"I'll be careful. Thus isn't my first time here, after all." The tension in his body melted away as she began to kiss along him. He rested back against the wall and kept his hands behind his ass, terrified some beast within would grab her head and fuck her mercilessly, even though he had never done that before in his life, let alone with Misha. He quivered at her touch, sighing and shivering as she teased effortlessly. He cooed to her words of encouragement and adoration in French, he had taught her some phrases he was most likely to use in sex, as well as some common helpful phrases. He smiled down to her and reached out gingerly to caress her cheek, his thumb rubbing the corner of her mouth as she started to take him.

"Maybe something small enough to be cozy and big enough to have enough room for guests if your daughter wants to come visit, and maybe if we do decide to one day start a family?" She smiled almost shyly before nodding in understanding. "Is it like marking your territory? Establishing dominance over the younger vampires?" She knew some vampires who were like that back on the island. She’d grown up watching them fight over hunting grounds. She nodded again, "I understand, and I can wait that long. I also want you to know that I already know this is what I really want. If there are any residual issues, I’ll work through them. I’m doing this. I’ve already decided that." She groaned when she felt him twitch against her and his hand moved to caress her. "Speaking of not fair…" She perked up at his offer. "If it’s a slow start you want…" she started to softly kiss his chest, getting lower a little at a time, "I can give you a nice, slow start." Her hands slid down his sides as she kissed lower, one moving to softly caress him. The entire time, she kept her eyes on his, to make sure he was comfortable with what was happening. "You’re in charge. Whatever you want, whenever you tell me to stop or that I’ve gone too far…" Her lips finally worked their way all the way down and she laid the softest of kisses on him before waiting to see what he’d say.

Leo was surprised at how determined she was to turn, it was beautiful. He watched her with awe and admiration as she moved down, desperate to please him and get her lover back. He could feel himself hardening at her touch. Leo didn't hold the stern demeanor of a dominant, but was relaxed and calm. "You could never go too far, my queen." He held her face and ran his thumb across her bottom lip before guiding her forward and letting her do the rest.

Misha smiled back at him. It was good to see him so happy again. “Sounds perfect. What kind of house would you want?” She knew he was used to a certain standard of living, and she was perfectly okay with that. She just wanted somewhere they could mark as theirs. Someplace that felt like home. “We should make sure the place has either a fire pit or a fire place.” Since she first told him she loves him by the fire, it seemed right for their new home to have one. She laughed, “Oh, I’m sure they’re off fucking somewhere. I’m sure they would be whether it was Valentine’s day or not.” She smiled and rested a hand on his cheek. “Don’t worry. You can get to it when you’re ready. I still love you even without the sex.” She bit her lip as his hands began to wander her body. “That being said…if I could have you right here and right now, I would.” There were so many things she’d love to do to him right now if she could, but she didn’t want to push him too far too soon. It was impressive enough that he was comfortable taking a shower with her, not to mention kissing her heatedly in the shower after what happened. She didn’t want to make him uncomfortable, so she fought off her urges, instead trying to put her mind on something else. “And when do you think that will happen? When do you want to turn me?”

"I'm not really sure, to be honest. I'm so used to large, but I've never had the need for it - it's just us, we don't need a massive mansion. It was always for looks, anyway." He shrugged Leo grinned widely. "Both. Multiple fireplaces, and a nice firepit outside." He loved that she was able to move on from that fear and take control of it. "Oh gee, thanks." He teased before groaning. He could feel himself twitch. "That's not fair. Although..." He leaned against the wall and held her against him, his hand rounding her ass to caress between her legs "...it may be a nice slow start...?" He kissed the top of her head. "Within the next few months. I want to make it through the next moon, though, just for my own sanity. I want to go out, hunt, and feed, and make my mark on this town before you turn for many reasons, some I can't explain. I also don't want you turning too close to a moon, this way, we'll have all month to prepare for it, and give you time to understand what being a vampire is. The next moon is the 5th. We have plenty of time to get ready and do everything we need to. I want you to make your daylight ring. I also want you to watch me hunt while you're still human so you know what it's like. I know you're not a stranger to killing, but I just need you to see it first hand so you can decide if this is really what you want."

