Acie had chugged the water down, happily gulping it all down. Her tail slowly uncoiled from her leg as it whipped back and forth. The mutant seems slightly dehydrated. Once she was done, she took a long exhale afterwards, looking down inside the empty cup. Though, eventually she looked back up at the red slider with a small smile. "Yeah... I'll be okay."

[He nods, reciprocating the smile before standing up and walking over to another cabinet, grabbing one of the kits used for detecting kraang infection. While he does this, he sends Donnie a quick text letting him know the situation.]

"Acie might maybe be just a tiny bit sick and kinda sorta fell off the rafters-"

"PLEASE DON'T KILL ME I'M JUST THE MESSENGER"

Once propped up, the coughs quickly subside as she shakes her head out and looks at the resistance leader. Her eyes are widened, the baby browns staring up at him. "...I-I'm sick... Not again..." The small scout puts both of her hands on top of her head.

Yeah.. I can see that.. here, lemme get you some water.

[After making sure she was going to be okay for a few seconds, he ventures over to the sink, grabbing one of the small cups next to it and filling it with water. He walks back over to Acie and hands her the cup, talking to her as she drinks it.]

High body temperature, difficulty breathing, coughing... Alright, Acie. I'm gonna check you for kraang infection. I don't believe that's what this is, though. It's most likely just a fever or a common cold, but we need to check.. just in case.

[He gives her a small, reassuring smile.]

No matter what it is, you'll be alright. You're a strong kiddo.

Despite the immense amount of weakness she was feeling, her limbs shifted slightly and her head barely bobbed up as she awoke from the unintended slumber. Her eyelids were droopy and half-lidded as she stared up at the red slider. "...onard-" But a string of hoarse coughs was quick to shut down her attempt of a question.

[Leo is quick to help her sit up, gently patting her back as he eyes the sink. His voice is soft as he speaks.]

It's alright.. I'm right here. You'll be okay.

that's a nasty cough. help her through this, then get her some water.

She really isn't doing so well. As Leo holds her, she's nearly completely limp, excluding only her tail. And while being moved around, each breath sounded like a low wheeze instead of the normal inhale.

[He has already started helping to treat her high body temperature when he hears her wheezing. He walks over to a tall, white cabinet and opens it, pulling out a small humidifier and making his way back over to Acie. The slider plugs it in and fills it with water, placing it on the table next to the cot.]

And, without warning, she started to roll off her perch, weight shifted to become imbalanced. Acie looked slightly limp as her small frame fell from the napping spot and started her descent to the floor.

Acie!

[He moves swiftly to catch her, cradling her in his arms. He looks at the limp cheetah with wide eyes.]

You could've just told me, y'know.. [Then, he recognizes how high her temperature is.]

God, Acie.. you're burning up. Let's get you to the med-bay.

[He ventures to the med-bay, and when he gets there, he lies Acie down on a cot carefully.]

Said cheetah mutant was pretty still besides soft breathing. Her tail was loosely coiled against her leg and her ears were wilted against her head.

[The longer he looks at her, the more uneasy he gets. She's usually not like this.. was something wrong? His brow furrows with worry.]

Acie, kiddo..? Are you alright?

As the red-eared slider walks through the halls to whatever he was currently doing, a slight scratching noise and a presence above him lingered.

[Leo was on his way to tell Mikey and Raph about his interaction with Zinnia (and also tell them not to call her "Erin" should they converse with her). However, the blue-clad turtle slows down when he hears a faint scratching and also senses someone in the seemingly empty hallway. He focuses on where the sound is coming from, his gaze shifting towards the ceiling. He raises an eyebrow, barely holding back a laugh, as his eyes land on a familiar cheetah mutant, lying face down on a metal pipe. He smiles, his eyes soft as he looks at her.]

[Leo gets an alert on his comms watch that a new survivor has been found and that she is healthy, but has been placed in another area in the base where they facilitate people that are mentally unstable. Despite the nagging pain in his ribs, he makes his way to the facility to briefly introduce himself to the new patient.]

[He arrives and stands before the hard glass, taking a second to look the girl over before she turns around.]

[Zinnia quickly turns around with her wide eyes and her uncanny smile but she had dried out tear marks. She runs toward the glass, jumps up and kicks it hard. After she does, she jumps off and lands in a position that looks like a frog. She tilts her head.]

Well, well, well! Another man!! You look like the other, other, other one! The meanie, Don Don! I don’t remember his name, oopsies..

Nice to meet another enemy, though!! So, so, so silly… [she cackles]

[He keeps his position, only raising his eyebrows in shock when she does her "stunt."]

I'm not your enemy, I promise. My name is Hamato Leonardo, and I'm the Leader of the Resistance. We're here.. to...

[His words slow down as the woman in front of him starts to look more and more familiar. No, it's not her.. is it?]

-help you. I'm sorry for asking this, and I don't mean to pry or to cause offense, but have you even gone by the name Erin?

