            snow smiled sweetly at him and nodded “sure, besides, i can order some more, there is no problem” she said looking at him, now giving him a new fork “so, what do you say?” the girl asked and just a sigh escaped from her lips, maybe she saw this kid somewhere but she just didn’t know where exactly, at least not for now, but let’s see, that’s all.

“In that case, yes, I would like some. Thank you Miss,” Rowan smiled at her, eyes sparkling with childish excitement. He took the fork from her with a nod. “This is very sweet of you.” the lost boy said, remembering his manners.

her eyebrows raised at his words and she giggled a bit. sure, she held her candy near and dear to her heart but, she did share it sometimes. only with close friends and of course, little kids. “why, of course you can,” she replied, sliding her backpack off her shoulder. she opened it and held it out to him, “pick whatever you want, dude.”

Rowan beamed at her, "Really? Thanks!" His quest had been successful after all. He looked into the bag, trying to choose one out of the many options. Which to go for? All of the treats looked so sweet and sugary. “What would you recommend?”

This was getting ridiculous. Rowan had saved his rainbow duct tape for just such an occasion. He laid it down carefully along the floor in the middle of the room. When he heard the door open, the lost boy didn’t even look up from his task as he made sure there were no creases in the tape, “Your mess stays on your side of the tape, while my pristine side will remain that way on the other side.” The rainbow was only on the floor, not reaching over the furniture--yet. If things ever got that far, the younger might have to put his foot down.

The boy was wiping his eyes as he curled into a ball in the corner of the library. Three books laid in a pile at his feet, a fourth in his other hand. Rowan was just trying to get lost in the world of heroes to take his mind off of the pressure of being the youngest. He pulled up his hood as he heard footsteps approaching, hoping whoever it was wouldn’t notice him.

Rowan had been having one of those days. The kind where nothing seemed to go right. “I don’t want to talk about it,” he replied when pressed further. The boy had always been taught that talking was a weakness. “I’ll be fine.”

“Hey,” an extremely dirty Rowan Rolfe called down from up in the trees as he saw the legendary Peter Pan down below. The boy had been hanging out in the woods all day, just pondering life. “How’s it going?” his smile was lopsided as he stared at the other, a bright light in his eyes.

Rowan would love to say that he had an explanation for his current situation, but he really didn’t. The package in his arms was heavy as an elephant in the tiny boy's arm. “Dahlia, do you think you could help me?” he asked as he passed his friend.

Rowan had never been the best at tennis. It wasn’t that important of skill, but he always found himself on the public courts, training the day away. It was one of these days that he was lugging his stuff back when he saw someone sitting on one of the benches. “Hey, what are you doing here?” After all, the tennis courts weren’t the most interesting hangout.

victoria was on her way back from the candy store, seeing that her supply was somehow running low. “if i was still in sugar rush, this wouldn’t be a problem,” she mumbled, silently cursing her mom for not letting her go back to visit. the brunette was about to go into the local diner when a quiet voice caught her attention. her face lit up, seeing it was a younger boy. “hi!” she exclaimed. 

“This, uh, this might sound weird,” Rowan was beginning to rethink his decision. “Could I have some candy. I’ve, uh, I’ve just heard that you carry it around a lot.” He looked down, crossing his arms behind his back. His smile faltered, unsure of his mission to find the candy girl.
