â Morning! Are you ready for your hot fresh cup of bodily harm? â â Gotta warn you, Iâm feeling punchy today. â â Sorry to break it to you, but you have so NOT got this, buddy. â â I guess this is what they call a âhostile workplaceâ. â â You may be a dirty criminal, but you have remarkably clean air vents. â â Oh, youâre so cute when youâre oblivious. â â After all these years, youâre still nothing more than an ignorant child. â â Why do I get the feeling that you were planning this all along? â â Youâll die as uselessly as you lived. â â If you worked this hard at a legit job, you wouldnât need to be a criminal. â â I wish I could bottle and sell your optimism, Iâd make a killing! â â Youâre already breaking, so it looks like itâs up to me to stop the entering. â â You and ____ would make some beautiful babies, you know! â â There are so many times I would have fallen apart if not for you⊠â â I get why you do it, but I never really loved the heroes hiding behind masks. â â Iâm lucky to be alive? Says the guy I saved five minutes ago. â â Honestly, why are you robbing again? You know the police are watching your every move. â â I know youâre kinda dumb, but I didnât think you were this dumb. â â You can tell me this secret now or make me punch it out of you later. Your choice. â â Your suit is awesome! Can we talk design details? â â This wonât pay the bills, but Iâll help you with this if it means a lot to you. â â Have it your way. You wanna fight? Well then, letâs fight! â â Well, thereâs nothing illegal in plain sightâŠKind of anticlimactic, huh? â â Itâs not really breaking and entering if I donât break anything, right? â  â We were good together, werenât we? Maybe itâs time to reignite that flame⊠â â You have to learn to swallow that pride and accept that youâre only human. â â I hope I live to regret this⊠â â Nice entrance. That was a solid 8 out of 10. â â I really wish these guys werenât so hostage-happy. â â The only way to fight a monster is to become one. â â Someday, Iâll turn the tables. Iâll show you what it feels like to be helpless and small. â â I want to say âdonât do that ever againâ, but I know youâre going to anyway. â â DidâŠyou just leave your clothes on the kitchen floorâŠ? â  â You know, as elevator shafts go, this is pretty nice! â â If you ever wanted to team up, well, we could do some real damage! â â Do you remember the last time we did this dance? â â Youâve got a hell of a left hook. Canât wait for the rematch. â â Sometimes, information is worth more than money, and I learned plenty watching you. â â That was really brave, but next time, leave the fighting to the pros, okay? â â Kneel before me, or Iâll pull your mask off and expose you. â â I feel bad for anyone whoâs on the wrong side of you. â â Love the optimism, but in my experience, when it looks bad, itâs usually worse. â â You canât stop me, but Iâm flattered that youâre still trying. â â There are easier ways to ask for an autograph than this. â â Itâs hard when youâre always the one that gets saved, you know? â â Amazing what a little teamwork can achieve, isnât it? â â The world would be better off without you, and you know it. â â Letâs justâŠgo ahead and forget that ever happened⊠â â I love ya, but you do know itâs rude to cut in, right? â â Give me one reason why I shouldnât kill you right now. â â Youâre a lot more than your past. Donât let it control you. â â Long time, no see! Weâre going to have so much fun together! â â Missed me, missed me, now you gotta- You know what, forget I said anything. â â Iâm not one to be judgemental, but you, sir, are an extremely disturbed man. â â Admit it, you were just waiting in the next room hoping the other guys would finish me first. â â âLie" is such an ugly word. I prefer âmisdirectionâ. â â I just conned the hell out of you and here you are trying to save me. How can you be so damn nice all the time? â
kxjae-bbâ:
There were some things even Jae didnât know much about. His own relationships equaled one failed relationship, one night stands, and an awkward yet satisfying first date with a vampire. His experience wasnât much more than his bossâs. âYouâll want to start simple for sure. Something like asking him out for food,â he said making a face after remembering his boss was a vampire. âOr well at least food for him. Just hang out with him outside of the store and start a conversation.âÂ
âFoodâ Haneul nodded.  âI can do food I like to eat it on occasion. Not that it does any good for me but yes I think I can do thatâ he nodded. still not sure if Yejun even really liked him or not. He thought about it and nodded again as if to reassure himself. What to even talk about at a meal. that was the issue he chewed on his lip and sighed a bit. "What do we even talk about"
yejunbbâ:
The hybridâs ears flushed red, so he tried to bury his face in one of the novelâs just so Haneul couldnât see how he reacted to the other. It was nothing more than a big, stupid crush that YeJun wasnât sure if he could act on. Flirt? Yes, he could easily flirt his way out of a box, but making a move on someone he liked made him nervous. âGood, um, canât wait to hear from you.âÂ
âIf world war three starts at the studio Iâm coming straight here and never leaving. You wonât be able to get rid of me.â He held his books to his as he followed Haneul around as the other worked. âYeah, I undeniably have a soft spot for them, but my older classes? Theyâre little demon spawns that rarely want to listen to what I have to say. The young ones are cute.âÂ
YeJun chewed on his bottom lip thoughtfully. âI was probably going to grab dinner at a convenience store and go home.âÂ
Haneul didnât know what to do know all that came to mind was what Jaehyuk said that Yejun liked him. That made him blush a bit and shake his head. he tried to shake the thought from his mind. It wasnât that he didnât like it as much as he did and he didnât want to get his hopes up. âIt will be a fun messageâ he joked not sure what to say or do now it was driving him mad.Â
