01/22/2022 -I went and recruited Lucien Flavius specifically so he could talk to Inigo, and he seems fun
01/28/2022 - They really really like each other. Definitely more than Lucien likes me. I think Lucien is just here for Inigo
This is all stemming from my playthrough where Lucien doesn’t talk much to me but he and Inigo are constantly chattering and it feels like it isn’t for my benefit either. I will be talking to a quest npc about something and I can hear Lucien and Inigo talking in the background about something else that I can’t quite make out. It feels like it’s giving my world depth. Very nice imo.
02/03/22 - Wandering through a wasteland on Solstheim and I’ll hear “Inigo. Inigo. Eeenigo. Inigoooooh” somewhere behind me. Ok Lucien is still there.
Guys, Inigo/Lucien is getting more canonical every time I play Skyrim. Inigo told Lucien he loved him. Inigo has never told me that he loves me. Lucien acted like Inigo was just joking around and then Inigo laughed, but honestly…
“Lucien… I love you” It could definitely be platonic, but another bit of evidence for the best Lucien ship being Lucien/Inigo. OMG, they have 700 lines of dialogue between each other.I thought it was a lot.
02/07/22 - I just want to tell you that Inigo and Lucien’s romance came to a screeching halt when they tried to murder each other.
I gave Inigo a lot of stuff to carry, not knowing that he would use any scrolls I gave him and one scroll he decided to try out was J'Zargo’s flame cloak. So he set himself and Lucien on fire. Lucien then decided Inigo was Public Enemy Number One and tried to kill him.
Inigo handily dispatched him, but Lucien went into crouch mode.Then every time Lucien tried to stand up, he’d utter a few words, and Inigo would stick a sword through him. Down he’d go again.
I took Inigo outside to calm down and they reset to being chummy. But now I know the truth and how quickly they can turn on each other
Inigo has never tried to kill me.
