LDOA will open for TEXAS IS THE REASON on their German shows this summer! Over the years LDOA has played shows together with Solea and Garrett Klahn but now finally TITR and LDOA share stage. Come say hi!

LDOA will play a handful of shows in May!

First stop is at the wonderful record store Amager records in Copenhagen. Next up the coolest bar in Köln, die Hängenden Gärtenn and then on to everyone’s favorite venue, the Raststätte in Aachen. Last but not least we play the Summer’s Born Fest in Southend-on-Sea together with a bunch of cool bands. Come say hi!

The new album EVEN THE GOOD DAYS ARE BAD has been out for almost a month now. The response has been great and I’m happy we released it now even though the pandemic is still very present. Some people adviced me to wait with the release until things are back to normal, but both LDOA and Tapete Records thought it be good to release it now. Because isn’t it during darker times like these we really need art to give us a little break from reality?

We started making a new record about a year ago. Things we’re going great and some songs took shape. Then the pandemic came and everything slowed down, maybe even stopped. Inspiration flew out the window and you started wondering if things will ever be the same again. When will there be tours again? When will I see you again? Should we wait with a release until all this is over? When will this be over?I still don’t know the answers to these questions but I do know we’re releasing the first single from our upcoming album EVEN THE GOOD DAYS ARE BAD tomorrow!

KARL OPENING FOR THE LEMONHEADS!

Karl is gonna open for The Lemonheads around Europe in a couple of weeks! Evan Dando and Karl met first time in 2005 when Evan toured Europe. 2008 Last Days Of April and The Lemonheads played a handful of shows together in USA and a couple of years later they recorded the song All The Same that was released on Gooey (2010).
