…Ugh, What happened? Where am i? Wait wasn’t I chasing something?Let me think about what just happened, Wait thats right!

*Moments ago*

"Wait, stop running!" Blue shouted while running. A pokemon shadow swooped by Blue. "Ugh" Blue clenched her teeth, she grabbed out pokeball and threw out on the forest ground. "Nidoqueen! Chase after it" Blue held on to Nidoqueen "That way!" .."Wait stop!" Blue and Nidoqueen stopped running "It went next to this corner" Blue pointed next to her "Lets sneak up on it" Nidoqueen agreed. When Blue turned to the corner expecting to see the pokemon but only to find a .. portal? "Thanks Nidoqueen" Blue returned Nidoqueen to its pokeball. What is this ?Should I stick my hand it? Blue felt a little anxious yet she still placed her hand inside

*Back to now*

..Thats right! Thats what happened but where am i now? Why am i on the ground

Blue picked herself up. “Hmm what should i do now?” She mumbled to herself. Blue looked around the area

This place looks familar, hey theres a girl over there, ill ask her where i am

"Excuse me!" Blue approached the brunette, "Could you please tell me the name of ……?" The girl turned around "EEEEEEK! WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE ME?’

You know, Leaf was having a pretty normal day. Not much commotion, no drama, just her and her eevee Henni. A pretty chill time until an ungodly shriek caused her to literally jump and fall over in the suddenness of it all.

"Holy shit!" She yelped, turning over on her  back and using her forearms as her support. Henni barked, hopping on Leaf's belly to growl at the stranger that startled his trainer. Leaf herself was about to yell when she saw....

Herself? 

What?

Well, a younger version of herself. Not as filled out bodywise, but yeah, it was definitely her. Trippy.

"Who the hell are you?" She asked through gritted teeth.

Before you is a gift wrapped in a pretty bow. Inside is this sweater and a note. “Happy Holidays from Pokewonders RP!”

Leaf raised a brow at the terrifying sweater. "This. This will bring me in some hot bitches." Without hesitation she adorned her gift, even adding a pair of stantler antlers to her head for added flare. "I'm a babe magnet." 

Bring in the babes.

  I’m lost…again…

Yellow wandered around, hoping to get some shelter. She heard of secret bases, but she does not have the right move to find one. Well, at least this can’t get any worse….maybe. Right on cue, she immediatly felt a rain drop land of her and looked up. 

Shoot! It looks like there’ll be a storm soon!

She hurried, desperately trying to get to the next city or shelter in time, but the light rain soon turned into a downpour and thunder and lightning hit. She jumped up at the loud sound, not noticing a figure approaching her.

"Uh, hey? You need shelter?"

She quickly turned around at the sound of the voice. The girl, a long haired brunette, seemed familiar but she couldn’t remember how.

"Y-yes please."

Leaf stepped aside to let the blonde haired girl inside. She removed her own hat and gestured to the floor. "Sorry, place is a bit vacant. Just moved here." Well, it was kinda true. She had moved in a few weeks ago, and should  have furniture besides a tiny bed but hey money is scarce. At least, that's her excuse for the lack of a friendly looking base.

"Uh, I'm Leaf. Hold on." She grabbed a nest ball from her belt and gave it a small toss. Bright red light filled the room, but so did warmth as a large Rapidash folded her  legs beneath herself. "Get warm. Do you have spare clothes?" If not, Leaf had a towel-- Oh gosh darn it.

Secretariat was leaning as far as her position would let her to inspect the wet girl. She huffled and snorted. A horsey approval. 

"That's Secretariat."

leaf's pokemon: rapidash (headcanons)

Leaf got her Rapidash (Secretariat) from a hippotherapy (therapy via equine) riding center for special needs people that was shutting down and so her Rapidash is great at dealing with people and children alike. Being a Rapidash that was trained and handled for special needs, Secretariat is a wonderful people pokemon. She is gentle and slow, despite her name, but nosy and curious. 

Leaf gets more of the sass from the Rapidash than anyone else, however. The Rapidash doesn't do it out of spite. Most of the time.

*Secretariat is what is known as bombproof, being able to withstand most if not all stimuli presented to her. This makes her an excellent travel companion.

Missing people kind of sucks, huh? Leaf could relate. She did sort of disappear without telling anyone, and sort of regretted not doing so. Maybe she should have called Green more often, just to check in.

