Anyway — GREAT (and record breaking!) game by CC and Aliyah Boston, with super helpful little things from MHA and a couple others. Unfortunately… overall another dog shit performance by the team collectively lol. They should not have been in such a battle with the damn Sky of all teams. And I am so sick of the Kelsey Mitchell gimmick and I’m glad that people are finally seeing what I’ve been talking about this whole damn time with her. If it wasn’t for her making no less than three boneheaded moves within a five minute span they would not have gone into overtime. Ffs.

CC and AB have been single-handedly saving Stephanie White’s job with these ugly wins against shit teams, so I don’t know whether to be happy or frustrated ngl.

Anyway. Glad to have the win I guess, and glad to see Clark being Clark in spite of consistent sabotage attempts by this inept coach. Smh.

I honestly think Caitlin Clark should eventually leave Indiana and consider a team like the Lynx, Sparks, or Liberty. Minnesota already has a huge Midwestern fan base, and Caitlin Clark already draws massive crowds wherever she plays. I think she'd draw even more interest there because of her connection to the region.

I’m a New Yorker, but I’m finna leave because I want to explore different things, places, and people. That’s part of why I think Clark could benefit from moving somewhere new too.

Lynx have Olivia Miles now though and seem to love her as their young star PG and she's on a rookie contract, so no need to bring in another.

As a Sparks fan as a kid, turned Comets fan briefly, turned Liberty fan before supporting the Fever for Clark -- I'm pretty open. Would love LA for obvious reasons but she originally didn't want to go there as a rookie, but who knows now. Things change. I know PHX owner and coach loooooves her and wants that DT 2.0 energy as well lol. She'd also do great in the Bay at GSV even if it seems there's some sort of home crowd bad blood there for now haha. But fans always lock in to support whomever is on their team when they arrive, so.

Anyway, I guess we'll see. My biggest thing -- she can't waste another year of her career. She just lost a year to injury, and now this year is being lost to Stephanie White's incompetence and the Fever FO's sabotage, so she can't waste any more time stacking chips and establishing her legacy in the W. Wherever she lands it has to be surrounded by people who aren't afraid to treat her as the talent and the star she is immediately, build around her, give her the keys, etc. So I really don't even care where she goes as long as they do all of that.

Its actually shocking to me how out of touch people are when it comes to PR and optics in sports, entertainment or any sort of public centric industry really.

Like the fact that it really hasnt gelled with some people that when a barrage of media pieces are dropping about one person - someone has called the hit. People really think its a coincidence. Stories like that dont just happen. You see it with Tv and Film all the time, when a studio has a dispute with an actor then suddenly every entertainment news outlet is reporting how that person is difficult to work with etc. Its the same situation. Nothing in these types of industries is a coincidence.

Steph and FO fans think because someone stands up and says "everythings fine", then it must be fine. Sorry but the words and body language dont match up. Ccs entire demeanor changing when she was walking back to the bench and she got to Steph - then changed back again when she passed her lol.

Hate that Sophie backed down and tried to backtrack but also not shocked. That play was absolutely not drawn up for Cc lol. Anyway, next game should be interesting.

Sometimes you don’t even realize how much something difficult you needed to deal with was really weighing on you until you get it done and then all of a sudden you find yourself having energy and laughing and creatively inspired a few hours later. Whew.

Sophie confirming on IG they went rogue on that clutch shot CC made. CC, Mo, etc liking commenting and Mo laughing about it, while Justine is also sharing it her story as well.

Those clown coaches have lost the locker room. That team is riding with CC and going rogue and I'm here for it.

The play apparently was drawn up for AB to try to get foul lmao... against refs that hate the Fever and AB (how dumb is this coach? jfc). And we know KM was probably the secondary / alternative option for the ball to get to. But they went rogue and CC got open, Sophie got it to her, and the rest is literal history.

The coaches really went out there and lied/be dodgy after the game to try to pretend that was the plan all along.

You know, a lot of fans clocking the bs get attacked daily and called conspiracy theorists. But we've yet to be wrong. Between stuff I hear and what we just saw, including some very telling vibes between CC toward Steph after Steph didn't challenge the call for CC... the way the coaches reacted to CC taking the shot, etc it's time for Cuck FC to wake up and realize what we've been trying to tell you.

Indiana Fever gotta fire Stephanie White and that whole coaching staff. Now. End of season won't be good enough. Mid season will be too late. If they want to salvage the season they gotta make a big change NOW. The FO's little smear campaign against CC has already been clocked and laughed at by most people and now they look even worse.

Shit needs to change. Now. And then maybe the Fever can stand half a chance at a decent run for the rest of the year.

i hate when people act like we're only mad because cc isn't getting good stats in this terrible system when not a single player on the fever has been able to stay consistent, nobody looks good out there and that's not normal. in 2024 especially the second half we watched cc ab and km each score 20pts with no problem while players like lexie got their moments to shine too. i don't fucking understand why we don't replicate that offense while focusing on being better on defense than that 2024 team was 🙄😔 stubborn ass coaching staff smdh

Yeah, there’s so many layers to this.

I think the irony is her other stats are pretty solid af. I mean she’s still leading the league in assists even with teammates selling easy layups, she’s getting a good chunk of rebounds, especially for a guard. Her TOVs are down (which actually makes me sad in a way because she’s taking less risks, and they’re losing ahem). Defense is up (but was never that big of a problem in the first place since she was in the Top 20 in the league for steals and blocks and still is). She often gets or is just about to get a double double and flirting with a triple double many games. It’s just that her shots aren’t falling and her teammates are struggling as well. And the whole roster just seems lost most of the time on the court together.

Literally everybody on the team is struggling in one area or another or sometimes multiple areas.

When not one damn player is playing to their best ability again and again and again… it’s the system. And that’s a coaching problem. It’s a problem for literally everybody, but it’s just more glaring for CC because she seems like a shell of herself and of course, has the biggest spotlight.

But also, it just goes to show that she’s playing the worst basketball she’s ever played and her stats are still better than 90% of the league’s best. And I think that’s what has people constantly trying to shit on her. They just can’t stand how good she really is. Trying to pretend like she’s trash when her floor is better than most players’ ceilings. 🤡😂
