it’s their last match together, for akaashi won’t go pro, but the memories built and bonds established together will never waver.
kageyama, as you can see, is not the best at expressing emotions and affection. imagine him having a crush. acting lowkey stalkerish and you’ll be able to find him at nearly every turn of the head.
sometimes your eyes would meet, be it in school or out, and kageyama will jump, cheeks flushing, an expression of annoyance or embarrassment sparking on his face. and then as if you hadn’t already spotted him, he’s shuffled to hide behind stuff stupidly— say, a lamppost.

the grip you have on your pen is getting tighter and together by the minute, and you can feel the pressure weighing you down— one wrong move on the paper and it’s the wrong answer. the back of your eyes are getting hot, and the paper blurs before your sight. this is… stressful.
a warm hand closes over yours, and you’re eased back to reality; looking up from the paper, you see kita’s eyes, brown like the bark of hazelwood trees, calm and reassuring.

“would you like me to help you with this?” he has a soft voice, like a warm gail that drifts across the ombre tones of autumn.
that’s right. kita shinsuke’s here to tutor you, and there’s no judgement or contempt behind those eyes. his fingers lightly rub your hand, the calming sensation lightening the heaviness in your eyes, the paper going back into focus.
“mn,” you respond, unable to muster anything else. you’re tired, exhausted even. it’s been a bad day, and having to study a topic that you’re so lost on alone was a daunting task.
akaashi keiji is someone you’re more used to seeing dressed in beige tones and plaid patterns, scarves and sweaters over trench coats with large pockets that he enjoys tucking your hands in. so seeing him in the summer, in cool, dark-ish tones of t-shirts and shorts, have always been something humorous to witness. keiji’s pretty features are always mildly annoyed, but the softness in the depth of his eyes, the way he puts the slightest bit of pressure into the grasps of your entwined hands, betrays the amusement he has from you teasing him about how unsuited he is for summer. that is, until you bring up going to the beach with bokuto and wanting to see keiji in brightly patterned beach shirts.

“Nanamin~! Come to the bar tonight~!” Gojo sang out over his colleague’s shoulder.
“With you? I’d rather not.” Nanami replied coldly.
“But _____ is coming! C’mon~, it’ll be fun!” Gojo bargained.
This got Nanami’s attention. He looked over at you where you sat in the faculty lounge to see if this was true, and you nodded when you locked eyes with him. This changed things.
“Satoru is right, Kento. You should come with us! You look like you need some time off and a bit of a leisurely activity to wind down with. You gotta take better breaks than going home and sitting on your couch for four hours.” You jested.
“Mmm… Perhaps I am due for a proper break.” Nanami then agreed slowly.
“Of course you are. Don’t think I didn’t hear you cussing in a corner earlier today. What did you say? Something along the lines of ‘I fucking hate working’ or something like that.” You snickered.
“... Fair point. Alright, I’ll come. If you’re there, it’ll make his presence more bearable.” Nanami nodded, shooting a sideways glance at Gojo.
“Oi! What have I done to you?!” Gojo complained.
“What haven’t you done?.” Both you and Nanami said in unison.
Gojo pouted, while both of you broke out into tiny smirks.
“Great minds think alike.” You snickered, bumping knuckles with Nanami.
“They do indeed. Alright, I’ll come for sure. What time?”
“It’s about six right now so… how about in an hour-sih? Meet up at the billiards bar downtown at around seven. Does that work for both of you?”
Nanami nodded while Gojo regained his excitement with a flashy thumbs up. It was like he completely forgot he was insulted only moments ago. The man was truly an anomaly.
“Perfect! Glad we can all agree! In that case, I will be taking my leave. I have a few errands to run and I’d like to change out of these boring clothes into something a little more appropriate.” You announced with a clasp of your hands. “Tell Yuji I said hi~. I know both of you will be visiting him once you finish up.”
“Will do! See ya later _____~!” Gojo chimed.
