SOOOOOO BENICIO GOT A REDESIGN!!! :D

ive been contemplating this change of pace for a very long time now but i had always avoided to because i never knew how to execute it. thank god i do now cuz i really feel like this is what was needed to keep me from going stagnant with Son of Ink

this revamp is the first, and in my opinion, the most important step for the Son of Ink AU to step away from the AU label to become something more original. I’ve been wanting to make the Son of Ink story something that was more isolated from its inspiration rather than being directly linked to it. A story i can confidently call my own. 

now this doesn’t mean that i’m going to be completely throwing away the original design that i had for Benicio but now he is no longer the actual one. Since i plan on changing the new Benicio’s last name (for obvious reasons), the old Benicio will stay Benicio Drew. But the actual Benicio will be the one, this one you see now, with a different last name…. aaaaa last namE I HAVE NOT COME UP WITH YET…. BUT I WILL. 

like i said this is the first step in the revamping process so that means this is the first step of many. Not much will be changed but concepts and name changes will be made to whatever degree. All I hope is to not disappoint!

This is a part of Inktober however you can just follow the prompt list however you like as well. The main goal here is to embody the toons of the 1920s-1930s. All the prompts are taken from themes and subjects that are common in old cartoons. You can use your own characters, create new character or use existing characters! DO WHATEVER YOU WANT THIS IS JUST MEANT TO BE FUN!

Since @duck-roulette​ mentioned Odette in their post about Tea I thought I should do a proper post about her!!  A lot of Odette backstory is still not yet set in stone, BUT what I do have of her so far is that she’s not so much a toon as an Automaton, Made in 1769 along with several others to play Ballet show in miniature! Now three centuries later Odette is the only one that remains.

I’ve been getting a lot of asks involving Rosie’s backstory and hadn’t gone too deep into detail about it or made any good art for it. I wanted to talk about a character I’ve had for a while who was honestly Rosie’s first friend and the closest thing she has ever had to a caregiver.
