i was wondering why lemon wimsey was racing around his tank like he’s being paid for it and then….

i saw a cricket get some serious air and my lizard leap his entire body length straight up after it and then fling his salad everywhere in an attempt to hunt it down

sadly there are no current pictures of the lemon, since he's living with my mom while I'm 600 miles away. but world lizard day lives on in my heart.

Also I got bit by the Lemon earlier today when I was cleaning his cage and he almost escaped. gj small lizard son you've finally figured out your teeth gosh I felt so horrible because it was a "hold lizard in one hand, suddenly he makes a mad dash and that split second of panic because you have the lizard by the tail, grab desperately with the other hand, chomp" sort of thing. I gave him a fresh dandelion flower afterwards as an apology because it's already springtime here or something
