sooo. one wish willows 👀 hehe.. what if we were going along with an au where tim is in marble hornets and toby is just toby. livin with his mama and Fhhhhrank & he’s this real shut in guy, super nervous and uncomfortable to be around. disconcerting.
he is completely infatuated with tim. so much. marble hornets is his favourite thing in the world, he wants that man so bad it makes him sick… tim is kinda his one respite from how bleak his life feels. dunno.. he just keeps replaying the entries with him & he’s convinced they must be soulmates. lil off his rocker.
lyra gets him a lil gift from this weird shop she found cos she’s a kind girl who loves her weird brother. she’s kinda always out and about, and so she tries to grab toby all sorts of knickknacks. she’s worried about him! but anywaaay she gets him a one wish willow. fun little thing, make a wish, it’s an innocent gift. and toby probably keeps it on his shelf for some time honestly, might be dusty by the time he actually decides to open it.
toby has a real rough day. you can decide what this is, cos i'm not gonna HEHE but it ultimately ends with him snapping that lil piece of wood and wishing for something along the lines of wishing tim loved him. or was obsessed with him. movie movie movie movie
NOW. NOW WE CUE MASKY. in this lil world i've made, masky did not exist prior to this. he is like the other nikki of this universe, except it's not a total takeover like the movie. it's a mix! fun!
soooo um somehow it ends up with toby kinda being stalked by masky lol dunnnoooooo maybe he can have his own youtube like totheark KJEBRLAHGEH but he's being a weird gross creepy stalker about this boy and tim is horrified cos he "wakes up" and there's like a dozen tapes FULL of just......this kid??????? doing ????? Whatever??????????????????? and he has zero recollection. he is so horrified, he doesn't know what to do. obviously points fingers at the operator, but is also kinda really afraid he's gonna like. kill him or something when these blackouts happen, cos he (at this point) seen alex kill that guy in the tunnel. he's real nervous that'll be him.
toby eventually somehow finds out about this channel.. and let's also say that marble hornets isn't that popular just to avoid that whole mess. but toby finds it, maybe tim told jay, then jay posted about it & that's how he found it? he's kinda scared about this. because yes, he did and does want this, kind of, but it's not how he wanted it. he's hesitantly excited, and a lot more paranoid. schizophrenic boy i love you
it just keeps progressing, and toby doesn't want to tell anyone around him, cos they're gonna take it away. he's clinging to this newfound feeling of being wanted (kinda) by someone he clings to for his stability. even if he's real scared inside, he's not gonna ask for help.
masky keeps getting closer, blackouts are impossible to track, and it eventually becomes a slight face to face situation. masky, in this universe, is going to keep his strange inhuman characteristics. he doesn't speak, he just kinda....tilts his head sometimes. body language and that's IT. and much like other nikki, he is learning how to behave. he sits at toby's window — who by this point notices him — and they wind up kinda mirroring each other? very strange dynamic.
masky is a lot. still has the mask, obviously, and it's spooky. he's always got these big wide eyes, toby has never felt so seen and simultaneously watched.
they start getting a lot more up close and personal..hehe......aka toby starts leaving his window open. surely masky will be :) normal about this :) Surely. :)
sometimes there's a second or two where tim is the one behind the wheel, and he freaks out (movie compliant), but it never lasts long enough for anything to be done other than torture that manLOL..,, tapes get so much worse too. masky has become....hm. they have a strange dynamic, him and toby.. masky is completely obsessed with toby, and in turn, toby is curious about this once he fears him less. it's like he has a weird pet in his house. but he also is starting to really like him. he's got tim's face under that shiny mask, even if he doesn't....act the same..........sacrifices and whatnot
they start getting a lot more ,,,,,,,,,, intimate. lol. basically toby is taking advantage of the situation, and masky is eating out of his hand. even if sometimes he grabs onto toby a lil too hard, and looks like he really wants to hurt him bad. hehe.
