following the other’s instructions, jeanie headed out of the door, taking a deep inhale as soon as she came in contact with the outside air. it was much more refreshing, much…cleaner than it had been only a matter of a few minutes ago. giving a silent nod at the girl’s question, thinking a moment later it was probably more so rhetorical, her face lit up with the next one asked. “of course! i’d have to be a crazy person not to agree to that,” the girl joked. not to mention she didn’t want to trust anything at the party since the only thing she could find was the brownies. “ah yes, thank you, for helping me out of there, somi. i guess i didn’t have confidence to walk out by myself?” she gave a slight grimace to the admission before she continued. “but i’m jeanie, it’s nice to meet you. do you go here by chance?” she wondered as she pointed back to the dorms.
it definitely helped to come out into the open air. the music had been much too loud and the place too crowded for somi’s liking - she had never enjoyed college parties to begin with, but usually went for the social bit anyway. the problem with students was that they often got drunk too fast and it wasn’t much fun talking to people who could barely stand on their own feet 10 minutes into the event. somi smiled to the other - jeanie - as they continued to walk down the street, the young girl headed to a vendor just down the street she knew had good chicken. by now she had probably tried all the food seoul had to offer. «i do,» she chirped happily to jeanie’s question, smiling. «i don’t live at campus though. what about you?»
