“Well I was raised to doubt everything.”

“You don’t have to do what you were raised to do.”

“My people will turn on me.”

“I doubt that. Stop being negative.”

“I know that but we cannot have too many.”

“Nobody would move against you if you have strong allies.”

“Yes maybe a few people.. but not everyone. You might forget that some parents have a very strong influence on their children.” 

[leombarbosa]

“You don’t need the support of everyone. All countries have enemies.”

[attiswolfe]

“Yes but are you eager to be king? Proud to be one? Excited for when the war is over and you can take over the throne? Is it all you have ever wanted in your life? It has been my goal ever since I heard I would be king to become a king.. I want to be one.. I cannot be one if alliances break and my country hates me.” 

[leombarbosa]

“No but- I- You don’t have to lie about it. I know I would support you. And I’m sure so would others.”

[attiswolfe]

“No you couldn’t, because if your country would turn against you or your parents or anyone you could still truly love a woman, you could make children with her and not regret every second of it. You can be happy with the choices you make. I cannot. Oh if only you could step of that little cloud of yours.. guess that’s the good thing about being young.”

“I- yes, I could come to love a woman, of course. But if I loved a man then I would eventually come out. I don’t believe in sacrificing things for my country. Maybe the problem isn’t me being young, it’s you being negative.”

[attiswolfe]

“It might seem that way, but that doesn’t mean it’s true.. plus you have easy speaking, you can marry your girlfriend and still be able to love her fully.. must be nice.” 

[leombarbosa]

“I’m not straight either, Max. I happen to be dating her but I could be i a similar situation to yours. I haven’t seen anyone be bother by other sexualities here. You might be overthinking it.”

[attiswolfe]

“The world is that conservative, alliances will break and I don’t want that.” 

[leombarbosa]

“I don’t think it is. Nobody here seems to mind people’s sexualities. You only have to wait until all these people becomes kings and queens.”

[attiswolfe]

“Not if my people think I’d make a bad one because of my sexuality. Which they probably would, the world isn’t ready yet for a gay king.. not an out gay king at least.” 

[leombarbosa]

“Is your country that conservative? Or are you scared?”

[attiswolfe]

“That’s the one thing I lie about, because it makes sure i will be king.”

“You’d be king either way.”

[leombarbosa]

“The second I get off this island I won’t be into guys anymore. It’s a temporary thing for as far as the world is concerned.”
