Dealing with children and cooking, the female sure is an expert on choosing for him things that he can not possibly do, “First of all, i’m not sure exactly what is it that i need to make up for.” he mumble under his breath while folding his arms over his chest, in a slightly childish manner, just how on earth did he get caught in this situation. “But i can offer to take you out for dinner to a nice place instead, because i’m nice like that.”

“You need to make up for ditching me last month on my birthday, remember? I forgave you, but i’d still like for it to be made up to me.” she said with a smile. “alright that is a good offer, so i’ll accept it. you’re off the hook with babysitting and cooking.” she said, patting his chest and walking around him. “though I still think hanging around kids would be good for you. you’ll never get comfortable with them if you never hang around them. remember when you weren’t comfortable around me? it’s the same as the kids.”

hana offered him the glass with the wine before taking her own. she felt a bit shy yet excited at the same time for the rest of the night. hearing him saying he would join her she felt assured and she was already thinking about what she would cook to please his tastebuds and tummy. “you’d better!” she raised her glass to cling it against his lightly before taking a long sip of it. licking her lips her gaze soon found his. “you know, i was thinking.” she took one more sip and scooted just a bit more closer to him to reach and pinch his cheek. “that there are still a few things i don’t know about you. i’m curious about a lot of things. like, where would your ideal summer vacation be? who would you like to go with and when exactly?” hana hadn’t gone anywhere in so long because she had nobody to go with and she didn’t want to be on her own in foreign places. so that was the perect chance to perhaps go somewhere finally instead of rotting in the house or at the office. “if it wasn’t already obvious i am suggesting to go somewhere together.” she chuckled covering half her face from his sight. 

“don’t be silly you know almost everything about me.” he said, though when she brought up her questions he realized that wasn’t necessarily true.  “my ideal summer vacation? I don’t know. some place with a beach though, i’d really like to be able to go swimming.” he said with a shrug as he took a sip of his drink. he almost coughed up a lung when he heard her suggesting they go somewhere together. he’d be lying if he said he hadn’t thought of inviting her on one of his many vacations, not out of pity or anything, but because he genuinely believed that they would have a good time. “You want to go on a vacation  with me? really? yeah i’d love to! we should definitely go someplace, but I only have one request and that be that it has a beach. Like I said, I want a beach.”

it was ridiculous how his car just broke down in the middle of nowhere. Seokjae was sure that he had done the proper checks before taking it. So he ended up being in an isolated area , without any reception due to the heavy rain. “I can’t believe this.” He said and tried to start the engine once again but the engine just wouldn’t start. “ I hate this!” He said in a whining way slamming his hands on the driving wheel. “Sorry about that… It seems we’ll be stuck here for a while.”

Yuri sighed as she watched Seokjae try to start the car, knowing that it probably wouldn’t start again. The last place she wanted to be was sitting in a car, in the pouring rain, she was tired and hungry and she was also getting impatient. “I’d say call a tow truck but with now reception that seems like a waste of time and effort.” She said with a sigh, pushing some hair behind her ear and turning towards him. “Maybe if I get out and push we can get the car starter?” She asked before turning and looking at all the rain outside the window. “Okay nope that’s a bad idea i’m not going out in the rain.” she leaned back against the seat and pouted. “what are we going to do?”

“Aw are you worried about me a little bit since I’m here in the middle of the night?” She asked rhetorically. Luna, then, resisted the urge to roll her eyes as she appeared in front of Junho. “You make it sound like I didn’t allow you to sleep a little bit,” she replied after she scanned over his body. “You look absolutely cute all sleepy like this,” she added before stepped inside of his home, “I couldn’t really sleep so I went out for a bit then found myself here.”

Junho rolled his eyes and shut the door behind her once she was inside, running his hand through his messy hair. “key word being a little bit. I need more than three hours of sleep luna.” he said quickly, walking towards the kitchen to grab a glass of water. if he was going to be up, he might as well drink something. “you went out for a bit? what, you were walking out in the middle of the night and decided to come bother me? you really need a better sleep schedule.” he said, walking over and handing a glass of water to her. “here, if i’m thirsty then you must be thirsty.”

—– ✤✤       “you should have known better then!” he realized that his voice got a bit higher than usual so he quickly took a deep breath to calm himself down. “listen. you said you didn’t love me anymore when you broke up and now you’re saying that it isn’t the case? what am i supposed to believe here?” and maybe his tone was getting a little broken as he was holding these words in for so long but he was trying his best to communicate. “my dj thing is nothing serious. you know it as much as i do. it’s an escape from my unwanted life. and you—– you were the only one to bring actual joy into it. not something holding me back.”

Saying I didn’t love you anymore seemed like the perfect cover, I figured you wouldn’t have been that angry about it.” he said finally. he cleared his throat so he didn’t cry in front of him, this seemed like something so silly to cry about. sure seokwoo hadn’t moved on, but he had hoped yoonoh had.”you brought joy into my life too. and if it means anything, I am sorry. it’s not that I wanted to break up, I just really wanted you to be happy. I didn’t know it wouldn’t make you happy.”

         Raphael’s hands are covered with blood and he finds himself wiping his hands off his black jeans, the corner of his lips tugging up into a smirk as he watches Solji retrieve some money out of the wallet from the man who’s laying dead on the concrete floor. “C’mere.” He chuckles, his arm curling around her shoulders once again before they finally leave the dark alley. “We need to head over to my place first. Can’t exactly show up somewhere like this and I’m not in the mood to have people ask shit.” He tells her, a rather soft sigh passing his lips as he pulls her closer to his side.

Solji smiled wickedly as she wrapped an arm around his waist and walked down the street with him. “I’m sure people would be too terrified to actually do anything about it.” she said, wiping some of the blood off her own arm onto her shirt. “I’m going to have to borrow some of your clothes though, or at least a shirt that isn’t covered in some dead guys blood.” she said with a yawn. years of seeing this violence had made it to where solji didn’t react to what Raphael did. In fact, she wouldn’t say she enjoyed it but she wouldn’t sit there and say she disliked watching him protect her. “Have I ever said thank you for all the things you’ve done for me? You beating up that guy? That was sexy as hell.” she said with a laugh.
