Hey Man // Spacemen 3
Jawbreaker // Chesterfield King
I took my car and drove it down the hill by your house I drove so fast The wind, it couldn’t cool me down So I turned it around and came back up You were waiting on your step Steam showing off your breath And water in your eyes We pulled each other into one Parkas clinging on the lawn and kissed right there
Go back to those gold soundz And keep my advent to your self Because it’s nothing I don’t like Is it a crisis or a boring change?
still we sing with our heroes, 33 rounds per minute we’re never going home until the sun says we’re finished and i’ll love you forever if I ever love at all wild hearts, blue jeans & white t-shirts
Vertigo (1958) directed by Alfred Hitchcock
Morning Buzz: June 20 2013
All the discussion of Jawbreaker this week has put me in a major any-Blake-Schwarzenbach-projects mood, so I have found myself lingering around Jets To Brazil for the past several days. “You’re The One I Want” is simple and powerful and the perfect example of what I want to jam this morning. So pour yourself a cup, sit back, and enjoy! - Amanda
Skywave
Skywave were an American shoegaze band in the tradition of The Jesus And Mary Chain, blending breezy melodies with buzzsaw guitars and feedback-laden sounds. They gathered a cult following around the turn of the milennium that still exists today, helped by the (partial) reincarnation in the form of A Place To Bury Strangers.
