— DILAN DEMIR.
@leilizamani·
“Leili, I’ve some wine and juicy gossip,” Dilan called out into the woman’s abode after she reached her front door and tested it. It had opened so the brunette had let herself in. Moving into the apartment with ease, the brunette placed the bottle on the counter while simultaneously pulling out her phone for one last check. When satisfied she hadn’t received any messages or emails, dilan muted the device and shrugged off her jacket. “Where are you? I’m parched.” She called out once more before she peered around, brows furrowed in search of her friend. Before she made it to the main bedroom, she paused when the door finally opened.
“You won’t believe what I heard. You know when we went out last and I introduced you to that blonde girl with the hot boyfriend?” she mentioned with a perk of her brow. “Well, apparently, she was lying and he’s actually her step-brother. They were waiting for her sister to arrive and meet them. Can you believe she lied? Maybe we’re just that intimidating.” Her brow wiggled then as she returned to the kitchen. “I’ll grab some glasses and you can pull out the cork?”
Wine and gossip — two of Leili’s favorite things, and doing it with Dilan is only an added bonus. She’s left the door unlocked, so her friend could let herself in; mostly because she is far too focused on the sheet before her. Though she no longer played, she still composed, voracious in her hunger for music, even if it came in halfhearted ways.
As expected, Dilan walks in, her first piece of gossip already tumbling from her lips, and Leili has to grin, a light shake of her head as she puts down her pencil. “Oh god,” she moans, chuckling. “You don’t think there’s something mildly incestuous going on there, do you?” She jokes, rising to pull out two wine glasses. “Like... she didn’t want us to steal away her step-brother or whatever.” As Dilan had already mentioned, he’d been quite attractive.
— KARINA OHANA.
Honestly,Karina wasn’t even paying attention to the sign on the door and whether it saidopen or closed, she just burst in through the door. She looked back over hershoulder now for a moment to see the CLOSED side of the sign facing inward.Well, at least she had that going for her, technically the sign still said open.
“Yeah, dad mentionedthat you guys had a new, antique clock that arrived not so long ago? He didn’thave a chance to come in himself so I figured I’d surprise him if you haven’tsold it yet.” He mentioned it a couple of days ago, but it was sure that he himselfdidn’t buy it yet, he could never stop raving about anything new he buys. Itused to drive Karina insane, but since she came back to Havenport, she’s beenactively working on making her relationship with her dads better, and little gifslike this definitely help.
“It’ssupposed to be dark brown; I think. Not sure how many clocks do you have and ifyou got a lot of new ones recently.”
Dad. The familiarity of the woman hits her all at once, and Leili raises her brow, mouth gaping open, finger pointed in recognition. “Oh, your dad... he comes in here a lot, right?”
In a town as small as Havenport, the regulars are few and far in between, and the ones that are — well, she got to know them fairly well. “I know exactly what you’re talking about,” she replies, and she steps into the back, carrying out a fairly heavy old clock, set in walnut, with intricate gold detailing. “Um — hang on —” She starts, bending down for her inventory booklet; six years and she still isn’t quite sure how to describe all the little knick-knacks she’d receive. Thank god her father hadn’t done all the authenticating himself, or she would’ve been in straight trouble. “Right. It’s from the 1930′s... made of walnut and gold leaf...” Leili looks up, shutting the book with a tight-lipped smile. “Although, I’m sure you’re not the one that’s interested in all the little details.”
— CASSANDRA GRECO.
@havenportstarters··
It was a beautiful and hot day out so when Julian gave her his perfected puppy dog eyes when asking to go to the park, Cassandra couldn’t refuse. It was a good excuse to take their corgi Prince out to work his little legs so after packing a bag with drinks and snacks she took her son and dog out to expend some of their energy.
While she had her eyes on Julian helping another kid on the monkey bars, Prince started eagerly barking as he began to tug Cassie a little bit backward. They didn’t get too far of course, but she looked over at the person Prince was attempting to happily pounce on and gave them an apologetic smile as she did her best to calm him down. “Sorry about him! I promise he isn’t trying to bite you, he just really loves making friends.”
“Oh — oh god!” Leili shouts, watching the little dog paw its way up her legs. “Um... hello,” she tries, hand hovering around the dog’s head, scratching it (albeit, a tad awkwardly) behind its ears. She’s not used to being so close to animals, as her family never let them have any pets.
“No, no, it’s fine,” she answers, giving the other a tight-lipped smile, not quite adept at making small talk. “He seems... nice.”

Karina was running late, she knew that, so she quickened her pace and hoped she would make it to the shop in time. She heard her dad mention that he saw a new antique clock come into the Antique store and she figured she’d surprise him with it, if only she could make it to the shop on time, of course.
She practically burst in through the front door probably only moments away from closing time and after she let out a couple of heavy breathes, she looked around to see if there was anyone still here. “Hey, sorry, are you guys already closing or do I still get to come in?”
Another day, poring over the books to the shop — despite her many strengths, running an antiques shop isn’t one, and for a fleeting moment, she wishes for her father back. Yet, as always, the thought is silenced, and she refocuses her attention on the bound book in her hand.
Lost in the petty addition and subtraction, she forgets to turn the little plastic sign to CLOSED, and a woman bursts through the door, half out of breath. She’s a bit annoyed (it technically is five-past-eight) but it makes no business sense to turn her away.
“Um — technically, but my fault for not changing the sign,” she says, pointing towards the door. “Are you looking for something in particular?”
[GOLSHIFTEH FARAHANI] — you see [LEILI ZAMANI] there? yeah, they’re [THE LOST SOUL] and they’ve lived in Havenport for [SIX YEARS]. [SHE] is [RATIONAL] & [HARDWORKING], even though most people think they’re [PESSIMISTIC] & [IMPATIENT].
for → @peytonkincaid location: the bar that peyton works at time: saturday, 11pm
Fuck that, Leili thinks, as she rolls her eyes, shifting a seat over. The man seated next to her at the bar had been pestering her for the past fifteen minutes or so — the woman usually avoided trouble at all costs, but the rather sexist comment from him had been the last straw.
“Another, please,” Leili drawls, rolling her eyes. “Are the men here always this disgusting?” She narrows her eyes at the pretty blonde standing behind the counter.
“I was something else, not a girl, not a wolf, something blank-eyed, tired, running after meat, running after trains.”
