what if green piloted the ship instead of white?

as seen in the series, White was steering the ship recklessly and probably had no idea how piloting the ship works. as they said, they felt like they're "one of their chaffeurs", implying that they had drivers do all the transportation for them.

on the other hand, Green is the one who actually had passion to become a captain. seeing them in the series, they're basically gushing over Red and they were excited when they were literally given a chance to drive the ship.

something tells me that they might have known a thing or two on how to steer the ship. knowing them and their humble background, they must have studied or worked hard for this. the only problem with them is that they're a pushover, and lets White take the wheel without them even complaining.

if it would have been Green who piloted the ship, Green wouldn't dare to be as reckless as White. They would rather want to impress the crew than start problems. Maybe the ship wouldn't have crashed, both them and Orange wouldn't have been turned into impostors, and the crew could have been alive.

it just hurts to think that Green d!ed without having to try piloting a ship, and the moment they become an impostor, their dream died along with them. their dream is gone before it barely started.

I know it’s mostly for meta reasons, but I love that Liam canonically says “frick” instead of “fuck”. I like to imagine that the rest of the Dromies have literally no problem swearing, and it’s just him who does that. No one can figure out why. Liam says he’s “saving it for a special occasion,” whatever that means.

a possibility of drew and zoey getting back together at s2? +what is expected of drew

i'm not even the biggest droey shipper out there but this was something i had in mind as a possibility in s2

knowing zoey, she'd possibly do all means to get drew back. she, at some point did develop feelings for drew. because if she already has a rich sugar daddy, why would she still be in a relationship with drew? she even had to beg jake, "please don't tell drew about what you saw". she even cried when drew broke up with her offscreen. her feelings were real. i don't think zoey's going to give up on drew just yet.

on the other hand, drew might consider the idea of getting back with zoey. not because he forgave her, not because he would still love her, but because drew wanted to show EVERYONE at school that he still has his shit together.

after losing his best friend and girlfriend and being betrayed by basically his whole friend group, people might see him become vulnerable. but the thing about drew is that he's goddamn stubborn. he has a reputation in the school. he's so headstrong to the point he'd do whatever it takes to show everyone that he's still fine and strong despite everything that happened to him could literally cause him a mental breakdown.

he'd still go on his highschool years as an asshole, showing off a tough demeanor that would convince himself that he's moved on from all the shitstorm that happened to him.

so. he'd go back with zoey in order to show the school that he still got his relationship under control and show everyone that everything is fine, even if he knew zoey was a cheater. he'd show this off, and maybe even jake would be shocked or confused seeing them back together.

drew would also start bullying jake and the club even more to mask the fact that he actually still cared about jake. it's called reaction formation-- drew acting the opposite of what he truly felt. and ofc, projection. blaming the club for their fallout.

in short, drew is probably going to get worse before there would be a real focus on him in s2. he'd dig a hole for himself till he doesn't know how to get out. and maybe that's where his arc would start♡

like i am absolutely IN LOVE WITH THIS FIC! all the characters are written beautifully and close to canon! i especially love the picture of Drew in the balcony, from its companion fic, "The Music Freaks' Fandom Internet Archive"! so I made an edit of it! (i would draw the others too, but i'm pretty rusty so editing is the best i could do!)

i swear, you would never regret giving this fic a go! It's got a whole lot of peachplum too UGHHH♡♡ i hope i did the scene justice even if it's a simpled edit AAAAA