After you took your leave, Gojo slid his way over to Nanami with a stupid grin on his face. The irritated expression Nanami often wore soon returned, as one would expect when some white haired demon was breathing down your neck.
“All it takes is inviting _____ to get you outta the house hmm~?” Gojo cooed. “Got a soft spot for her~?”
“Must you tease me about whom I’m interested in? Of course I’m only going because of her. You’re a fool when you’re drunk.” Nanami stated bluntly.
“Ow! You’re so cruel to me Nanamin~!” Gojo whined. “This is how you repay me for setting up a potential date?”
Nanami stared at Gojo intensely for a moment. The tension in the room could be cut with a butter knife, but it was saved by a ping on his cell. He pulled it out to check, and sighed when he realized what he’d have to do.
“I’ll thank you if anything comes of tonight. How’s that, you damned fool.” Nanami sighed. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a small curse problem to take care of. Looks like you’ll be telling Yuji hello from the both of us.”
With that, Nanami stood and took his leave as well. It was just a small curse he had to take care of, so he wouldn’t be late to the arranged meeting. Gojo made sure to tease him about that as he left though, finally earning a slight pink tint of colour on his cheeks. It was thankfully not able to be seen as Nanami had already left, but boy was he irritated, and hated being flustered in front of a fool like that. He was a little worried that Gojo might try something stupid at the bar, but he couldn’t back out now. You were expecting him, and hurting your expectations was far worse than dealing with drunk Gojo.
He was suddenly glad he got the call to exorcise a curse. Blowing off some steam might do him enough good to forget about all those dumb teasing comments. Breaking composure was not common for him. Work wasn’t so bad in this case.

Time passed in a flash for everyone once they dispersed. You personally had gone straight home to do a little freshening up; not for any reason in particular other than perhaps dressing to seem more appealing under the dim light of the bar you were intended to meet at. If there was a chance you could come off as any level of enticing to Nanami, you would take it in a heartbeat.
It wasn’t anything special, just a bit semi formal so you didn’t look like a worn out sorcerer. You chose pinstripe dress pants and a well fitted dress shirt that glittered ever so slightly under the right angle of lighting; all black of course to match the mood. You left the top unbuttoned quite a bit to mimic a deep v, purposefully showcasing yourself a little while you topped everything off with a mature musky perfume. Trying a little for once would do no harm. Besides, this was a sort of plan to spend the evening with Nanami, Gojo was just the buffer to make it look like less of a date and more of a friendly night out if things went wrong. Of course there was the chance Gojo could fuck everything up in the end, but it was worth a shot anyway. You’d been friends with the moron long enough to handle it.
Because of this, you were almost late, wrapped up in your string of thoughts about the evening. You had barely made it to the bar by seven, waltzing through the doors right on time after the cab dropped you off. It wasn’t hard to find Gojo who was already there, his pure white hair sticking out like a beacon among the darkened atmosphere. With a huff, you made your way over to your idiot friend. It seemed that he had saved a pool table for you to use right next to the bar, leaning on it like he owned it.
“I see you finally made it! And here I thought you would blow me off~” Gojo teased.
“I’m not a flake, dumbass. You’re just fun to drink with.” You snickered. “Is it just you here so far?”
“Nope. Nanami is here as well, just taking a short bathroom break. He said something about reeking like a curse, so he’s probably getting all nice for you~”
“Really? As if buddy.” You scoffed.
“Well seeing as you got so nice and dressed up for the evening, it would make sense if he fixed himself up a little for you too~” He hummed.
This made your cheeks tint pink, barely hidden by the dim lighting. “No, you just have no style. Fuckin’ black longsleeve wearing ass-”
“Cussing out Satoru already? I swear I’ve only been gone a few minutes.” Nanami’s voice rang out from behind you.
You turned to see Nanami now that he had returned. He didn’t look too different, but you could swear you smelled the fresh application of cologne. Perhaps there was some truth to Gojo’s statement.
“He has a knack for being irritating no matter the occasion.” You responded.
“Part of my job~” Gojo sang.
