can you believe that i’m still salty that drew is an aries instead of a scorpio? i had a hc bday down for him and everything. also, i was under the impression that his name was just ‘drew’, y’know like drew b.arrymore, but nope. it’s ‘andrew’-- which is fine, w/e, i actually like the name, but dang, son. i have to change things on the blog now lol.
This is sort of like the dream come true, right? I didn’t expect to sort of be catapulted in this way, because growing up in the theater world, I was tall, my voice was kind of deep, and they really didn’t know where to place you. It just so happened that the superheroes landscape just works out.

Just signing on here to say that the shit with drew and mikey shocked the hell outta me (and i feel so bad!!) also, i KNEW he was on a full-ride athletic scholarship and just-- my poor boys. i love them so much ok. also, if drew loses his scholarship bc of his injuries I'm gonna be PISSED!!!!

HEADCANON 003. // bullying.
drew isn’t that jock that goes around bullying random, helpless students. he harasses nathan for personal reasons, but he doesn’t go around willy nilly tormenting everyone in his path. the only way he would get aggressive towards another student is if they started it, and only if they warrant it, OR if he found out that someone was messing with mikey. it is canonically stated that he’s not a bad guy. again: he will not fuck with you without a reason. yes, he can be a major asshole, but only if he feels provoked or wronged.

HEADCANON 002. // football.
drew took an interest in football at an early age. he managed to get a sports scholarship just as he was finishing up middle school, and he was accepted into blackwell academy. just because he’d been accepted into the school didn’t mean that he got a spot on the team just like that. there were plenty of freshmen at the time who wanted it, and on top of tryouts, drew also had to keep his grades up, which was easier said than done. needless to say, he worked his ass off and there were a few times when he’d almost given up hope that he’d make the cut. he was surprised when he was, and as the years went on, he went from not only getting a free ride through blackwell on a sports’ scholarship, but numerous colleges wanted him as well. it was something he worked through blood, sweat, and tears for, and he made it. then along comes the prescotts, and along comes nathan having a spot bought for him to be on the team. no tryouts, no effort, nothing. to make matters worse, he didn’t even seem to want to be on the team, and it just ate drew up even more inside to see a kid who’s got everything he could ever want, and want nothing to do with it. he didn’t earn his spot on the team; it was given to him, and it infuriated drew, so he’s made it a point to do whatever he can to get nathan to quit. you work for a spot, and only if you really want it.
