Print a rose! It is the stem of a romaine head of lettuce. I printed it dipped in printing ink, and applied to muslin cloth in an all-over pattern.

This past week i had the opportunity to participate in an orientaion of letter press printing in the Book Arts Workshop of Dartmouth College. So much to learn...but well taught. We completed a poster as a group to serve as an April calendar. Each of the class members contributed a quote. After the proofing press we used a larger self-inking press. My mind is FULL of ideas for upcoming projects. #quotes#printing#dartmouth #letter press printing