“Of course it is.” Nanami sighed. “I see you’ve secured a table since I’ve been gone. Do you still want to have a round with me?”
“Of course! Nothing quite like catching up over a nice casual game of pool!” Gojo nodded.
“You’re only excited because you know you’ll win by default. You’re good at everything, Satoru. Cut the man some slack, eh?” You requested.
“No Promises~”
Gojo began to rack up the table, and while he did so you leaned over to Nanami to mumble just quiet enough for no one else to hear what you were saying.
“Listen, this ass is going to make this overly competitive for no reason. I know how you can win easily though, if you’re alright with exploiting him a little.” You bargained.
“Oh?”
“He’s a lightweight. I’ll convince him to let you break first, and get him a couple of drinks. He won’t be so good at everything if he’s drunk off of his ass, and you’ll have a fighting chance at beating him. What do ya say?” You offered.
Nanami scoffed, grinning a little after hearing your plan out. “I think the best stress reliever would be to see him lose for once. Go for it. Work your magic.”
You nodded, happy to have him agree so quickly. Once Gojo had finished setting things up, you waved him over. He came with two pool cues, one of which he handed off to Nanami while he looked at you inquisitively over the edge of his sunglasses.
“Hey, let Kento break. Give him some small advantage against you.” You told him. “In the meantime, why don’t I buy us some drinks until he breaks, hmm? It’s only eight ball. You’ll be fine.”
“Drinks? On you?? What a treat~! Of course I’ll let Nanamin break first then. He’s gonna need every advantage he can take.” Gojo snickered.
“Confident, are we?” Nanami huffed, picking up his recently ordered drink.
You shooed him away from the bar, trying to save him from any antagonizing comments Gojo may make. It was time to intoxicate the white-haired wonder, so you started with a few simple shots of vodka. Gojo was happy to take a couple with you, loving the idea of free liquor despite knowing he was a lightweight with bottomless pockets of his own.
While you had him distracted, Nanami removed his jacket and draped it over the back of a chair next to you, rolling up his sleeves to make the break shot. Over the edge of one of your shot glasses, you tried to nonchalantly watch him without being too obvious, following the line of his exposed forearms as he leaned over the table. He looked as if he were born to play such a casual game with ease, admittedly holding your gaze longer than you intended until the sound of the cue ball breaking the formation snapped you out of it. Conveniently, he sunk a solid right from the first break into a corner pocket. The table was now set, and he had the advantage.
“Nice break.” You commented, lifting your recently ordered glass up to cheers from afar.
“He broke already? Damn, what’s in those shots?” Gojo questioned, already tipsy and unaware that the game had begun. “Am I hittin’ stripes or… or solids?”
“Stripes. It ain’t your turn yet though, so have a sip of your drink eh? We got high balls to slow down for a reason.” You encouraged.
Gojo happily agreed to your suggestion, allowing Nanami to cleanly sink a couple more balls before he messed up an angle, allowing Gojo to get his first shot in. By now he was already quite tipsy, so this was going to be quite interesting.
“Go ahead, Satoru. Give it your best shot.” Nanami encouraged with a suppressed chuckle lacing his tone.
“I’m literally the best at everything. All my shots are the best shots.”
Gojo was seemingly unaware of the slur in his voice as he took his place at the edge of the table. He made a terrible bridge, and an even worse shot at the cue ball, the tip of his cue glancing off the edge of the ball and making it spin out away from any target he was going for. He stared down the line of his cue stick for a moment, his glasses sliding down his nose as it really set in how intoxicated he was.
“... Shit.”
“What was that about all your shots being the best shots?” You snickered.
You and Nanami locked eyes for a moment, knowing victory was very much attainable now. You had to do your best to hide your grin lest Gojo realize you had set him up for failure. While the drunken man straightened up as best he could, you returned to your drink and let Nanami make his next move. There was no recovery for Gojo now.
The victory was quite clear as they went on. While you sipped your drink nonchalantly, you watched Nanami do a near clean sweep of the table. Any mistake he made, you swore was on purpose, just to give the drunken sorcerer a fighting chance. Gojo failed at every opportunity presented to him though, which led to the final shot being a little screwy to deal with.
