âCare to drink to that with a total stranger?â Whatever THAT was.
âItâd be my HONOR.â
darkerthancain:
«I appreciate it.» He told her with a slight grin. «You died, huh? When did you come back?» Resurrections seemed to get out of hand and Jace couldnât help but wonder WHEN it all started. «Well, I suppose I could give you something stronger, but Iâd refuse to take responsibility.»
âAlmost a year ago.â She admitted. âTime flies by...â She remembered when she awoke, her panic, her sadness, her anger.... She quirked an eyebrow. âBring it on.â

He could not believe his own eyes when he noticed Tatia Petrova of all people in Mystic Falls. âSeems theyâre just bringing everyone and their grandmother back alive if youâre here,â he says, now completely bored of her presence around him. It was her blood that turned them into the monsters they are today and in Kolâs eyes she was just another physical reminder of this. âI honestly donât know what my brothers saw in you that had them raving like a bunch of loons.â
Tatia gave an amused expression. âI am in another body yet you recognize me so easily. Should I be insulted or complimented?â She questioned, hands on her hips. Kol was always volatile sheâd known this as a fact since he was a child. She gave a shrug of her shoulders at his words. âI would tell you if I had any idea myself. I had no interest in either of your brothers attraction.â At least it began as that. âAll I had wanted to do was honor my husbandâs memory, and keep my boy safe.â Her eyes narrowed as she thought of how Elijah had taken her life away from her.

Carrying the morals of a lifetime long forgotten now, perhaps his mother had been correct but in his time of wandering the Earth he had promised himself heâd either get revenge or bring her back. His suspicions had always lie in the Mikaelsons but there had never been any proof to them even if they had disappeared after her death. âI knew you were dead, killedâŠâ Though by whom had always escaped him and quite possibly drove him mad. Tihomir remembered the Mikaelsons just enough to know that one had been blonde and the other had dark hair like his own. âI wanted what had been stolen from me. I was just a child.â But that event had changed him. His eyes had once been light even with their dark color but now it didnât seem as if light had ever reached behind them. âThe man and woman woman who took me in treated me as if I were a slave and demanded I call them my parents. By the time I was a parent myself, I never knew how to be one.â Tihomir didnât wish to burden her or seek out her pity, simply tell her what had become of him. âI was happy when I had my own child and my wife but my desire to avenge your death was what had sealed my fate, and I regret it, but I wonât change that. Iâd rather them be gone than walk this Earth for so long. A thousand years, mama, a thousand years of insanity.â
It was disheartening to learn all this, that her death disrupted her childâs life in ways more then it should of. She nodded her head at his words, sucking a deep breath within herself. Trying to remain calm. âI know...â Her arms held herself. âI hated myself because I left you alone and I never had wanted to do that.âTears struck within her eyes, leaving a starry gaze. Her hands tightened into fists as he spoke of what became of him after her demise. Her face remained straight as he spoke. Her feelings were overwhelming her, but she didnât speak. She couldnât. âWhat became of your wife? And your child? Alexei you said their name was?â Her lips were sealed shut, and for a moment she was deathly quiet. However, soon enough she stepped forward, and wrapped her arms around her boy.Â

âI mean, I donât know w h a t we are drinking to, but we are drinking so i am in.â
âmy kind of girl.â
ofncglect:
âOf all the places to be trapped in, it just had to be in this one-horse town,â the vampire shakes his head a few times. âOh well, guess Iâll have to make the most of it.â Thereâs a sinister smile on his face while he speaks as he thinks about all the chaos he can cause while stuck in the borders of Mystic Falls.
"If I remember you used to call this âone horse townâ home.â And though her memories of Mystic Falls were not the finest, she would not stand idly by while it was disrespected. Especially when it was by a Mikaelson.Â
darkerthancain:
«Trust me, the difference is there.» Jace repeated, but he continued to share her amusement so it was quite alright. «The 10th century? Thatâs interesting - - and no, you certainly do not appear so.» Which was a good thing. Who wanted to L O O K like they lived for a thousand years?! «Are you serious?» The hybrid questioned with a grin. «Youâre really going to tell me that you donât feel that at all? If I give you something stronger the bartender will think Iâm trying to poison you.»
âIâll trust you, for now.â She said with an amused look upon her face. âYes, the 10th century. Well, it could also be because I didnât live all the years between then and this one.â she explained. She let out a laugh. âI assure you, even your best poison would not faze me.â She smirked.Â

