It has been a while since I have posted anything on here. A very long while, which makes me slightly sad, I have been working so many hours leaving very little time for any creative things. This is something I made for a supervisor interview I had, just something little that incorporates the brand with humor.

Recently been very busy working, and had little time for much design work. Hopefully in the new year some more time will become free, however been doing some drawing and also been updating my photography website, to check out some of my photographs http://leighacastro1.wix.com/lcphotography
The minion is getting there, it has been some very intermittent work. The shoes do need some work, then some teeth and some texturing but he is getting there.
This morning I read a wonderful inspiring article about Carpe Diem on LinkedIn. This article really reminded me to enjoy every little moment in life, even if the good in that moment isn't always as easy to see. So I decided to make this image from the article in Photoshop, only a simple image but i think the colours work well.
New lens arrived today :D very excited to take it out and get some snaps with it.
This is the latest development for the minion. I am going to now add in the hands, then the boots and the button and flap top for the dungarees. After this I will then be adding the monocle.
These are just a few photographs that I have been taking on my various travels around. I am wanting to start taking some more architectural photographs and will be venturing into the town to take some of the beautiful church.
I graduated on the 18th :D very happy. I now have a First Class BA Hons in Animation. University has been the best 3 years of my life, I have met so many people done so much and I have developed as a person. I am sad that it is over, but I have a whole new adventure to being now. I have had a busy few weeks visiting people and places and so I have been taking some lovely photographs, I will upload these next. I am also currently now able to continue my search for a job and building my portfolio.
This is my minion so far, I started it one way and then changed the method of modelling. I have some areas to smooth out but so far happy with the general shape. I now have arms and legs to add and then the other features.

This is a very interesting and imaginative instillation by Thilo Frank. I saw something similar when I was in Liverpool once, amazing to stand inside and the lights add an extra atmosphere.

Another night without the main pc. So no modelling just yet for me, but I have been working on my creative CV, ready for D&AD in a weeks time and as for tonight I have been having a nice evening looking at tutorials, and just created a nice light burst effect text.