This was when your eyes could no longer play off where you were looking. The cue ball was dead center of the table, while the 8-ball was wedged behind a few of Gojo’s failed shots. It wasn’t an easy lineup, but Nanami was confident. He leaned over the table initially, but found his tie to be getting in the way, so he removed it and left his shirt unbuttoned slightly to keep his way cleared. When he leaned back over the table again, you couldn’t stop yourself from staring at him. Rightfully so, because his ass was right there for the viewing, chest pressed quite close to the table as he lined up the shot. Your vision was stuck to him like glue; specifically his ass, but to him in general anyway.
Of course he made the shot easily. How, you had no idea. The moment he struck the cue ball though it bounced and curved around all obstructions and sunk the 8-ball into a corner pocket with ease, securing him his victory. Gojo whined in defeat, having never really lost at something before, while Nanami straightened and turned to face you. He was already smirking, but seeing your intense gaze made it linger longer.
“Like what you see, or are you just happy that I won?” He asked you.
You choked on your drink a little and turned back to the bar, caught in the act. You said nothing, but heard him chuckle as he came to take a seat next to you. Gojo on the other hand, despite wailing earlier, cracked up laughing as he sat on your other side, ordering yet another drink for himself even though he had definitely had enough.
“C’mon, not gonna tell me where you were looking?” Nanami asked you again after ordering himself some whiskey.
“I was lookin’ nowhere.” You mumbled, finishing your drink.
“Mhmm. It also seems you’ve sacrificed your sobriety for my win. I should’ve cleaned the table while I had the chance.” He said.
“You could’ve, but watching this idiot try and fail was well worth it. And for the record, I’m not drunk, just a little tipsy.”
“We make a fine team then.” Nanami smiled.
“So we do.” You nodded with your own little smile.
“You played me! How could you _____!” Gojo gasped, not before inhaling another hiball.
“For your own good fool.” You snorted.
Gojo carried on complaining and drinking at the same time, so you drowned him out and ordered yourself another drink. Nanami tuned him out as well, leaning in closer to you instead to carry on his conversation with you in a lower tone. He wasn’t quite done talking to you yet. He had more to say.
“Hey, _____, don’t think I’m not aware of you staring at me in that way. I unbuttoned my shirt for other reasons beyond getting that shot.” He mumbled.
Your blush returned, and this time it was impossible to hide.
“You’re not alone on that one though…” He added on slowly. “My eyes have also… been wandering.”
Curious, you finally gave in and turned your head. His vision panned over your entire body, lingering shamelessly on your chest as he took a sip of his drink. Once his eyes met yours, the pink on your cheeks had gone scarlet instead, warmth radiating off of him as well.
“K-Kento…”
“Say, I know we make a decent team, but may I suggest we make even better partners?” He mused.
“You’re drunk already, aren’t you?” You scoffed.
“Perhaps a little. Not as far gone as you though, my glowing angel.”
He was quite bold with this statement, Admittedly, you melted a little, heart fluttering at the sound of an endearing nickname being assigned to you by him. Before you could search for a response, Gojo’s whining interrupted you once again. He was quite good at that one.
“Aw, I’m losing ____ to stupid Nanamin!” He mourned.
“Gojo, respectfully, I don’t think you ever even came close to having me.” You said, finding your voice again. “That’s a hard thing to do when my heart was already set in its ways.”
“Already? So, are you saying you’ve already held some interest in me then?” Nanami asked, intending to be teasing.
You turned back to him, resting a hand on his thigh. “Yeah. I can’t find words as smooth as yours but that’s the gist of it. Calling me angel really sealed the deal though.” You huffed.
“If that’s the case…” Nanami paused, lifting a hand to your cheek to tilt your head slightly. “... May I?”
“Please.”