He sort of expected her response considering he hadnât been so quick to believe her. There they stood on opposing sides wanting to discredit the other. Not much belief for the other, he knew it would be hard to accept the truth. Tihomir listened to her prattle on trying to make sense of the situation. Sometimes it was harder for humans to accept something if they werenât so quick to condemn. That, he knew, was possibly the only good thing Wyatt had done when he exposed magic to the world. No longer would the supernatural hide in the shadows. They could still be hunted but the likely chance of them dying like before had greatly dwindled. Mortals now lived in fear, not because they didnât know what lurked in the shadows â but because they knew now. The Salem Witch Trials hadnât been a mistake. Demon possession was real in a sense.Â
âI am not alive.â he corrected her sharply, wagging a finger. âI am dead. A vampire or better yet a heretic.â One who was a shame to the magical world, being able to steal magic and tap into it because as a vampire you were magical. âI died when I was thirty years old. Alexei was but ten. I was searching for Y O U when I found a vampire who thought I would be useful to her. One of the Mikaelsons had turned her. You remember them, donât you? I used to play with them when I was a child. I believe one of them fancied you.â Now that was a memory that didnât come easy to him. âAs it turns out I may have been able to bring you back sooner if I had the right spell or the right magic.â Tihomir didnât however. âI have been searching for you centuries. I had promised you I would find a way and I failed, and perhaps I was wrong to try.â He had looked forward to this day for a thousand years and now that it was there, his mother didnât believe him.
She felt sick to her stomach. âA heretic.â She repeated. What was that? Her son was a heretic and she didnât even know what the word meant. It made her feel all sorts of ill. âYou should not of searched for me....â She was dead, dead as a doorknob. âDid they not tell you what became of me?â She asked. âTwo of them, actually. the one who I fancied back was also the one who killed me.â She said, taking in a steep breath. Her gaze softened, though slowly, she began to shake her head. âYou should not of done that... You should of spent your life living and being happy... .â

To say that he didnât believe her would be an understatement. Deep inside he wanted to believe her but after so long of searching, failing and trying one last time â ⊠Tihomir could not believe it. There were no words and he knew several languages that he could search in yet in each language all he could think of was, WHAT THE FUCK? Knowing such words made him internally groan. Had he used such a language with her, he wouldâve welcomed a smack or two. Still as he looked at her and she told him information that no one alive should know, he heard no fluttering heart to signal she was lying to him. Not impossible to do but highly unlikely.
âShe was the one thing I ever did that I ever felt pride from.â Luckily for her, she had died of old age or whatever consisted of old age back then. She had, had her own family as well. She kept the Petrova line going for centuries. Had he never stopped to mourn her loss? If he hadnât felt like a monster before, he definitely did now. His baby, his child, the gleam the world had given his eyes â was gone, and he had been so wrapped up in helping his mother that he hadnât stopped to even consider what his daughterâs loss would mean for him. âI am Tihomir Petrov. I am your son.â Tihomir finally declares after having decided to go with it. If she was not truly Tatia, he would rip her vocal chords out and feed her to the wolves.
Her arms crossed as she awaited his reaction, hopefully he would give up her necklace without a fight. It would be a shame if she got hurt or died attempting to get her necklace back, didnât mean she wouldnât do it though. A bewildered expression crossed onto her face as he spoke. I. Why did he just say---realization struck her like a slap across her cheek. âMy son died. Is dead.â Her hands formed into fists at her side. âMy baby boy is no more. Do not stand there and say you are him---you are not!â She rejected the idea. âHe lived a full and happy life he--... he didnât...â She found herself chocking, getting chocked up.Â
As he said the words--those words--her hand cupped her lips. Her mind boggled, he had to be lying--but why would he be lying? It made no sense or logic. She did not want to believe him but what choice did she have? She stared at him, god dammit she was shaking. Her lips pressed together as she continued to process. âHow are you alive?â She asked, her voice was fragile. Raw. filled with fear that this wasnât real but a trick.Â
darkerthancain:
«Maybe so, but Iâm not a blondie.» Jace gave her a grin while he sat back down and poured them their drinks. Maybe it should have rubbed him the wrong way when she called him â child â, but he just laughed at her words and handed her the drink. «Did you just say V I K I N G?» Was that a joke? A weird reference that he did not catch? «Well⊠Believe me, this wonât bounce off like water.» So far it managed to get everyone drunk. Heâd honestly be surprised if it did not have an effect on her at all.
âI fail to see the difference.â She spoke with amusement. She let out a chuckle at his disbelief. âIndeed I did. I was a V I K I N G.â She smirked. âI may not appear so, but I am older then your great great great grandmother and most likely beyond. I lived in the 10th century.â She took a sip of the liquid. She wet her lips together soon afterwards, absorbing the taste. âNot bad. Still, if thats the best you could do...â
whitedcvefeathers:
âIt was not positive.â The doppelgĂ€nger confirmed. âKlaus tried to kill me to become a hybrid, turned my ex boyfriend into a ripper, hurt and killed friends and family members. Rebekah tried to kill me and I turned into a vampire and⊠the list goes on and on so N O. Meeting the Mikaelsons has been a lot of things. Positive is not one of them.â Donât get her wrong, Elena was well aware that there were things she had to be grateful for, but still. She would never feel â happy â about the day that family stepped into their lives.Â
Tatia was unsurprised. Though part of her was somewhat H U R T that Niklaus, Rebekah, all of them would, would hurt someone who wore her face. Though, she knew, after Elijahâs misdeed, that she should expect nothing from the Mikaelsons. âThey are far form the same people I once knew so long ago. Unrecognizable.â Though she did wonder--and perhaps-just maybe... Elena would know. âI do not have much experience with vampirism. Does it have that same effect as it did on the Mikaelsons to everyone?â
