League of Legends Team Fight Tactics is live: All the things you need to know!
This past week the league of legends server was filled with players playing Team Fight Tactics! Team Fight Tactics is an Auto chess game where you play your favorite league of legends characters in a more strategic rng format. Everyone is trying to get that sweet victory, however, most of the time RNG wants to just screw you up either early game, mid-game or worse late-game. The game doesn’t really do a swell job explaining how to play the game which I guess its more like league of legends in regards to learn as you go. So let’s delve into the world of TFT!
These little guys are your avatar you can pick one of these by purchasing them in the store. The little legends have upgrades when you purchase the same Little legend turning them into two or three-star evolutions. They have really cool skins however leveling them up is very pricey because you have to purchase their eggs with RP. If that doesn’t make it worse is that it is gacha based so you will get a random legend or it’s skin (probably one you didn’t want). I would rank these in descending order: Silverwing, furyhorn, sentinel, pengu , hauntling, and molediver.
Saving Gold increases interest
For those wondering why these streamers are getting 50-60 gold throughout the game, saving gold will increase your earnings throughout the game. You gain interest by 10s (10 gold=1 gold interest, 20=2gold interest, 30=3, 40=4, etc). So it is very important to know when to save gold and when to spend spend it!
What Origins and Classes are good?
From what I played so far I would say, knights, yordles, nobles, and wilds are really good. Assassins are good if you know how to position your pieces and yes you can take away some of the rng focusing with placing your units differently, especially if you want to avoid getting flanked. ( I will discuss placements on another post since there is a lot of different playstyle placements ^-^). So here is the tier list with for origins:
Glacials have immense CC and if you are lucky to have a full team then its game over for your opponents. Sorcerers are great in any comp along with wild because of the ability spams and fast AA! Phantoms are very hit or miss because if rng blesses you with sapping the strongest unit then you have it made. If not you pretty much have a comp with low impact. Items and who to invest in are important in your comp. You can have the best comp but invested in the wrong characters or made bad items. Here is a list for champion tiers:
It is super important to level yourself up throughout the game because your level effects how many pieces you get to put on the board! Upgrading your champions from 1-3 stars are very important to stay ahead of the game. By mid game you should have a couple of 2 stars and on the verge of a 3 star champion on the board.
TFT is about learning to adapt your team comp. Yes, you can have a strategy in the beginning to have just nobles but rng can bite you in the butt and make you change your game plan. You have to know when to let certain strategies go and think on the spot. This game has been really fun, especially when played with friends, and I can’t wait for more little legends to come out. We should be getting more champions and little legends as the game progresses. The orb feature of the game has still yet to be released so I will hold off on it.
