They are sooo heavy. So I walk out the door and down the road to the end of my street ready to cross. There are many, many people on the other side of the road with their families and dogs and what to I do??? I freaking have to trip over my own feet, off the gutter and onto the road. In at vans mind you. FLAT SHOES! Now this is a weird experience because I haven't fallen over like this in YONKS! So I scramble to my feet again and keep walking. Ahaha pretending nothing even happened ahahah LOL! I mean, I had slight pain. Nothing to major. So I didn't curl a hair or anything. NEXT MINUTE. I look down to see my knees were dripping in blood and great... now the blood has stained my jeans. Another great... I have nothing to clean it up with. ||~ EAT THE RAINBOW! 🌈 I am so grateful for the lessons I have learnt when it comes to looking after myself. I mean, I wish I had learnt them years ago when I was a kid... but let's be honest they wouldn't have made as much sense as they do now. Having a good relationship with food is very important. Having a good understanding of which foods are right for our own bodies and which may not be. Staying in tune with our bodies... Really listening. Most of the time we just brush it off and forget about it because we are constantly worried about things we perceive as "more important" like our job, our studies, or ironically, our social media platforms. It's absolute madness --> it took me going through a terrible illness for me to realize this importance. Why?... Why should it take us such a scary, crucial moment in our lives to realize how important our own life is. How important it is to put ourselves first. How important not wasting a minute of this life that we have been gifted is. Never again! I never again want to go through that and I never again want to "brush it off" because something else is more important and I can just "deal with it later". Nothing is more important than you! This is your instrument. This is your life. One life. One chance. Look after it and nourish it. ☺️✨🌻🤙🏻 #happydays || @nourishfulsabrina 📷
