I listened to your space on twitter the other day, hopefully you do another soon because i thought you had some good thoughts and insight into everything that's going on and that the discussion was good and respectful.
I don't understand how people don't see how this media onslaught is a targeted attack..
I thought it was common knowledge or at least blatantly obvious that when literally every news outlet is pushing stories about someone - whether good or bad - that its orchestrated. Seeing people online claim its just a coincidence is wild to me.
To me, i wonder if the goal isn't to necessarily push Caitlin out of the franchise rather to completely diminish her reputation so it lowers her stock value. Its already been confirmed that she isn't keen on rushing to sign her epic and even if she does, they cannot afford both her and Kelsey, so i wonder if they're looking to basically back her into a corner to sign a deal maybe not as expensive to them. i don't know, its all crazy.
Either way, the attacks, regardless of who is ordering them, is disgusting. Cc will come out of this stronger than ever though, and the media that tried to orchestrate the downfall will be the first to praise the comeback. We all just have to be patient.
The irony is most of the time Kelsey doesn’t even want to be there. That’s the craziest part of all. She’s tried to get out of Indy multiple times over the years. By her own admission, nobody wanted her for a long time. And then she’s tried a couple different times to leave over the last couple years. Things just ultimately didn’t really work out for her to go. People act like she’s the ultimate loyalist or something but if circumstances had been just a little different, she would already and happily be gone. 😂
Anyway, the interesting thing is, I could see a world where Kelsey stays when CC goes. But I could also see a world where both of them leave. I could see KM trying to go to a contender team to get a ring before she retires. But whatever, that’s her business to figure out.
My concern is just hoping that Clark lands somewhere with a GM and coach that actually wants to play her style of basketball finally. Her years and Indy will have been an unfortunate massive waste of her talent and career, but I guess ultimately really important lessons needed to be learned. I guess that’s one positive way to look at it…
As for the rest, thanks for listening to the space. I agree on most of all of that. And, I guess let’s see what happens in today’s game. Every game is a new chance to just get past the mental block and try to turn things around a little, even if the circumstance is not getting any better.
She and her teammates are good and have no issues with each other really despite nonsense being written in some of the smear campaign articles. So if she keeps playing like she’s playing, which actually isn’t even bad it’s just that her shots aren’t falling, but she’s still facilitating and carrying the damn team… if her shots start falling and her teammates meet her even 50% of the way, then they might stand a chance of salvaging the season in spite of the coach, FO, drama, etc.
