faultedheart:
LAYLA
Listening to Layla made Logan beyond happy. He loved everything about her, loved how much she was putting into their new home and he loved the fact he got to wake up to her every morning, and actually got to spend time with her. They had been through far too much together and at this point, Logan was just relieved they made it this far.
He shook his head fondly at her words, moving to sit beside her properly and flicking through the samples, stopping at one he liked and signing to Layla. “I like that one,” he said, grinning at her. “It’s simple enough so we can decorate the rest of the house how he want without any kinds of colours to clash.”
Logan sat back a little, regarding the blonde and unable to stop himself from smiling at her, signing again. “And if you really want to hang some of my artwork up, we can. I’m just glad I get to live with you, Layla.”
This was a life that she hadn’t thought that she would have. Sitting in an apartment with the guy she’d fallen in love with while at Belgrave was the dream, and moving into their little house together was going to becoming a reality, or it would be as soon as they could decide on how they wanted to decorate everything. It was all going to plan, in her eyes. They had each other, and they were happy.
“I agree, and I think your vote counts for me since you have the artistic streak in you.” She said with a grin, knowing that if she was ever let loose with some paint and a canvas then all hell would break loose. She didn’t have an artistic bone in her body – she would be able to manage painting a wall one colour in their house though.
“Our house is going to be perfect. At least by our standards.” She said with a grin. “Look at me getting all soppy, anyone would think I was looking forward to living with you in a proper grown-up house.” She laughed, knowing that they had plenty to look forward to in the future.
