Little Update

Hope everyone is well.

I know it's been a while since I posted and I just wanted to give you all a very quick update.

I finished my IV Chemotherapy in December (cutting it short by one due to toxicity in my body) and at the beginning of the year I had a single Mastectomy (without reconstruction) and a full Lymph Node removal on one side.

I got my results back this past week and the doctor said it was good news, she later went on to say it was amazing news, they only found a few single cells in the breast tissue removed, all at a distance and solo so no signs of mutation, and they found no cancer at all in my lymph nodes.

She said that this was amazing due to the fact we cut my chemo short and lowered my dose at times, plus with the type of Cancer (Triple Negative Breast Cancer, an aggressive cancer, Stage 3, large size and multiple lumps).

This means I will be having to take Chemotherapy Tablets starting soon as a fail safe, as the surgery will have removed all the cancer from my body but this is an additional method of precautionary treatment, as well as having Radiotherapy (which I would have been having anyway) before immunotherapy.

It's still a long journey for me, with more tests and treatments needed, plus with my wound I am having to monitor its healing closely (due to having a seroma and cording) and manage all the exercises, massages and pain relief to help with it so its been a very tough month, but after a few wobbles I'm feeling a bit stronger today.

Just wanted to let anyone know who might be wondering!

PERSONAL POST 🤍

Sorry I’ve been quiet on here recently!

I found out last month that I have Breast Cancer after finding a lump in May and have spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals being tested, poked and prodded while my treatment plan has been put in place.

Yesterday was the start of my Chemotherapy treatment for the next six months before surgery and more treatments. 🩷

So I might be not as active on here for a while but I am still keeping up with writing as and when I can (luckily I have bits/stories already written) and will still be dipping on here when I feel able to to pop things up and chat with you! 🤍
