Ok so..... once when I was around 9-10 I watched with my cousins a cartoon named "Kaeloo", a bunch of childish (most of them) animals that play games like dodgeball or hopscotch. We were watching late at night like 10pm or 11pm because we were waiting for my dad to pick me up.

One of the episode was called "what if we play with the paranormal" and Kaeloo the frog said multiple time this sentence (translated) : "Spirit are you here ? If you're here, answer me !". We were children so we repeated that sentence each time. When my father came up and brought me home. I went to bed but my father left home because he wanted to see some friends. He said good night, lock the door and then I closed my eyes. I was in my bed, the windows had bars so no one could enter from there and I was home alone late at night. My eyes were closed but something lift me up ! I thought it was my dad, but my room was near the entrance and I didn't heard the door open, nor get unlocked. I was lifted from my bed, moved through the hallway while in the air and put into my father's bed.

I was totally awake, my bed had a ladder so I would have to go from the other side of my bed to get down, but I wasn't; I was laying the whole time, legs in the air, just to change bed. The day after my dad told me he found me in his bed and didn't wake me up. So yeah, from that day I never watched this episode of Kaeloo ever again, I'm still afraid 10 years later.

I just remembered that white guy who was convinced that a french recipe was from Japan.

So the recipe is called "Brochette Boeuf-Fromage" or Beef and Cheese skewers. As a Vietnamese (like I'm technically French but both my parents are vietnamese) I know that cheese is not a big deal in asia.

And that guy had the audacity to tell me that I'm wrong and that this recipe, that is for sure FRENCH was invented by the japanese for the lunar new year. And his only source to contradict me, WAS A F*CKING FRENCH RECIPE SITE.

By the way, I see how this guy eats asian food, it's as spiceless as my love life.

So..... An argument broke out in the "friends" group. I was told to not say a word but seeing the guy I was agreeing with win was so satisfying. It was fun, so I made a drawing of the situation.

Why did C&A shut down?

Because of Caine

My theory it's that "Abel" or the Blue AI was the thing that could maintain C&A alive because it was functional

But when Caine "ate" it well.... C&A has used a lot of resources in it and they have nothing good to present leading to the shutdown of the company

But that's just a theory and a lot of speculation at that point so take it with a pinch of salt. I would be glad to hear any criticism about what can be wrong in what I said :)

Not so friendly reminder that the only way to get better at reading and expand your vocabulary is to read more and read from different authors/genres/skill levels.

It is insane to demand authors dumb down their books because words with more than three syllables are too difficult for you.

Scratch that! Apparently “Scrying” is too big of a word for some of these booktok people.

You know what you do when you come across a word you do not know? You look it up. You don’t harass the author demanding them to dumb down their books for you.

I’m currently reading The Dispossessed by Ursula Le Guin (very good book I highly recommend) and the very first passage in this book is “There was a wall. It did not look important. It was built of uncut rocks roughly mortared;”

Now I had no idea what “mortared” meant. So did I contact the author to complain? Did I give the book a bad review and blast it on social media? No! I used basic context clues to assume the word probably referred to how the bricks were held together because that’s what the passage was about. And then I looked up the word and how it was pronounced and carried on reading.

People. Read more. Please.

Today I learned by eating an ice cream and drinking a sweet drink that you can oversaturate your taste bud and you if you eat/drink something less sweet for example it will be tasteless or you won't feel (in this case) the sweetness :)

So yeah, the guy wasn't even into guys and "flirted" with me because he felt lonely. And yes he really said that he could r- me but wouldn't when I rejected him.
