Rahab chose the wrong pirate to possess, Avery is very much NOT the intimidating being he thought they were teehee

Some additionally context to explain MJ’s rather inappropriate reaction to a primordial sea beast possessing her younger sibling because I just realized no one else hear’s their voices like I do…

Avery has a very thick Icelandic accent and mostly uses maritime jargon when speaking (Think 17th century “Avast ye matey” classic pirate talk).

And Rahab acts like he just walked out of a Shakespeare play speaking perfect, well articulated old English with an extremely thick Hebrew accent to match.

The three words I use to describe Rahab are Bombastic, Pedantic, and Bravado. Three things Avery is not. So MJ just cannot take this situation seriously AT ALL (If my brother got possessed by a well read spirit I would be more amused than concerned as well tbh)

Im using artfight this year to practice and experiment with drawing backgrounds cause I dont really draw those and I dont know how to make the bg match the styles of the characters...

Been sitting on this post for a few weeks now…

It’s almost impossible to find a queer space I feel safe in. Not welcomed. Safe.

On one hand I’m not considered “queer enough” as an aroace person. I was actually kicked out of my high school QsA club (that I founded) after I came out as aroace.

Then on the other hand 90% of queer spaces in my town want me dead because I’m Jewish. And if they don’t want me dead they want me to lay down with a boot on my neck while they talk about how my people should be dead.