tim time! he "wakes up" while they're having sex lol . and he freaks the fuck out. he is horrified and violated, and toby also looks so afraid at this. what a mess. tim is freaking out, and toby is desperately trying to shush him cos if he wakes up anyone in the house, they're both so so soooooooo fucked. and it's a mess. tim doesn't know anything about that wish, obviously, so in his eyes!!! toby is just this poor poor boy who is at risk. ajgrhegjrhgeh funny to imagine tim trying to explain anything at all and his dick is out. put it away man you think toby is gonna follow a word you say ??? :/
anywho. toby ushers tim out the window eventually somehow. dunno how. but he does. tim goes to his car, and to his horror, DISCOVERS MORE TAPES AND THEYRE JUST GETTING WORS.E. WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE WATCHING THE WEIRD VERSION OF YOU'S SEX TAPES. LKJ;KJEGRKJWEEJR
they just keep doing this song and dance honestly. i think tim could grow to like toby. probably watches those tapes and feels so much shame after...............hahha tim why are you um. Why are you touching yourself to those...omgg.............. ////
but true to obsession, masky just keeps getting worse. it's becoming a big issue. he doesn't want to ever be apart from toby, and it's getting a lot more concerning. little ways. grabbing toby a lil too hard, getting aggravated when toby tells him to leave, all that good stuff. eventually comes down to him taking toby from his home hehehe///... always some fun to be had when kidnapping is involved @_@ HEHEHE poor toby sooo scared, cos as much as he hates home, it's all he has, he wants to go back home so badddd...
post kidnapping, we bring back tim! yay! :) and he is horrified at this. truly. hands shaking trying to undo the bindings, mumbling sorry over and over real quiet....just doesn't want to spook him more than he already is. but he also feels really weird to be touching toby at all, and he doesn't want to contemplate why that is. he won't. for now.
toby is both so afraid and so starstruck. he never really got to directly interact much with the real tim, and now he's. in his house. stutter is real bad here cos he's super nervous for a billion reasons HEHE and it really does just make tim feel worse inside. he has this boy tied up and crying in his house, what the fuck is his life.
idk...imight just make it a back and forth thing, so that toby isn't really able to leave,,,. jkhregrhjeghrehj love. they kinda get used to each other though...tim is so plagued by shame though cos he just keeps thinking about those tapes....they're in his house man. trying to comfort toby but his brain keeps flashing this guy NAKED in his head. LOL
toby declared missing, foul play suspected...drools. neither of them know what to do. toby, some point while crying his poor lil heart out, brings up the one wish willow. and tim just immediately brushes it off hehe he's convinced this is operator related, and tells toby that it isn't his fault.........,..i keep key spamming and deleting it cos i like this idea so much LMAO but ugh. ugghgjfhj.
it's not quite stockholm dynamic, since toby does have an unhealthy obsession with tim, but he eventually does kinda settle in his current situation. kindaaa falling in looove. lol ugh i love him. tim is also getting a bit of weird feelings but he feels so evil and horrible here that he really tries his best to ignore it. specially cos he's still having blackouts and sometimes he opens his eyes to find toby's terrified ones. kinda sucks for them.
i think masky gets to become a nuisance to write here, just cos i selfishly want to keep going with tim ,, but he is still here. still important.
he has toby here, but what more does he want??? i don't think he even knows. just wants to watch him and touch him. probably wants to get under his skin (meaning literally)
toby in a corner and masky witha camera in his face for hours on end hehe...poor boy, all i do is hurt him. he makes it too easy..,,,but it's become a very strange/dangerous dynamic. toby is sooooo homesick </3 masky doesn't understand that. picture the other nikki scene of "no nikki, it's fucked." "is that a good thing?" he doesn't comprehend. he is a thing learning to behave normal. lol maybe he mimics tim's behaviours from marble hornets entries, wouldn't it be kinda scary to hear him parrot stuff he hears from the entries. >:)?
toby eventually wanders around the house somehow and finds all those tapes, the ones that weren't posted. or masky brings them to him? probably the latter LOL but he gets really scared inside about this. cos it's,. tapes of him at his most intimate moments, and he didn't know they existed. masky is sneaky with his camera. but now toby has to know that these exist, and that they have existed in TIM'S HOUSE AND HE PRESUMABLY KNEW ABOUT EM!!! mortified. scared. wants to go home, probably cries. poor boyyyy
some point we get tim return & toby......,,,brings up the tapes. oh it's killing me. tim tries to lie and say that he never looked at em, but his poker face is really bad. toby has a lot of feelings on this. yaay uncomfortable wiggle room in the dynamic!!! toby is still really sick in the head, and now has been off his meds for some time...hehe.
