This week’s @femslash-friday-prompts ‘whispers in the dark’ got me thinking of a fluffier AU for Sansa where she goes to Highgarden instead of King’s Landing. Margaery gently teaching her many things and opening up her mind to other possibilities for herself. Of her reading sapphic poetry by candlelight - whispering the words out loud that make her wonder - with a treasured rose from Margaery on her nightstand.

🌹 HAPPY SPRING 🌷

Probably during the hiatus between season 4 and 5 of Game of Thrones I sketched four Queens of the series each representing one of the 4 seasons (not of the series but well spring, summer, autumn, winter 😂) in the Art Nouveau style like artist Mucha. Having refind this promising photoshop file, I finished Spring. Margaery Tyrell from Highgarden, vulgarly the spring region of Westeros, so it seemed logical to represent her for this season. I wanted to make her surrounded by spring flowers 🌷🌻🌹🌼 and I’m almost dead to draw them all 😅. I don’t expect to wait for summer to post the next one, I hope you like it, I also show you close-up of these “cursed” flowers 💐, of Margaery and the pattern I had to create for her corset 😊. I would say “never again so many flowers” but … I feel I will have to do it again … PROFUSELY 💖!

“I’ve been thinking about you for the entire past three weeks, you know.” Sansa broke the silence, her gaze fixed firmly on the water. She felt too embarrassed to meet Margaery’s gaze per her confession.

“In compromising positions, I hope.” Margaery responded in a sarcastic deadpan that Sansa realised was shockingly accurate.

A modern Sansaery, inspired by @netgirl-y2k’s You’ re a Wanker, Number 9 (though this scene technically never happened there). It’s the Imagine Me & You AU where the bride-to-be accidentally, unexpectedly falls in love with the florist of her wedding (who also happens to be her groom-to-be’s sister oops). Family holidays are sure going to be awkward.
