Soundtrack Commentary - Music Director Noh Young-shim

Part 1. Brave

The lyrics is in Jun-ho's perspective. He's not helping her out of pity. I think when you meet a person who constantly makes you reflect on yourself, that is love. This song is about Jun-ho's will to be the one who walks with Young-woo in same pace and rhythm just like they went through the revolving door together.

Part 2. Beyond My Dreams

This melody was in my study note for a long time. I developed it based on the 'Revolving Door Waltz' scene.

Part 3. Better Than Birthday

I thought about what 'birthday' would mean to Young-woo. Young-woo says it's the first time she constantly thinks of someone. She is in love with Jun-ho. So the lyrics goes like 'I like you more than my birthday, you're sweeter than the cake'

Part 5. Inevitable

In the script of the kiss scene, the description about how the sensor lights turn on and off was very detailed. So I made this song based on that. Also the title of the song is from Young-woo's line in EP1, "It's not easy to not do it." (Eng title of the song is 'Inevitable' but in korean it is literally a sentence: 'It is not easy to not do it') To her, love is just like that. It's not easy to not love Jun-ho. Love is inevitable.

The final episode was carried by Park Eun Bin's acting. The sincere emotion that she conveyed gripped my heart, and I'm so glad the huge "Seoul-altering" dramatics that I wrongly assumed would take center stage didn't. Everything is more personal, more introspective. More valuable.

I love this show and I will watch Episode 16 again.
