In The Lego Movie 2, when the character Rex Dangervest first appears, the song "Kickstart My Heart" can be heard. The lyrics are as follows: "Kickstart my heart/hope it never stops". This is a subtle reference to the fact that, in the movie, he fucking dies.

I absolutely love this because by far, my favorite screenshots come from this one line.

The dramatic lighting, his adorable faces, the contrasting colors to really make him pop out from the background... These screenshots of Rex are the best ones in the whole movie

this is funny in hindsight because nowadays I HC Emmet as having ADHD so the coffee would actually make him very chill (it'd work like meds probably?)

So Lucy would be freaking out because Emmet is acting differently than usual.