He didn’t waste a second more and drew you into a sweet kiss, pressing his lips to yours while his thumb gently caressed your cheek. You pressed your weight into the hand you had put on his thigh, leaning into him as much as you could before you would fall off of the stool. You didn;t care that it was in front of Gojo. He could bug you about it all he wanted and you wouldn’t mind, because this was simply something you’ve always wanted. It was worth any amount of teasing in the future.
Vodka mixed with whiskey, an odd combo but welcomed nonetheless as you nibbled on his bottom lip needily, having no idea how badly you had craved this feeling. He seemed to enjoy it too, humming against your lips as he let go of his drink and slid his newly freed hand around your waist, facing you completely. Gojo whistled, but again, neither of you cared. Under the soft yellow light of the bar, you were lost in a separate world with Nanami, feeling nothing but bliss.
By the time you separated, you felt fuzzy and tingly, giddy to have his hands on you. He looked back at you with such soft eyes and a smile so intoxicating you couldn’t stop your own from forming. Both of you chuckled quietly, and you hooked your foot under his stool to drag yours closer to him.
“So… Can I say I’ve won more than just a game of pool tonight?” Nanami asked.
“Mhmm. You have indeed. I… wasn’t expecting that but… God have I ever been waiting for it. Are we… a thing now?”
“You’re right, you’re horrible with words.” He snorted. “But yes, I’d love it if you were mine, angel.”
“You better stop calling me that before I fall apart on the god damn bar floor.” You muttered.
“Now why on earth would I ever stop that? You look cute when you’ve lost your composure.”
“My god would you… mmmmm.” You huffed, not entirely wanting him to stop.
“I’ve lost!” Gojo cried out from behind you.
“You never won, idiot.” You and Nanami said together.
Despite Gojo’s incessant whining, it was a successful break from work. Gojo was beaten by Nanami in a game of pool, and you were the prize. An unknowing prize, but a prize nonetheless; and if it was Nanami’s arms you were to end up in at the end of the day, it was well worth the time off. His lips were all you wanted to indulge yourself in now anyway.

you’re passed out on the school library table, cheek smushed against the textbook you had been writing notes of; exam week hauls along an extremely unhealthy dose of stress and messed-up sleep schedules that you have fallen susceptible to, and you’re paying for that in the form of soft snores sounding from your table in the library.
it just so happens that tsukishima kei is there, and had there been anyone he knew around, he would’ve made fun of you; but instead he shrugs off his jacket, gently placing them over your shoulders.
he moves the papers away from your face, such a horrible fate should your things become wet with drool, and just stands there, staring at you for a long moment. what an idiot you are, he thinks to himself, for working yourself over the edge and not letting yourself rest.
you wake up to the familiar, comforting scent of kei, and a pleasant heavy warmth over your shoulders. your back is in agony from being hunched over for so long, and your cheeks are probably printed in red with the pattern of the table.
kei’s jacket’s draped over your shoulders, as if he had come over to do so. a small smile teases your lips and warmth rushes into your stomach. kei wouldn’t outwardly dare to admit to such an intimate, caring gesture, and you couldn’t wait to tease him about that later.
you’re still exhausted and your back is aching, but there’s a pleasant, content happiness in your heart as you begin to pack your things up, mind too numb to study.
miya osamu .
“evening.”
osamu looks up from his place at the shop, grey eyes landing on your form as you plop down onto the cafe table he’s working part-time at, looking absolutely horrible.
your hair’s in a mess, eyes bloodshot and the dark circles under your eyes particularly prominent. books fall onto the table with a thump, the softer sound of exercise books plopping after.
“evening,” the grey-haired boy says, lidded eyes watching you as you pull out a pen and highlighter, flipping through the pages of your textbook. he hears the sigh that escapes your lips as he walks toward you with a notepad in hand.
“how very nice of you to personally serve me,” you tell him, a hint of sarcasm lying under your otherwise dead tone. usually it’s osamu who sounds dead, so it’s quite an indicator of what state you’re in as you order a large cup of coffee.
“it’s late,” osamu states as he observes your scribbling and crossing out of pen marks. it’s physics, one of your best subjects. “shouldn’t ye be heading home now?”