âyou're more than welcome to hid from world war three hereâ he laughed shaking his head. He nodded about the older kid that seemed a common theme. when older kids where in the store if they got rowdy the never seemed to listen. Â
âWell Iâm out of work soon if you maybe want to get a bite to eat together,â he asked. Not that food did him any good.Â
yejunbbâ:
âAnd thatâs why youâre my favorite.â One book after the next YeJun went through the books Haneul picked for him. Truly they peaked his interest and he was grateful for the other for doing this just for him. It gave him hope that just maybe the vampire might like him. âThanks again for doing this for me. It means a lot.âÂ
âOh god I didnât even think about the umbrellas,â he groaned, eyes closed as he remembered a particular incident recently where a pair of his students came in yelling over sharing an umbrella with other people. Had the fight kept on any longer the hybrid was sure there would have been fists involved. âI busted my ass in front of my younger students yesterday and they decided that was a good time to dog pile on me. Granted, itâs a bunch of four and five years so there wasnât any fear of being smothered to death, but I did get a nasty bruise.âÂ
âAny time you ask and I shall orderâ He smiled as he picked up a few books that needed organized. He tried to keep busy, not sure what to say or do around Yejun. He smiled at him and nodded. "I'll be sure to message you sometime soon I promise" he nodded still not sure what to say.
"Umbrella's are dangerous if you really think about them. could cause world war three of the children" he laughed shaking his head. "You fell?" He asked with a slight chuckle picturing it the kids piling on top of him while he was on the ground. "I can just picture them piling on you. bet that was fun."
"So what is your plans after stopping here," he asked in a brief moment of courage.
yejunbbâ:
âYah, you couldnât bother me if you tried. If Iâm not at work or here then Iâm home alone with nothing else to do.â And when he was home, YeJun spent the hours locked away in his makeshift studio which was little more than a dining room without furniture. He happily took the pile of books from the vampire and flipped through the first one to read the summary on the back. âJust canât stay away from my favorite bookshop owner,â he teased.Â
The hybrid stood silent for a few moments as he actually enjoyed the synopsis of the first book he read over. âThis sounds promising,â he mumbled more to himself than his company. After realizing he had been too quiet, he jerked his attention back to Haneul with an easy smile. âI hate the little devils so much some times, but theyâre all great kids. They keep me up to speed with all of the school drama. You wouldnât believe the amount of relationships that end over sharing lunch with the wrong person.âÂ
âIâll keep that in mindâ Haneul smiled as he watched Yejun. He liked the dancer but he didnât know what to do about it. He smiled and nodded a bit as he went over the new books that came in for him. He ordered these kinds of books just so Yejun would come in.  It was getting past the normal talk that was hard.Â
âOh, I'm sure plenty of them end that way. Or sharing an umbrellaâ he nodded remember his childhood umbrella sharing was akin to a dateâ he smiled thinking about the children. So innocent the world hasnât tarnished them yet.  âSo anything fun happen at class or just the normal gossipâ
kxjae-bbâ:Â
âHaneul, if heâs being nice to you then Iâm being extremely nice to Seonghwa,â he said with a shake of his head. His boss had to be blind to miss giant blinking neon sign over the customerâs head that said highly interested. Sure, Jae had no business interfering with the otherâs love life, but there was no fun in that. He didnât just want to always gossip about his own, so getting Haneul set up with someone was high on his to do list. âYes,â he stressed, âI really think you should text him.âÂ
Haneul looked at his phone as if was about to bite him then set it down. He looked at Jaehyuk and nodded.  âOk maybe your right then what do I do about itâ he muttered.  âonly brush with romance I had was with my sire and even that didnât last longâ he muttered making a face. He was over fifty and as inexperienced as a teenager.Â
@lee-haneul-bb
âHe so likes you,â Jae teased as he stood behind the storeâs counter organizing the new stack of books they received earlier in the week. The human wasnât always around to see the blue haired customer that always flirted with his boss, but he had just gotten an eyeful that evening right as he walked in for his shift. âJust the way he was checking you out even when you werenât paying attention makes me a little jealous.âÂ
âMe no he's just nice,â Haneul said thinking about his latest encounter with Yejun. Sure he liked the other but Haneul was never lucky in love why would this be any different. He straightened up a display of some new releases shaking his head. He paused thinking about it maybe it was different for once in his life.  âWait you really think so?â he asked setting the books down as he thought about it more then shook his head and shrugged.Â
yejunbbâ:
YeJun had a secret, one which he would take to the grave before letting Haneul found out. The hybrid didnât like books all that much and the first time he met the vampire, he somehow got so flustered by the other that he spouted off some nonsense about loving sci-fi novels when really he didnât know much about the genre at all. Now, of course, he came in just about every week to not only pick up a new batch of novels ordered just for him, but to spend as much time as possible flirting with the bookstore owner. He made a beeline to the other practically ignoring the rest of the store.
