Nikolai is my friend's character and he's Lionheart's half brother (so the last name thing isn't actually accurate but uh. Who care it's a song)

He's a half tiefling half owlin rogue who ended up stealing to support himself and his mother after they had to move away but before that Lionheart and Nikolai were best friends and completely oblivious to being half siblings. Lionheart doesn't yet know about the stealing and depending how it goes their happy Reunion might REALLY sour. Unless? But they're all pretty bad at communicating so um. It's not looking good

also I’m curious why Lionheart would be against the stealing, like what exactly was Nikolai stealing?

Well Lionheart is Lawful Good so he believes that laws keep everyone safe and happy (I plan on this changing). It's less what Nikolai steals and more the principle. Lionheart doesn't know that Nikolai is barely scraping by and isn't very smart in terms of like. Societal issues. Even though that's what his Paladin training is for

Sniles shyly well he's my special boy. He's a Paladin who believes his devotion is what keeps his mother's crops from wilting so he's extremely devout. He's very nervous about being so far from her to join the guild, but he's doing okay. Right now he's busy herding cats back into the cat cafe they live in. He's been doing very good at it and I think he might volunteer there after this quest. Yay <3