Leaf kicked a rock and frowned, it being a little late to just casually call up an old friend and be like, "Oh hey, sorry for not calling you sooner, but better six months later than never, am I right? Huh? Huh?".  Her stomach lurched at the thought of him being angry. Yuck. 

Shaking the thought from her head, she leaped down a small ledge, making a beeline for her secret base. It was a cruddy, ill furnished little thing with a futon and a small satellite pc. 

In other words, it was perfect. Just enough room for Leaf to stretch and have some time to herself. Why didn't they have these things in Kanto? Did everyone in Hoenn have a base? This was awesome. It made her feel like a child again but instead of forts, you made rad caves for you and your friends.

Another pang of guilt twisted in her stomach when thunder clapped and lightning struck just outside of the base. The sudden change in weather made her screech a little, but good for her that no one had been around to hear it. Not even a second later it down poured. The rain wasn't gentle, coming down hard like bullets and Leaf groaned. Wonderful. Any plans on getting to that Treetop town were down the gutter until the damned storm stopped. 

There was a figure, however, in the rain. Was it a trainer? 

"Uh, hey? You need shelter?"

  Steven stared, puzzled, at the Lillipup. “Well, even if it does, I’m worried that it actually might have a Trainer somewhere.” All of a sudden he stopped, noticing that the girl was staring at him as if she knew him from somewhere. He got those looks a lot.

"Are you wondering where you know me from?" he asked, amused. Then all of a sudden recognition crossed her face and he smiled kindly at her. 

"Nice to meet you. I’m Steven." He would have offered her a handshake but she still had the Pokemon in her arms.

"How did--?" Was her expression that transparent? Or was he just weird? She's hoping for the former. "Nevermind. We have a trainer to find. I can't leave a pokemon wandering around without a trainer." A person, maybe, but not a pokemon. Her lips turned down into a thoughtful frown as she put Henni down to inspect the lillipup closer. 

Leaf reached out, as if to pat the head. Instead, her palm came into contact with it's snout and the small pokemon lapped at her skin. 

"Well, atleast it's tame. So it must have grown up with a human." Henni made a quiet, but worried sound between her legs. The baby eevee staring up at the silver haired man with a thoughtful gaze.

  The same yip, coming from a Lillipup wandering around the city, was directed toward none other than the former Champion of Hoenn, Steven Stone. The young man’s focus switched from navigating the city streets to the small dog Pokemon and he immediately smiled, kneeling down to pat the Lillipup on the head.

"Why, hello there," Steven said gently to the Pokemon. "Are you lost?"

He took a quick look around and noticed that the closest pedestrian was sitting on the steps of a nearby department store. She was looking over at him, so Steven could only assume that the Lillipup had wandered over from next to the Trainer.

He stood, the Lillipup following behind him, to join the stranger. “Excuse me, is this your Pokemon?” he asked, gesturing to the Pokemon and smiling kindly.

"Huh? Oh." The lady glanced at the foreign pokemon and frowned, brows knitting together. "Sorry, but no. I thought my eevee was barking at something." He had better hold off on asking her to find it's trainer. Henni yipped again, louder, to the Lillipup but remaining in his trainer's lap. 

Leaf stood, scooping the baby in her arms. "Maybe it's a wild pokemon. It seems to like you a lot." The man in front of her looked important. Like a businessman of sorts. And familiar. Why did he seem so f--

Oh. He was Hoenn's former champion, right? Well, meeting celebrities isn't a common occurrence.

  Holiday season was rolling around and Leaf literally did nothing to prep for it apart from buying Stantler antlers for her pokemon to goof around with them. What could she buy that her parents would enjoy? They are retired hikers, so getting them hiking gear was out of the question. Potions? Nah, they preferred homemade remedies. Their pokemon were to old to battle anyway. 

   What does one buy parents anyway? Mother didn't like cards and had no need for any money, and her father would rather just eat everything. Maybe a new recipe book?  No, that's what she got them last year. 

  She frowned, declining the store's clerk offer for the second time before descending the stairs and making her way out of the department store. The eevee traveling with her kept at her heels silently following her out of the store. "Ugh." She flopped on the steps that would descend to the rest of the city. Passerby's made their way around her and continued about their merry ol' way.  A quiet yip caught her attention and Leaf lifted her head to look in the direction the yip was aimed at.