âYou should have called me, Haneul-ie, I gave you my number for a reason,â he teased. In reality he had hoped the vampire would have at least texted. âLemme look them over and then I can tell you all about my week. Itâs been crazy.â
âI don't ever want to bother you Haneul smiled. He was always worried he'd be a bother. It was why he didnât call or message a lot of people. He smiled at Yejun as he grabbed the books he had ordered.  âAnd they just came in the other day i knew youâd be in soonâ he smiled handing over the small pile. Â
âYour weeks are always far more interesting then mineâ Haneul laughed. âBut working with kids it was bound to be that way.â The closest thing to a kid that Haneul worked with was Jaehyuk. He smiled as Yejun looked over the books.Â
@yejunbb
âHey,â Haneul said when he saw Yejun walking into the store. He had been ordering certain books for him. He liked all of his customers to have something they love about his shop. With Yujun it was trashy sci-fi novels. âI just got in a few books I think youâll likeâ he smiled coming out from behind the counter.  âThey just came in the other day. How have you been lately? busy?â
Haneul knew he had to be back at the book store soon. But he was waiting for someone. And they seemed to be running late. He wonders where his friend was. He looked at his watch and sighed loudly as he sat back down at the cafe table.  âCome on I don't have all dayâ he muttered slightly annoyed. when he saw them walking up he got up and smiled.  âHow is it I tell you the wrong time so you show up on time you're still lateâÂ
suhobbâ:
âI may be old, but Iâm not old fashioned in the sense of believing in the nonsense of them not belonging. Especially for not being true vampires. And Iâve never been very fond of vampires that have a habit of hunting human and hybrid alike solely for sport, the ones that flaunt their kills like trophies. It seems excessive to me.â he huffs softly. Perhaps he had stronger feelings on the subject than he lead on â stronger feelings that he hadnât quite realized himself until now. âBut the same goes for humans, as well. Itâs all a cruel nature, I suppose.â
âI agree fully with every thing you just saidâ Haneul nodded as he thought about where the world was with Hybrids. He wished there was more who thought this way. Enough so that something could be done about it.  âWe leave much of humanity behind when we become vampires but free will to do as we please is not one of the traits we lose. cruelty is a human trait too many haveâ
suhobbâ:
Suho pauses at first, looking elsewhere as he thinks. Itâs only after a moment that he finally speaks up, turning his attention fully to Haneul.Â
âAbsolutely. I know the difficulties that our kind has had to deal with, but I can only imagine what life could be like for a hybrid. Especially considering all of the controversies that lie on multiple sidesâŠif weâre being completely honest, I worry, at times.â He shakes his head a little, before turning the question back over to the other. âWhat about you, though? What are your thoughts?â
âI feel like they have a much harder life then either side. Human or vampire. they live in two world in many cases neither wants them.â  he muttered thinking about it.  âThere are vampires who hunt them for sportâ he sighed hating that any one would be hunted for sport. He found it cruel, but then there were vampires that hunted human for sport. at least in that sense it was for food.Â
Haneul looked at Suho for a bit. he didnât know the vampire well but he knew him by name and had seen him a few times. He smiled at the other as they sat there.  âHmm do you ever wonder what life is like for Hybrids?â He asked suddenly. It was a question that had been on his mind a lot lately. Hybrids had a foot in both world but some were hunted for existing. Many killed their own mothers something that he felt would cause a great guilt in their lives. Â
@suhobb
Sleep what is that? (self para)
Haneul sighed as he moved to open the store back up for its night hours. He had been working all day in his office on paperwork he had been putting off. and going through applications he needed to hire a few more for the night crew. He couldnât keep running it mostly on his own. He was starting to get burned out. Having only one other person on the night crew seemed a bit much.Â
Rubbing the tiredness from his eyes he sat behind the counter grabbing a book. he often read at night as it wasnât usually too busy a few people here and there. He hadnât even felt himself falling asleep. He nearly jumped out of his skin when someone shook him lightly.Â
âHuh huhâ he looked around then his eyes settled on the customer.  âIâm so sorry I can't believe I fell asleepâ he muttered standing how can I help you. Â
