Now Diane knew that King could take care of himself, but that didn’t make her any less worried about him. The Giantess was quick to reach out and grab a hold of the smaller, gentle but still firm.

“Let me look, please?”

Fairy tried to get out of grasp for a moment, but soon he gave up. He had no heart to say no to Diane, besides pain wasn’t helping him either.

“..J-just make it q-quick, okay?” King looked away slightly embarrassed. He still wanted to try act tough in front of her, but situations like that gave opposite effect. On the other side it felt nice that she was worried, still awkward though.

Diane didn’t worry about pushing him any further to comply-- at this point she already knew she had ‘won’.

She offered a smile, trying to assure him. “It’ll just take a minute, promise.” she nodded, moving to inspect the wound. She really didn’t know much about tending to injuries, but still. “We need to get something to cover it up with.” obviously, but still.
