Alien Methods Reinterpreting this image from Jessca's Tumblr. The concept is using the human body to highlight city connotations . I represented it using natural connotations. I used drawing which is slightly alien to me.
These 4 images are representations of an object which has been conceptualised in a new light with a new purpose. By exploring these objects, one can result in a creative response to everyday life and every day materials

What can we learn from experimental mark making?
Experimental mark making, allows to further develop the ideas around the mark. For example, if you were to photograph light, that is a great mark. However by using drawing as experimentation you really observe and understand the mark, and critically reflect on it
How do things look when they are created large?
When things are created large, we feel a sense of meaning. It is as if the 'thing' is meant to be there for a reason, and defines an experience which others had - It also influences the people around it and make them question what it is there for.
How does planning to leave no mark effect the final image and its documentation?
The final image becomes non existent or scattered, which makes you question the temperamental being of many marks and how they impact us. However we must document these marks to remember them and reflect on what they marked then and what the erasure marks now.
I think I found my landscape
