Oh no, now I feel obligated to talk about this. Goshdarn it. Because I love it too. In a way it really does reflect the album. In two different ways, for me personally.

There’s the first way in which there’s so much detail and adverse colours compacted in only like 60% of the main picture (meaning not including the separated section with the band’s name and the album title). There’s a lot of their songs that do that themselves with having a sorta of calm spacy-ness and then also containing a section where things are pretty intense and vibrant (like the ending sections of Metropolis Flow and Borderline Bordello, for example).

But another way to look at it is how the character is literally reaching out of that intense and busy-looking sphere and trying to get at that expanse of space. Reality sucks and sometimes you have to forget that you exist in it. This band is a sure-fire way of forgetting about the sucky-ness even if for a short while.

There’s soooo much I love about this band and all it has done.

Such a passionated fan! I love your vision about the album art, so deep. I really thought i wouldnt like the music (I'm a die hard metalhead, but not a closed minded one) the album art was the thing that convinced me firstly. I ended loving MCC.

Also, as a designer I can tell it is soooo well executed. You have a very fine eye and taste!
