So the long and short is that my good ol’ desktop computer has finally done as Apple products tend to do and died randomly without warning.

THE BAD NEWS; Every single sketch, doodle, drawing, or anything I’ve ever done digitally is just, gone. We spent around three hours going through the barely functional recovery interface trying to pull things and it’s just, gone. This sadly also includes the entirety of the Child of a Lazuli Reboot’s first comic, the first act of which was very close to done, my Son of Lazuli Contest Submission, which was done, and many other SU related things are now null and void.

THE GOOD NEWS; We’re still doing Child of a Lazuli! I fortunately still have my first laptop, which despite needing extensive life support to function, functions, albeit poorly. If nothing else, it’ll last until I can afford to put together a new computer, built by a reputable source.

Because the first major comic’s been erased but I’m still raring to get some content out, I’ll be doing Asks and Answers for Child of a Lazuli. Send them in, even if they’re weird!

TL;DR; my computer died today, but it’s fine (mostly)

Fusion Time!

Please give a warm welcome to Fordite, a fusion between COAL’s own River and @cluster-steven-au​ Steven! Perpetually goofy, bouncy, and with unrivalled skills in juggling and making spaghetti*

Design wise, one may notice the odd orb floating between his eye sockets. Picture it like Duskull or Dusknoir’s eye from Pokemon, where his head appears hollow while it hovers inside. This orb or eye, along with each of the gems/gem shards on Fordite’s body, will maintain the colour representing whichever individual is currently fronting, with each different iteration of the fusion showcasing a certain aspect of personality from each of the components!

Not an episode, but some general sketch art of our main genderfluid disaster child, partly because of a question I received in relation to River’s weight. His body type itself is like a midpoint between Child and Teenage Steven, in both design and direct height, with a few differences here and there (mainly his hips being wider than his canon counterpart).

Episode Twelve: Hello There

Because what’s spray painting a wall without doing your favourite thing in the meantime?

No, I don’t know what happened to the upload schedule. I woke up one morning and it had broken out the window. It’s microchipped, so it might come back. Also, sorry about the sudden style change, I’m trying to find ways to make the art style more distinct. Thank you for your continued support/toleration of my insanity.