[Zinnia quickly stands up. She takes off one of her boots and throws it at the man only for it to hit the window. Her arm was still in the post throwing position and she tilts her head to the other side, giggling]

As I told Don Don… I don’t know. WHO THAT IS. Erin, Erin, Erin… I hate that name the more, more, more it’s used haha!! “Tell me what it is that I can’t see. Tell me now, tell me now… who is it I’m supposed to be..”

[Suddenly the voice is back. Screaming at her repeatedly “Find them. Run”. Zinnia quickly crouches into a ball and covers her ears even if it was pointless but she still had a smile on her face and chuckled.]

AUGH!! STOP STOP STOP, I KNOW!! PLEASE JUST LET ME GO!!

[He flinches slightly when her shoe hits the glass with a loud thump. Then, he thinks back to the name he saw on file.]

I'm sorry, Zinnia.. I won't call you that anymore.

[He watches with shock as Erin Zinnia crouches and covers her ears, taking a deep breath. His tone is soft.]

Are you alright, ma'am?

[Zinnia stays in that position for a minute before she sits down cris cross on the floor and looks up at the man, her smile still plastered on her face]

Oh yes, I’m fine, fine, fine, Lee Loo!! I think that’s your name… Just my instructions screaming at me is all!! If I could just leave this place and continue my quest the voices would stop, stop, stop screaming!!

[She eyes the door.] I would also like, like, like my stuff back once I leave

[Out of Zinnia's field of vision, he's been gently rubbing his ribs, still confused as to why they're hurting. However, he tries to focus on one thing at a time.]

My apologies, but we can't let you leave. It's too dangerous out there... Would you like some alone time?

[zinnia-the-dreamer]

[Zinnia pouts as she walks back to her corner and sits down, curled up in a ball]

Hmph, it’s not even that, that, that dangerous. Just leave me alone. Why, why, why am I even in here-?

[He watches sadly as she turns away from him and plops down on the ground, curling up. He sighs before speaking up.]

Alright, Zinnia. It was nice meeting you..

[He turns around, walking away. He checks his schedule; he has meetings all day. Thank god he doesn't have any trainings. He starts making his way to the first meeting he has, still thinking about the interaction he just has with Er.. Zinnia.]

[ after a particularly tiring patrol, yuichi arrives back at the base. after making sure his squad was okay, he makes his way back to his and leos quarters. ]

[He was in the med-bay, re-wrapping his arm. He heads back to his room to grab something, stopping when he sees Usagi.]

Hola, mi amor.~ ¿Cómo estás?

[ he turns, smiling once he sees his fiancé. he walks over to him, giving him a peck on the lips. ]

Eh, a bit tired but when am I not? [He lets out a small laugh.]

How was the patrol? Find anyone or anything? Did anyone get injured?

[ he chuckles, nuzzling his face in his lovers neck. ]

it went fine, nothing new, just a few kraang dogs. everyone's fine.

[He takes a few seconds to examine his partner's demeanor.]

[ he hums, latching onto his fiancé. he hopes leo has some free time, since he'd really like to spend some time alone with him. ]

[He discreetly glances at his comms watch; he doesn't have anything scheduled for another hour. He looks back at Yuichi, smiling fondly at him.]

I don't have anything for a while. How 'bout we do something? Just the two of us.

[ he smiles softly, wrapping his arms around leos neck. ]

[He chuckles and picks his fiancé up, holding him bridal-style. He carries him to their room. He holds Yuichi close, giving him a kiss and holding it for a few seconds.]

[ he giggles when leo picks him up, leaning his head on his chest. yuichi kisses him back, holding his face. his tail is wagging wildly. ]

[He breaks the kiss, keeping his face as close to Usagi's as he can.]

hmm... i'd like that.

[ he smiles, giving him another kiss before hopping out of his arms. he remains close to his lover, resting his forehead against leos. ]

[He gently places one hand on Usagi's shoulder, the other on his waist as he begins waltzing slowly.]

[ he does the same, going along with leos pace. he brushes his hand ever so slightly over the bandages on leos arm, giving him the softest look ever. ]

Ah, I was at another base getting back some supplies that they stole from us. When I wasn't looking, one of the other guards came up from behind me and stabbed me. They wanted to get their point across, haha!

[He looks at Usagi.]

Why aren't you laughing-

honey, you know i always laugh at your jokes, but this is serious. how come you didnt tell me??

[ yuichi looks at him, still keeping up the slow pace of their dance. ]

I didn't tell you because it isn't that serious and you have enough to worry about already. You don't need to worry about me too. I'm alive and the mission was sucessful. Plus, it was a one-time thing. It won't happen again.

bluebell, you're literally all i worry about. i'm always thinking about you, and im always worried something might happen to you. i want you to be safe.

[ he kisses him gently, breaking it after a few seconds. ]

i can't let anything happen to you, especially since you're not even my husband yet~

[He starts waltzing with his fiancé again, occasionally spinning him.]

[ he smiles, resting his head in the nook of leos neck. he moves his arms to rest around his neck, and changes the pace to a slow dance. ]