"And I want you. My French king. My light. I love you, and if you want a family, I want to give that to you one day." The more she thought about it, the more she liked the idea of having kids with him. She just wished she could go through the entire process with him. She wished she could be the one to carry their children, but she knew she wasn’t ready right now. She let him walk her into the water and nodded at his next question. "It will be odd to get used to, but they’re a part of my old life. I would gladly give them up if it means that I get to start a new life with you. If it means that I get to have forever with you. I know we haven’t been together very long for the steps we’re taking, but I firmly believe that you are the one for me. You’ve always been the one and you saw it before I did. I don’t want to give you up just because I can’t let go of my powers. We’ll find a way to work through it." She smiled at the idea of the green houses and leaned up to kiss him. "We’d better figure out our new house situation quickly then," she smiled as he deepened the kiss. She was so happy that he was finally beginning to relax and get back to his old self. He was getting more confident in the way he touched her and kissed her again. Even if he never recovered from what happened and was always cautious, she still would love him and stay with him, but she was glad to see that he was recovering all the same.

"We'll start looking around neighborhoods between lunch and dinner today, then." He smiled wide. Things were sliding back to exactly how he wanted things to be; to how it used to be, and better. The lack of impending war and death made life easy, and knowing their friends were here as well made it even better. "I wonder if Evey and Ezra are celebrating...or just fucking each other's brains out." He chuckled. "I promise we'll get back to that. Maybe if we have our box of toys send along first I'll be able to ease into it." He smirked, biting her lower lip. Leo grabbed the soap and began to lather her body, feeling her curves. "You know, you're the best sex I've ever had. Evelyn's great, but you're better, because there's love. I know she'd say the same about me and Ezra. Not to mention, you have an incredible ass. And I'm not an ass man, I'm a breast man. But your ass and legs are incredible. And your tits are fantastic, too. And your lips." He kissed her again, still rubbing her body. When he started talking about family, and maybe having one of their own, she was caught. It was something she’d never anticipated having. She’d been dead set against raising a child in a war zone. The last thing she’d wanted was to raise a soldier or worse, raise someone who wouldn’t be able to protect themself if they ever got caught up in the war. Now, after having left the coven and the island, and with no plans to ever go back…it was all possible again. She didn’t know what to thing. A strange feeling came over her. A part of her wanted a family with him. She wanted to give birth to the baby and nurse it and raise it, but she was also scared of waiting that much longer to turn. A lot could happen in that time and having a baby would come with it’s own set of complications. She didn’t know if she was willing to risk putting her life on the line again for that. There was so much to think about and it was actually overwhelming in itself to suddenly realize that she had this option now. “Leo…I…I don’t know what to say. I don’t know what I want. I never expected… I… I never thought I’d have kids. And If I did, I thought it would be the right way, but I…I’m scared of waiting too much longer to turn. I’m scared of something going wrong…” She leaned her head on his chest as he massaged her scalp and worked the shampoo into her hair. “What do you want? And don’t say whatever I want…what do you want?”

"I want you, above all. I just want my Indian queen, and I'm happy. Like I said, you turning doesn't stop us from having kids that have beautiful raven black hair, honey eyes, and milky cocoa skin. It just stops you from getting pregnant, carrying our child, or children, and giving birth. All we need is a healthy surrogate, and we can do everything in vitro. We have eternity to think about this. All I know is I loved seeing how my family and her mother's merged in my daughter....but I didn't love her mom. I love you. I don't think they'd get your magic, but they would be a dhamphir, so they'd be robust and strong from the get go." He walked her back a step into the water to rinse the shampoo out. "That's another thing...are you one-hundred percent okay with the fact you're going to lose your powers? I have some ideas on how to help you cope...once we buy out home, or the land if we're building, you're going to landscape it and the new stables. And I'll build you a big greenhouse. And, here's the special one. I'll research the most beautiful native plants where each of our homes are, and you'll grow them and keep them in the greenhouse, and we'll bring them to be planted around the world...so a little piece of your magic is always with us." Leo held her face and kissed her sweetly at first, but deepened it, letting himself relax into it for a moment.

