I really want to see something like this in the anime *-*
victuuriweek: day one ↳ victor: surprises
we’ve all been there.
basically this chat post meme-fied.
hisomazu:
starter for @ledprintsvitya !
visualizing the sensation of his body falling against solid ice and breaking a bone. next, he conjured up an image of falling due to the slippery ground so that his head collided against the rink or the ice skate’s blade somehow tearing against his flesh– ! oh, the thought alone sends a shiver down his back as a pool of saliva started to form at the bottom of his mouth before he had to swallow it. after all, he can’t have his coach realize during their first session together that hisomu had hidden intentions for taking up this class.
with an ample amount of free time and not enough pain he hoped to receive some type of ‘ unfortunate accident ’. his delusion of desiring new sensations of aches ricocheting against his bones and flesh left him lost in those momentary indulgences. it’d be much more enjoyable if someone else inflected the pain onto him, a surprise is always ten times better compared to self-inflicted depraved intentions. however, that idea was to be stored away and instead he wore the guise of an eager, young student.
what a lie !
a deceit that he would see through, the outstretched grin cloaked in depraved expectations was muted to a calmer smile. in the meantime, he sat on the bench by the rink, he waited; legs swung as he focused his gaze at the skate blades slid against concrete. barely any indents left behind, instead he imagined digging those skates into his forearm and… – huh?
instantly pulled back to reality as the sound of someone approaching him cuts through his thoughts. his thin body stiffened up, head automatically tilted his head to the side by a fraction to project an innocent facade.
‘ hey coach– ! hope i’m not too early. brought my gear and everything ~ ’
they both had designated to meet around three in the afternoon ( after all he was no early bird! ) but he ended up arriving earlier. excitement for pain is priority after all, to the point where he had asked his parents for money. his first request that seemed vaguely normal, their son wanting to do a ‘normal’ activity, of course they’d compromise and instantly sent him money to purchase this coaching session and gear.
Viktor was still in two minds regarding whether coaching was something he wanted to pursue alongside his figure skating career, or if had simply been a one off swell of inspiration dedicated only towards Yuuri. He didn’t exactly need the extra income, FAR from it, but being very self conscious of the fact his age would soon become an issue in the world of competitive skating, he had to have something after to fill the gap until retirement.
Taking on new students was more a case of gaining experience and showing off the wonders he could work with them. Viktor already knew he was more than capable of producing a flawless programme guaranteed to win every time...but he still had a lot to learn in the ways of actual coaching. It was good practice in gauging if this really was what he wanted to do once competition forever closed its doors on him.
As expected, the calls for loaning his expertise came flooding in, but he worked fairly on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Taking on too many at once could hinder the quality of his teachings, besides, Viktor favoured the intimacy of one on one lessons. His first student, as he understood it, was a complete beginner--Something new for the both as them, as he’d never actually taught anyone to skate from scratch before! Buzzing with the excitement of a new challenge, he too had arrived a little before the appointed time and was pleased to see his pupil come in shortly after.
“Good afternoon, Hisomu isn’t it?” He greeted with a flourish of his hand, sloping his gaze to inspect said gear with a critical eye.
"Perfect! Your skates look fine but...is that what you plan to wear on the ice? You look like you’ve been run through a cheese grater my friend!”
Lesson #46 of coaching, don’t speak your mind too openly.

Yuri on Ice Week || Day 1: Le Parfum des Fleurs » Option B: Favorite Performance. ( Victuuri - Stay Close to Me)
Hair brushing = intimacy
I’m thinking about the image we get as one of the posts at the end credits – the one with Victor brushing Yuuri’s hair. I know it was said that it’s supposed to be from an outfit fitting at one time, and that the triplets took it secretly and uploaded it (not so secretly anymore), but, I mean LOOK AT THEM. Look at the serenity on their faces. The lighting in muted, the feeling is so calm and relaxing, Yuuri is sitting down, with his eyes closed, as Victor brushes his hair, and the movement is shown to be incredibly soft and gentle.
This whole scene screams intimacy. Two people, who love each other, being together as gently as can be.
And to contrast that, we get a tiny glimpse in Episode 11 or 12 (I can’t remember) of Lilia doing Yuri’s hair in the braid he wears for his Free Skate.
So. Different.
I know that Yuri and Lilia have a good relationship, and Yuri treats her and Yakov as pseudo parents sometimes, but the entire scene could not be any different. They both look businesslike, standing up in the middle of the studio in broad daylight, everyone is around them, and I can’t help but wonder if the creators of YOI put that scene there especially to contradict that muted, quiet, serene, semi-dark, intimate scene we see between Victor and Yuuri in the ending pictures. It always makes my heart ache.
(p.s. Love Wins).
can’t believe yuri is growing his hair out and living with his fiance :v
Yuuri: Viktor, I need to show you something!
Viktor: I hope it's your body
Yuuri: what
Viktor: you heard me
He doesn’t know how the pictures got there, but there they were, flashing up in HD quality on his phone screen...pixels of betrayal staring him boldly in the face, mocking him. How could Yuuri, his sweet, loving Yuuri DECEIVE him like this? WITH ANOTHER MAN NO LESS! Over and over Viktor scrolled up and down his feed, revisiting the haunting images until their contours were branded in his mind and burnt into his retinas. There was no way around it, his fiance was lying to him, sneaking around behind his back like the unscrupulous JUDAS that he was!
Even as the Russian looked away from the distressing evidence, he cannot unsee that beautiful, chubby face stuffing his mouth with PASTRIES! Delicious, sugar laden, icing coated PASTRIES oozing with thick, fatty cream! Why was this happening? Was there no trust between them? Did Yuuri see his coach as a tyrant who would deny him the simple pleasures of a sweet treat in moderation? Sure, figure skaters had to adhere to a strict diet and calorie count to maintain their muscular, streamline physique, but with the amount of training they were doing a little treat every so often did no harm.
An indignant sigh flew past pursed lips as Viktor pocketed his cellphone inside a long jacket, sliding his Gucci glasses down to rest on the bridge of his nose.
“вы были очень плохо поросенок, Yuuri Katsuki!”

Mila looked around her before entering the doors of Little Italy. The night was, in her opinion, a good night to go out for dinner and also because she didn’t want to cook. Walking inside, Mila looked for a table that was slightly out of view but still had a good view of the whole restaurant.
She walked up to an empty table and took a seat on the chair near the wall.A waiter approached her and handed her a menu. She flipped through it and ordered some pasta as well as a glass of wine to compliment it.
Handing the menu back to the waiter, Mila cupped her chin on her hand as she began to observe the people inside the restaurant.
On a rare night where his significant other was otherwise preoccupied, Viktor, feeling too lazy to cook for himself had chosen to test run one of the many eateries strewn about the picturesque little town. If nothing else, the French were reputed for their cuisine though it’s the savours of Italy which end up grabbing his fancy for dinner.
Tucked away behind his menu in a window seat of the restaurant, he’d not remarked anything out of the ordinary or particularly noteworthy of his attention. At least not until he caught wind of the auburn haired woman’s presence, prompting him to immediately evacuate his seat in favour of greeting her.
“Mila!” Without hesitation, he grabbed an empty chair from another table and dragged it to seat himself adjacent hers.
“What a pleasant surprise, how have you been?”

HAPPY NEW YOI… YEAR! ✨
I read it’s a Russian tradition on New Year’s Eve to write down your wish on a piece of paper, burn it on a candle and then mix the ashes with your champagne… just imagine Viktor saying his wish already came true now that he has Yuri in his life…