really starts leaning on tim for any comfort at all, and what is tim if not weak. i always write him as such. he'll cave in and really try to help in this shit situation, cos he feels sooooo guilty, but toby's starting to push it. "can i sleep in your bed? please?" ohhh please tim he just feels so lonely and he's afraidddd and it'd make him feel sooooo much better hehe
toby ends up kinda guilting tim into sex after a few days of this. LOL,,, oh mu god he's evil with it. watery eyes lookin down at tim cos he straddled him for this conversation, and he's going on about how he was a virgin and his first time was with masky and he just feels sooooo bad inside about the whole thing, and he really just wants a good experience. pls tim? and it, is as effective as you'd imagine. very. tim just carries so much guilt, it controls him too. HEHEHE gahjgrahjggrh it's so good. tim also might cave so easy cos he's a lil sick in the head and wants toby but you didn't hear it from meeee....
jay might start getting concerned cos he hasn't seen tim leave his house in......oh man. it's been some time. maybe he should go over to cheeckkkkkk

spitball post that’s probably messier than usual sorry LMAO
toby mayb got into a fight at school (rip homeschooled toby mayb you will happen later). no shocker there. but he must’ve done something particularly bad, or maybe said something that was a little too eeeehhhhhhh for this lil alabama school, cos he gets mandated therapy...a certain amount of sessions i haven’t decided yet >_> but he’s really frustrated about this. he’s been to all sorts of offices a billion times, he’s just not a very good patient!! shuts his mouth and sits until the sessions over. so, he’s frustrated about this cos he assumes it’ll be the same thing again. and his mama and fhhhhrank are really tense with him over this whole thing… gotta figure out lyra’s place here also. because i’ve never really written much involving her so it’s new territory. i don’t want toby to have her as a support system though so i’m gonna have to make a reason for that (college? viewed as a bad influence???? maybe living with a boyfriend)
tim is an okay therapist. usually works with younger adolescents, but it’s slim pickings for the rogers family & tim is new to the area. so he doesn’t have any prejudice and he’s honestly the best pick they have. but he’s an okay guy, nothing's really too too interesting about him. might put him in a loveless marriage just for the fun of it since it’d leave open spots for emotional dependency….but tim gets sooo much info on toby & he’s kinda intimidated. like Oh. Oh man. he’s really outta his depth here.
so first few sessions, nada. tim tries to get toby to talk, does all that therapy speech we’ve all heard a hundred times, kinda every method he can think of. which isn’t that much or that great cos again, he’s used to working with kiddos. not…angst filled teens with this much baggage. certain point, he just kinda throws in the towel (but since it’s mandated, they can’t just stop seeing each other) and puts on music. it’s kinda becoming a semi comfortable environment for toby, since it’s respite from everything else going on in his life. they might talk a little. tim is, happy about this. but feels a little weird because it’s casual. it should not be. but toby gets comfortable. & let’s say that a particularly emotional event happened for him, he’s really upset, and he’s just sniffling in the chair across from tim in his office. still won’t really open up about anything (he knows about duty to report and he is NOTTT playing that game again) but he’s at least using the office as a safe space
but ok yes. they spend most their sessions just…talking. tim mayb lets too much stuff about his personal life slip, & toby is kinda the opposite. he’s really tightlipped about what’s going on in his life. sometimes a teeeny tiny glimpse into what’s going on, but never enough to really gather important information from. tim’s a smart enough guy though. clues in that there’s a reason toby gets so cagey about home… hehehe…,.,., tim really got into the bad habit of talking to toby like he’s a peer though. it’s really bad. sometimes he tries to take a step back but toby is just soooooooo pitiful boy. and tim is subconsciously selfish about this cos he has no one else in town. he’s depriveddddd X_X he doesn’t stop the unprofessional dynamic & ultimately it’s all his fault hehe but he’s not gonna think about that now
at a certain point it becomes … very obvious that toby has a crush on him. he’s not very good at hiding it, but also he doesn’t really think he like,,,,,,,needs to. cos tim is (maybe i mean probably but i haven’t 100% decided) married right. but tim just kinda pretends he doesn’t see it & is not being a very good therapist or person because he makes no effort to really discourage him. actually, from an outsider’s perspective, one might say he’s indulginggggggg?
so the end of the sessions approaches and toby’s a real wreck over it. ok dramatic phrasing but he is obviously upset and he’s torn up…tim is not a strong enough man to let it go completely though.