“after i finish revising this chapter,” you mumble, focused on your work.
“hm.” osamu walks over to the counter, glancing over at the empty cafe. it was an hour to closing time, he noted with a check of his phone. he glances over at you, expressionless, in contrast to the concern he’s currently feeling.
he serves your coffee, retiring back to the counter, where he leans against the register, occasionally glancing up from his phone to you and the door.
thirty minutes have passed, and when he looks up, you’re still studying, pressing numbers into the calculator and writing numbers and words. the speed you work at is relatively slower in comparison to before, and that’s how osamu notes your exhaustion.
he walks over to your table again, taking a seat from opposite you. you don’t react, simply setting your calculator down to write down more equations. you’ve downed your coffee already, and now had advanced onto maths.
“i thought ye said that you’d leave after revising that physics chapter?” osamu asks, frowning at the closed physics textbook.
“after i—“
“after you sleep,” osamu cut in. his voice was matter-of-fact, lidded eyes firm as he gazed at you. you blink at him, surprised, and shake your head.
“no, but —“
“i insist,” osamu interrupts you, gently prying the pen away from your hand. he turns your calculator off. “i’m not the best student, but even i know that you need sleep in order to retain memory and focus better. just slogging away won’t do you anything but harm.”
you open your mouth, about to challenge his views, but think better of it and close it. you silently watch osamu clear away your things, and that’s only when you really come face to face with your exhaustion. your eyes feel like lead, as if gravity was wreaking hell on your lids and making you feel like some kind of living dead person.
osamu slings your bag over your shoulder, disappearing into the backroom of the cafe to retrieve his own bag and keep your cup. he walks to the cafe door, nodding at you to follow. you quietly follow, feeling as if you’re going to collapse if you even said a word.
“isn’t the cafe still supposed to be open?” you mumble, as he turns the lights off and flips the sign from open to closed, and proceed to lock the doors.
“a few minutes early won’t hurt,” the grey-haired boy replies.
it’s a quiet walk down the dark streets of hyogō, the two of you walking down to the rows of condos where you live in show up. all the while, your bag is on osamu’s shoulder, and his warm, large hand rests on your shoulder, his presence the only thing that tells you that you aren’t at home yet.
it’s warm, despite the low temperature of the night, osamu’s body heat radiating off of him. you’re warm too, both physically and mentally; your eyes hurt and they’re watery, and exhaustion time your consciousness; and the warmth of miya osamu is like a comforting fire in a snowy winter day, hot chocolate nestled in your arms.
okay so atsumu is portrayed as a flirty sort of fuckboy but i headcanon him as a really adorable and wholesome boyfriend … very touchy and open about his affection for you, and oh that laugh of his, you’re melting, his warm hands encasing yours, breath foggy in the cold winter air as he shares a paper cup of fishcakes with you. sweet little kisses he randomly presses onto your temple, and his rosy cheeks darken as you press your own lips to his, surprised by that gesture. i picture wholesome, romantic dates with this man. strolls through quiet gardens, fingers entwined as you two laugh, him pulling you through crowds of people in carnivals and theme parks. he’s adorable.

While this prompt might overlap a little with day two's prompt I, it's still a little different.
So choose a crossover episode, even the ones that were just with the Flash and Arrow, and make it Captain Canary. For this prompt, it doesn't matter if it's their first meeting, if they've known each other for years or if they're just now getting reacquainted after Leonard comes back.
Or, if you want to create your own crossover, feel free to imagine and mix any number of characters and situations from the Arrowverse! Just keep in mind that the focus is still our residents Crook and Assassin.
This prompt opens a whole new can of worms. What if instead of recruiting the Legends, Rip had simply joined in with Oliver and Barry when they first tried to help the Hawks to kill Savage, with a couple of surprise and useful additions? Or what if, when all the Earths came together, Leonard is there, alive and well, and now he and Sara have to learn how to navigate their new reality together? Or perhaps, when the Oculus exploded, it sent Len careening through Earths only to come out on the arms Supergirl, and now he has to not only adjust to this new Earth, but also to figure out how to get home (cue angst and longing)!
