I finished one of the Westies I designed for Kraft Kollekte for beginning needlepointers as a naugahyde fannypack

I think I would like to live in a completely naugahyde world: it fills both my major motivators 1)sparkle plenty 2) easy to clean and cleaning is fun.  Cleaning means everything is going to be okay no matter what is going on in your life because look---everything is nice clean and shiny and clean.  It’s okay. It’s okay. It’s okay. We are fine fine fine

Latest pillow-family addition.  I made this for my dear Sabreen because there is an alley by my house that is called 'Breen' and when we walked by it she got  happy and said that was the closest thing she had ever seen to having her name on it -  you know when you are little and there are mini-license plates with kids names and pencils and whatnot?

They never said Sabreen---so I stitched this up--I mean looking back it should say Sabreen a lot more clearly BUT I couldn't put California on top because you say the "Queen of England" Not the "England of Queen"  so California can't go above its queen---

Aaaaand--she has gone off to Texas and while I cannot understand this- fully support it and am really glad there are airplanes so she can come back home to Berkeley to visit (these are supposed to look like Berkeley street signs btw)

Fuck the miniature man forcing the miniature poor to make miniature license plates with WASP kids names only!

Bday card I painted for my Dad this a.m. Because he is so into hot pink and glitter? I feel like a bad ass Tom-boy on the inside but some how left to my own devices everything ends up looking like something Barbie would oust off her plastic mantel in the dream house for being too girlie.

Once at work, I said, "Emily Haines is my Spirit Animal" my coworker looked at me and said, "What did you just say?" I looked at her and thought, 'you are so not West County' and wanted to throw up my hands in a W shape and shout "West County REPRESENT" but I figured I had done enough harm already, so I made out like I didn't hear her and had not said anything.
