"Sorry just an (important) afterthought. The AF on the Q is incredibly quick compared to the X-Pro2. I shot this with an aperture of f/5.6 on the Q. I was standing next to the gamekeeper’s car talking to him holding my camera at chest height. His dog jumped from the back seat onto his lap and stuck his head through the window. I lifted the camera hit back button focus and triggered the shutter in less than a second. I barely had time to think about it. I completely trusted to the AF and it was bang on.”

Wie schreibt man einen Erfahrungsbericht über ein Objektiv, das mehr kostet als viele Kleinwagen? Insbesondere wenn man keine Ahnung hat vom Testen eines Objektivs. Und das irgendwie auch gar nicht mag – dieses Schreiben über Technik und so. Kann ich nicht. Will ich nicht. In etwa so habe ich reagiert als ich vor einigen Wochen das Angebot von Alexander Görlitz, Inhaber von Foto-Görlitz, bekam, das neueste Leica M-Objektiv für 2-3 Wochen zu testen und im Gegenzug einen kleinen Erfahrungsbericht für seine Webseite zu schreiben. Da er mich und meine Ansichten zur Fotografie durch meine Blog-Artikel wohl ein wenig zu kennen scheint, hat er gleich dazu geschrieben, dass ich nichts Technisches schreiben muss – einfach nur meine Eindrücke garniert mit ein paar Beispielfotos.