he gives toby his number BUUUT as to not plague his conscience, he gives the explicit rule of “Only call me if you seriously need help. I mean it.” but they both know it’s gonna be pushed a lil. it’s an olive branch. toby does kinda follow the rules but it’s mainly like “i can’t stand the yelling pls come pick me up let’s go for a drive” and their talks continue in their little car rides. tim doesn’t say anything about how the rule was “serious help” and this is, not that. so. hehehe..,.,,.,. on these drives toby might open up a lil more on home life situation. dunno
one night toby calls though, and he actually sounds a wreck. enough to freak tim out actually. like speeding a lil over cos toby was seriously crying and he’s ummmm a lil attached >:) but he pulls up to the house & toby takes his passenger seat as always but he’s a mess. big tears and snotty nosed wiping at his face. they’re still parked outside the house since tim is trying to help but toby shoots over and tries to kiss him. unsuccessful because tim grabbed his arms and kinda held him back like Woah . Woah?????? but then toby is just. full on sobbing in the car while tim is still holding him by the forearms & he’s going on about how he’s sorry and that he’s the worst person ever and it’s…the melodramatics of a mentally ill teenager. as much as tim tries to ignore this tidbit. see the issue here, is tim is weak. he’s gonna keep letting toby push the boundaries until they’re weak, and he won’t do anything about it because he’s lonely. he’s hushing toby all gentle & mayb they’re physically meeting in the middle at the center console so tim can soothe him by rubbing his back. not really acknowledging that toby tried to kiss him but he also shouldn’t be this touchy with him. at all..
tim’s a little freaked out to be doing this while parked outside toby’s house because if he’s seen there’s a good chance he’s fuuuucked, but also this town is weird. maybe he wouldn’t be. lol. so they drive around probably over to the backroads. tim’s trying to coax toby to talk about what’s going on & it’s kinda working? but toby isn’t really volunteering information. just I HATE MY DAD shtick .. tim still doesn’t know the full extent of toby’s home life and honestly i’m tempted to keep it hidden from the reader too hehe just cos there’s so many interpretations that can be made….its fun like that. but tim is also in the dark. but this interaction is kinda like…….an opening? for the dynamic to get worse pretty fast.
i think if tim outright rejected toby, now or much earlier, it’d fizzle out. i think toby is rejection sensitive by nature. but tim will never do this because he’s weak. toby doesn’t quite see this, but he’s gonna keep pushing it from that point on. more late night drives, prying into tim’s personal life & getting him to vent about how trapped he feels in his marriage, just stuff that shouldn’t be talked about between a kid and adult, let alone therapist and past patient…., just keeps getting worse.
eventually they do get to the point of kissing because of reasons i’ve yet to think of but it’s nowhere even near healthy LOL it’s like. toby’s clinging to the first older male figure that’s good to him and wires are getting crossed, and tim is using toby as a means of escaping how bleak his life feels… not to say tim doesn’t care for toby at all, but they’re not on the same level feeling wise.
their relationship progresses mainly cos it’s like… toby’s first “relationship” and y’know how it is. he’s excited and nervous and everything has to happen NOW…!!!! especially cos he’s worried tim is gonna call it off because he does feel guilt about his infidelity…
something something dunno they are gonna have sex. it’s like…a pre planned thing and they wind up at a motel either on the outskirts or straight up outta town. premeditated can’t even blame spur of the moment….. this part isn’t very fleshed out in my head sorry but SOMEHOW WE GET HERE
tim asks toby flat out if he’s ever done this before & toby says Uhhh Yes obviously? but he’s … not very confident in anything. inexperienced nerves & there’s that little look in his eye that says he’s scared. he wants this and he is frightened because he knows there’s so much wrong with it. toby wants, and tim doesn’t correct it. i’m sensing a pattern here…but afterwards they’re laying side by side & just… kinda both feeling bad inside. toby is plagued by that horrible gut feeling that he just did something bad. tim feels like the worst person alive. s quiet between them for a bit and tim thinks maybe toby fell asleep or something but he breaks the quiet with “i lied earlier.” and tim says “i know.” because he did. toby’s a bad liar.
i haven’t thought further than here oops but this is already like 1.5k words of me saying nothing HEHE i think i’ll write this eventually. unique dynamic that’s just BAD

tim & toby are dating. cute.. but mayb one day they’re cozied up in bed. real domestic stuff. and tim just….blanks. it’s like he blinks and suddenly his hands are wrapped so tight around toby’s neck, and he’s lookin at him with an expression tim never seen him wear before. he looks…..hm. he doesn’t even look particularly any which or way. tim is, obviously, horrified. jolts back real skittish like, stumbling over his words and hoarsely saying sorry, oh God he’s sorry. and toby just lays there. hehe..,
fun stuff……..what if it were even more fucked up what then.
tim dog. now to find a border collie or something else that is like toby. hehe….,. he’s too big for the ticcimask shelf though so i’ll probably just keep him in the bed