Use your creativity and imagination to make something amazing and, maybe quite literally, out of this world!
Prompt II: "Legends never die."
Another dialogue prompt. Who never heard that "Heroes always get remembered, but Legends never die," right?
Following the crossover theme of the day, this time you're also free to reach out from the Arrowverse to create crossovers with other shows, movies and books!
This day and prompt also work with any alternate universes you might want to play with! Vampire!Leonard and Slayer!Sara, anyone? Or maybe a Palm Springs AU? Or what about an Army of Thiefs AU?
Anything your heart desires can come true with this prompt, as long as you use the dialogue so it can apply, lol.

▪︎December 13th, Day Two: Alternate Meetings •
Prompt I: in canon alternate first meeting
I know the timeline around Sara's death VS Leonard's first appearance might be a little iffy, but if Barry and the Legends can mess with time, then so can we, right? The point of this prompt is to pick a canon episode and just add Captain Canary into the mix! Try and keep it as canon as possible, but we all know these two are nothing if unpredictable, so don't worry if things change just by them being there.
Need something to kick off that creativity? What if Sara was there when Barry recruited Len to help move the metas? What if Sara was passing through Central when Lewis came out of prison? What if Leonard was in Starling and ran into the Canary?
There are so many possibilities, and I look forward to see what you guys come up with.
Prompt II: "This isn't Bonnie and Clyde."
This one might be a little trickier, but that's why I added it, for the challenge! This dialogue prompt is not something one might say after just meeting someone, but with Sara and Len, one can never really know what to expect. Maybe they ran into each other while on separate jobs, maybe they have to unexpectedly team up to stop a common foe; who knows?!
Don't bother with sticking to canon on this one if you don't want to, you can write whatever plot comes to mind, in whatever universe you want to create/use. Soulmates? Done! Meet cute? For sure. Whatever your CC heart desires, as long as it follows the theme and prompt!

CAPTAIN CANARY WEEK 2021 IS 38 DAYS AWAY, WHO'S EXCITED?
I certainly am! And because of that I'll be releasing these "About the Prompts" posts throughout November as a way of explaining and expanding on the prompts, as well as promoting the event!
As you might have noticed, each day has an overall "theme" and then two prompts to get you started!

▪︎December 12th, Day One: Deja Vu •
Prompt I: Sara and/or Leonard's consciousness is thrown back in time and now they have a chance to change things.
This concept is pretty self-explanatory, and you can even find a million canon ways to make it happen. We're on a show where both magic and super advanced technology exist, so feel free to go crazy with that.
Maybe some magic villain decides to throw Sara's conciousness to her past body, where she can't stop them, but she can change the past. Or maybe the Oculus device has a second fail-safe, one that sends Leonard's consciousness right back to his past-body on that rooftop where it all began. The possibilities are endless, and I'd love to see what these two characters would do with a second chance like that.
How much would they be able to change? How much would they want to change? Would they be able to fix everything that went wrong on their mission, or would they want to find a way back to their own timeline? Is history destined to repeat itself?
I don't know, but I'd love to find out. After all, people do say that hindsight is 20/20.
Prompt II: Time Loop
What's more fitting to an "I've seen this all before" theme than a time loop prompt?
Again, pretty self-explanatory and the possibilities are still endless! Don't be afraid of making it into an AU, or diverging wildly from canon.
You can take inspiration from that Time Loop episode with Zari, or you can blame it on the Nerd Twins. Hell, maybe it's all the Time Master's fault or maybe someone was messing with magics that they shouldn't have been. What if Sara is forced to keep losing Leonard, again and again, until she figures out a way of stopping the loop? Or what if they meet before their mission on the Waverider, and are stuck together in this endless loop thanks to the meta of the week?
The prompt is your oyster... or something like that, lmao. Point is: go crazy with this Groundhog Day prompt.
