Anyway -- CC/Fever talk time again.

So today's game... whew. Glad for the W, but being that close to almost losing to the fucking CT Sun is yikes. So I'm sorry, but the Fever are still ass. LMAO. Hate to say it, but this team is likely to get their butts whooped against better teams soon b/c everything is just a mess. The Steph White system remains flawed and broken. But they've been carried by Clark like crazy to 3 wins now. How much further she can carry them is up to her, I suppose. And she's a lil goat, so we'll see.

KM didn't piss me off this game but that's not saying much. Her not fucking up a game repeatedly for once is a nice change though.

AB... okay showing, but not the level of play we need from her after last game's master class she showed she can put on. Lock in again!

Sophie came through with big shots at the end when needed. As always I don't fw her, but hey -- pulling through when needed is all I'm looking for from most of these players.

Lexie... always a hustler. Gotta take those open shots though, sheesh.

Mo finally showed up again, finally. Been rooting for her! Had some good moments and key rebounds.

I tell ya, CC better get POTW for the league. She's cleared anyone else in her division for the week. Also, can anyone say MVP? Because time and again the team collapses when she sits for two seconds then she's gotta come back in and get them back on path. If that's not the very definition of a Most Valuable Player, I dunno what is.

Demon/Troll/Asshole CC as always is my favorite on-court CC btw. I don't even care that she got another tech. Those refs are a joke. She was getting hacked and held and hammered all night and didn't get to the free throw line one damn time, lmao. Nuts. Anyway.

P.S. Getting to the Commissioner's Cup final seems unlikely at this point unless Liberty have a collapse and lose these next couple games, but ya never know. Either way, as for the normal season action, the schedule from Thursday and beyond is about to get tough again so this is where they'll start to be tested for real. We should all buckle up lol.

Anyway — GREAT (and record breaking!) game by CC and Aliyah Boston, with super helpful little things from MHA and a couple others. Unfortunately… overall another dog shit performance by the team collectively lol. They should not have been in such a battle with the damn Sky of all teams. And I am so sick of the Kelsey Mitchell gimmick and I’m glad that people are finally seeing what I’ve been talking about this whole damn time with her. If it wasn’t for her making no less than three boneheaded moves within a five minute span they would not have gone into overtime. Ffs.

CC and AB have been single-handedly saving Stephanie White’s job with these ugly wins against shit teams, so I don’t know whether to be happy or frustrated ngl.

Anyway. Glad to have the win I guess, and glad to see Clark being Clark in spite of consistent sabotage attempts by this inept coach. Smh.

I honestly think Caitlin Clark should eventually leave Indiana and consider a team like the Lynx, Sparks, or Liberty. Minnesota already has a huge Midwestern fan base, and Caitlin Clark already draws massive crowds wherever she plays. I think she'd draw even more interest there because of her connection to the region.

I’m a New Yorker, but I’m finna leave because I want to explore different things, places, and people. That’s part of why I think Clark could benefit from moving somewhere new too.

Lynx have Olivia Miles now though and seem to love her as their young star PG and she's on a rookie contract, so no need to bring in another.

As a Sparks fan as a kid, turned Comets fan briefly, turned Liberty fan before supporting the Fever for Clark -- I'm pretty open. Would love LA for obvious reasons but she originally didn't want to go there as a rookie, but who knows now. Things change. I know PHX owner and coach loooooves her and wants that DT 2.0 energy as well lol. She'd also do great in the Bay at GSV even if it seems there's some sort of home crowd bad blood there for now haha. But fans always lock in to support whomever is on their team when they arrive, so.

Anyway, I guess we'll see. My biggest thing -- she can't waste another year of her career. She just lost a year to injury, and now this year is being lost to Stephanie White's incompetence and the Fever FO's sabotage, so she can't waste any more time stacking chips and establishing her legacy in the W. Wherever she lands it has to be surrounded by people who aren't afraid to treat her as the talent and the star she is immediately, build around her, give her the keys, etc. So I really don't even care where she goes as long as they do all of that.

Its actually shocking to me how out of touch people are when it comes to PR and optics in sports, entertainment or any sort of public centric industry really.

Like the fact that it really hasnt gelled with some people that when a barrage of media pieces are dropping about one person - someone has called the hit. People really think its a coincidence. Stories like that dont just happen. You see it with Tv and Film all the time, when a studio has a dispute with an actor then suddenly every entertainment news outlet is reporting how that person is difficult to work with etc. Its the same situation. Nothing in these types of industries is a coincidence.

Steph and FO fans think because someone stands up and says "everythings fine", then it must be fine. Sorry but the words and body language dont match up. Ccs entire demeanor changing when she was walking back to the bench and she got to Steph - then changed back again when she passed her lol.

Hate that Sophie backed down and tried to backtrack but also not shocked. That play was absolutely not drawn up for Cc lol. Anyway, next game should be interesting.
