A beautiful skull that my neighbor had found for me! I love the green on the side and how the teeth are completely untouched by the decay. The only downside is that the skull itself is very fragile and not good for handling like the other one.

Recently I’ve been finding comfort in images of animal carcasses. It’s just so neat, and… Peaceful, in a way. They no longer feel pain, or suffering. They are sleeping now, and leaving behind something beautiful as they nourish the local wildlife. They are beautiful, even when they don’t exist anymore. Nature is beautiful.

Like the deer skull I have. In the forest, she is forgotten- but not by me, for I admire her still. Her skull is beautiful and soft, and I could only imagine how lovely she was in life.

I didn't realize those bugs were in there until after I got home and looked at the photos. Sneaky photobombers!

And that's all of the old photos! I went out today and got some new pictures and video. Those others were from last year, I think.
