipe for a bean stew recipe, that's like 90% beans. Instead of finding a recipe that actually fits their tastes. They instead seemed to almost petulantly whine under the recipe demanding the author justify themselves.
It just feels like some really weird form of learned incompetence and helplessness, paired with some obnoxious entitlement and "cater to meeeee!"
The TFC discourse, and even just any game with heavy theme discourse seems to fall right into the exact same category of "I don't like anything about this! Do something about it!"
It'd be so much funnier if the regular fans, and the creators of these games, recipes, didn't have to deal with that mess though.
I couldn't agree moreโฆ
How awful, a yandere acting like a yandere, a pervert acting like a pervertโฆ How will they react to the Jester that clearly hates humans actually hates humans? /silly
Twitter the ever blubbering cesspool.
Yandere games are probably some of the most honest games when it comes to "Hey there'll be some gnarly stuff in here, which IRL would actually be really NOT good. But this is a game, so it's your choice to actually click and play. If you don't want that, don't play. Seriously!"
and people still decide to play, and then they go belly-up when the literally in your face warning comes into action.
Honestly, staying on Twitter is best as long as they don't message the creators with their nonsense, but the thing is, sometimes they move from Twitter to Tumblr to whine about things that are already mentioned in the game's warnings.
And frankly, it's annoying that people forget the fine line between reality and fantasy, just as it's annoying that they try to irritate creators to mold characters to be "morally correct" when the premise of a visual novel is not to be morally incorrect.
There are many yandere visual novels that are more "appropriate" for mainstream audiences, so that's why I always maintain that if you don't like a visual novel, just don't play it.
For example, this issue of the character not being "morally correct" made me lose interest in one of the visual novels I used to be interested in, Lurking for Love (ignoring the creator's issues, for one thing). It was annoying that people complained about Jacob having a love interest before the main character or that he was a pervert/creep.
Whenโฆ ohโฆ IT WAS MENTIONED IN THE GAME.
Like, just shut up, you don't like it? DON'T PLAY.
Your destructive and totally unnecessary opinion is not needed.
Ok, I am going to call out people in this...
Look, I've read some comments in social media (twitter, and yes, I am going to post it here too) that annoyed me with some people. First of all, I don't mean to offend anyone with this post (if you get offended anyways, that is your problem).
But I find it incredibly annoying/hypocritical that people are angry/upset with Harlequin (I'm not a simp) because he tends to cross the line.
Especially in the route where YOU go to the tent with him and he "forces" you, let me tell you, you can't say you didn't know what he was going to try to do.
And the route where you're in Pierrot's tent and he bites you, I understand that it can trigger you.
But did you even read the warnings? It says, "This game is recommended for ages 18+. The yandere theme includes dark elements, strong language, and sensitive graphic content."
Besides, I see a lot of people complaining about Harlequin but not about Pierrot's creepy attitude (I'm a Pierrot simp). Maybe he's not as direct as Harlequin, but he's not far off.
And before anyone comes at me with "Oh, it gets romanticized" no, hell no, none of this is romanticized. You'd have to be out of your mind to believe this is actually romantic in real life. It's a visual novel for you to enjoy and have fun with dark content.
If this content bothers you, just don't play it. There is a LOT of visual novels with less sensitive graphic content to play. See? is simple. And I hope no one bothers Neko with this. ๐๐ค๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐๐ฉ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐จ ๐ ๐๐ข ๐ค๐ช๐ฉ โงโห๐ฆโนโก
Proud to have created her โจ
What I love most is that her entire design has an explanation of why she has that design. I am proud of myself today.
Mother and daughterโฆ beating up their loved ones <3
But seriously, there's a detail: Junia's mother was the target of a killer who eventually became obsessed with her and fell in love (ignoring his initial motive). Basically, at one point she felt somewhat forced to marry that man because she feared he would hurt himself or someone else, but over time she began to love him. (Stockholm or not, she loved him)
As for Junia and Adamโฆ well, we have a beautiful journey ahead to discover what will happen to those two hehe
Silly comic with symbolism for a fanfic I am writting <3
I forgot to post this lol
A monster OC (a fanon member of the circus) I made for fun called Seer.
She's basically a fortune teller; people pay extra to go to her tent, where she predicts the future that interests or best suits her. (She operates on the butterfly theory)
I loved the chapter not gonna lie, is like, every SINGLE chapter gets better and better.
Was worth it the whole wait hehe