The young vampire was looking for something new to read. Haneul was happy to help them out. he always liked it when a vampire showed an interest in reading. not that vampires didnât read but he found some got bored with it easily. After helping the young vampire he smiled as they walked off with their purchase.Â
âGo homeâ a voice rang out.  âI mean if you going to sleep on me as it isâ it was his night worker he had forgotten they were even coming in. He wondered when they got here.Â
âno no I won't leave you here alone Iâll stay up and sleep in the morningâ he nodded. It would be another 30 minutes of arguing back and forth before Haneul gave in and decided to leave.Â
making it home he walked in tossing his keys where ever they fell he was too tired to care.  âI need to get someone I trust to do the paperworkâ he muttered he thought about Jaehyuk but he felt the boy already did too much for the shop, He didnât want to cut into his studiesâ  He sighed before falling asleep on the couch. Â
kxjae-bbâ:
âIâve more or less have everything put back that was behind the counter, but thereâs still some cleaning to do and trash. Nothing I canât handle if you need to keep working on your stuff,â Jae replied. âThere was a few rowdy kids earlier, but they left before anything too crazy happened.â
The human looked at his boss then back to the office where heâd inevitably disappear in to for the rest of the evening. âIf thereâs any paperwork or anything I can do to help let me know. Canât be fun being stuck back there all night.â There wasnât much paperwork wise Jaehyuk was sure he could actually be helpful with, but it was always better to offer help than not.Â
âOh,â he said, âI forgot I needed to talk to you about my schedule for next week. If, um, you havenât finished it yet, I was wondering if I could get Thursday shift switched? I have a test that Friday and I need more time to study.âÂ
âYou have got to be one of my quickest worker vampire includedâ He laughed looking around. He was glad he didn't have to babysit Jaehyuk like he did some of his other workers. He could trust him to get things done while he was busy with other work. "I need a slight break from all the paperwork I'm starting to get a backache. Besides I'm stuck here all night as it is. Our night hours start soon and my usually night manager is "sick" He's a vampire he's not sick"  Haneul rolled his eyes. He should let this one go but it was hard to find night workers.Â
"I'm sure I can find someone to switch it with" he nodded, he hadn't finished the schedule yet it was on his list of things to get done today. "I haven't finished it haven't even got to Thursday yet. or Sunday ok i haven't started"

@lee-haneul-bb
The student loved working at Yeohaeng Books. He felt comfortable among the shelves of books and quiet customers. With his schedule the store had become a home away from home. His boss Haneul was way cooler than Jaehyuk could have asked for. All in all he was quite satisfied with his part-time job.Â
With a stack of books in his arms, Jaehyuk went between the rows of shelves finding the home for each book until his hands were empty. The process was never-ending with one stack being replaced as soon as he finished. Closing time was coming soon, so Jae picked up his pace to finish on time. Before the end of the night heâd need to see Haneul to ask for a favor, and had let the vampire know when he started his shift. It was nothing serious, just a last minute change to his work schedule since there was a test coming up that heâd need more time to prepare for than he originally thought.
Time ticked by as finally his stack of books depleted. The last of the patrons were leaving the store and flipped the open sign to closed as soon as the last one was out the door. âAll gone,â he called out to his boss who was somewhere behind the student.Â
Haneul was behind on paperwork partly due to the fact he had to convince one person he was the actual owner of the store. It was one thing he hated about looking so young. No one believed he owned a store. He looked at the clock as he filled out a few orders. He also had an event to set up soon.Â
He had lost track of time when he heard Jaehyuk call out to him. He looked up shocked it was already that late. Getting up he stretched then walked out of his office. Locking up the doors, for now, The would open up again for their night hours. But, Haneul always needed a period between day hours and night hours. Helped him make sure everything was ok.Â
âHows the store looking sorry got caught up in paperworkâ he gestured back to the office. Right now it was his mortal enemy with as much paperwork he still had left.Â
