2EYES, "Still can't believe that we are coming back after a member change+hiatus"
Group 2EYES have reorganised after the departure of maknae Yeonjoon. The soon-to-be revealed new song in 2 years, 'PIPPI', is a highly addictive song that will showcase the conceptual new sides of 2EYES.
2EYES have truthfully shared their overflowing thoughts on a comeback after 2EYES and the emotional hardships they went through after a member departure.
Breaking free of their dark and tough image, 2EYES have transformed into the adorable and trendy Pippi, reminiscing that "although it is a unique concept, we did not feel a sense of repulsion towards it. The song is fresh and the guitar riff in the first half of the song sounds sophisticated and we liked it".
Although 2EYES are starting their promotions with an 'Ugly Pippi' concept, they will show themselves becoming prettier as they continue their promotions, providing a new fun in looking out for the continuously changing image of 2EYES through each music program broadcast.
As they are coming back after 2 years, 2EYES revealed that they feel it is a "new debut". On top of that there were changes in members as well. They will engage in this round of promotions with new mindsets. Hyelyn revealed that "around our 1st anniversary I fell in a slump and felt insecure and unfair/upset, and therefore I still cannot believe that we are coming back. I think I'll only be able to feel it after going to music broadcasts and meeting the public."
Daeun and Hyangsook similarly said that "the time when we were unable to even answer when asked what we've accomplished in one year of debut was really hard. However whenever times were hard we worked to better ourselves and waited for the day when we would promote again. The result of that was extensively studying acting, foreign languages, dancing, DJ-ing and more, beginning to dream of being 'Almighty/All-rounded-dols'.
At the questions about Yeonjoon's departure, they cooly answered that it was "a choice towards a better direction". "It was a process that could allow us to better each other. Our relationship is still good. Nowadays we will meet in the practice room together and practice together. Although our album release overlaps with that of 'Infinity Challenge', we think that many people will look our way if we work hard at promoting."
