possibly the funniest thing is that ashley/kaidan on horizon are like 100% right to be suspicious of shepard and to be freaked the fuck out that their old dead commander is back to life on a ship owned by a human supremacist group who has committed multiple atrocious crimes in the previous games that they were witnesses to, but since shepard is your player character and can't be wrong + their writing is so..... subpar, the fandom has found them unforgivable for this ever since
