Shipping Wars are lame

Shipping wars are a huge thing in fandom that I’ve never really understood. The degree to which you do or don’t want a pairing to be canon does not increase it’s chances of being so. There’s a massive amount of content for every pairing you can think of, so if you’re enjoying your faves, let someone else enjoy theirs. It’s all fantasy, folks. 

For example, don’t hurt each other over whether or not Kylo gets with Rey or Hux, and appreciate the content and happiness people feel in pursuing the expansion of their favourite pairings. Fun and excitement is what we’re here for and I think that’s what we should foster, instead of unnecessary hatred.

what she means: how did jj win bronze over otabek? it makes no sense, jj's sp was a shitshow and otabek finished with an almost-26 point lead over him. then during the fs, jj made a few mistakes and it should've been no match to otabek's flawless performance. even with all the quads jj had over otabek, he should've lost both execution and presentation points that otabek wouldn't have lost because his skating didn't have major mistakes. i just don't get how jj won over otabek by 7 whole points. also--