Misha stood under the hot water with her eyes closed, and let it run down her body. The way Leo talked, it sounded like he might be joining her, but then she didn’t know if she could really expect that or not. They hadn’t showered together since the full moon given that the shower is where the incident had occurred. She wished she knew how to help him through this. She felt like all her reassurance wasn’t doing anything to help him cope, and more than anything, she just wanted him to be able to put this behind him. She didn’t like feeling like being with her scared him. She was pulled out of her thoughts by his voice. “Yeah, come in.” She didn’t know what to expect from him, but as soon as she felt him wrap her in his arms, her body relaxed into him. She’d missed feeling this close to him. She hummed happily as he kissed her neck. She understood how big of a step forward this was for him and she appreciated it immensely. “Hmm?” she opened her eyes and turned to hold him in her arms as he spoke. Her heart swelled as he started talking and for a moment, she couldn’t find her voice. All she could do was nod. “Yes. Yes, I would love to go house hunting with you. I would love to own a house with you. I-” She leaned up and kissed him. “I love you, so much, and I can’t think of a better way to start our new life together…I want everything with you Leo. You know that, right?”

"I know we're moving pretty fast for a couple that's only been together for about 4 months, but the fact we've lived together the whole time practically doubles it, and all of the huge moments we've had, from nearly dying, to a growing family, we might as well have been together a year." He kissed her sweetly. "Speaking about families, I know you're dead set on turning, and I know I've been avoiding that subject. I just want you to know that yes, I still want forever with you, and I will turn you. I just want to talk to you about a family first. If you never want kids, I'm fine with that. Your eggs will freeze naturally when you turn, and we can get a surrogate and do everything in vitro, so we don't have to wait on that before turning you, but you won't ever actually give birth once you're a vampire. I just want you to know that anything you choose, even if it's just raising puppies, I'll cherish whatever families we decide to create." Leo's hands moved down her body to hold her close. "I love you. Now and forever." Leo grabbed the shampoo and poured some in his hands to scrub her hair, giving her a scalp massage.

"A ball? How fancy," she laughed, "I’ll see what slutty costumes I can find for the day, but I wouldn’t mind going costume shopping with you." It was still odd to her to think that she was free to just up and go to Italy to go mask shopping. There were no strings attached, no ties to a coven. She didn’t have to be ready to mobilize at any given moment. It was nice. She might actually be able to find a job again. She smiled at his nuzzle and gave him another kiss before starting in on her last piece of French toast. "Alright. Should I go ahead and jump in the shower or do you want me to wait for you?"

"Well, i was going to give you a massage before, but, you can go ahead and do any sort of showering you'd rather do alone. I'll be right back." He kissed her and took the tray in one hand before heading down stairs. He put everything in the sink to wash later, and pulled the two heart shaped cake pans out of the oven to cool off. Once upstairs, Leo slipped the sleep pants off and walked into the bathroom. "Can I come in?" He didn't want to interrupt her if she was in the middle of shaving or doing something private. Leo opened the shower door and stepped in beside her, and wrapped his body around her. The last time they showered together spelled disaster, and it didn't make things easy. He pulled her hair back and kissed her neck where he had bit her. Despite feeding her his blood, two small scars remained. They were barely visible, but he couldn't not see them. "So, There was something I wanted to talk to you about. This apartment has been mine since I came to New Orleans centuries ago, but we're starting a new life together. I want to go house hunting with you. We're keeping this one, and I'm selling everything from the Moon Island mansion that doesn't come with us, and putting that up for sale, too. I want a house that's our home. So, we'll pick everything out together, down to the furnature. Hell, we can even design and have a house built for us if we don't find one we like. And, we don't have to go for a big mansion or plantation house. If you want smaller, we can do smaller."

She smiled when she heard him say those three words again. She’d missed hearing them. She guessed now she knew what he felt like in the beginning when he told her and she couldn’t say it back yet. She leaned up to give him one more kissing then settled into him, licking his fingers as she took the piece of sausage. “Hmm? And what’s the dress code?” she chuckled, “I have heard about that particular aspect of the day I didn’t know you were so possessive over my tits,” she teased him. But of course she knew, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. It meant that he was still in this. Even if he was shying away from so much, he was still in this with her.

"For Mardi Gras? Well, I expect to be invited to one of the balls, so a gown will be needed, but honestly, it's like Halloween in March. Booze, and slutty dressed girls." He chuckled. "So, we can go costume shopping, if you want, too, but we need some nice masks. We can check out the ones I have saved in storage here, or go shopping for a new one here or in Italy." Leo nuzzled her. He was determined to make this day wonderful for her. "Alright, finish up. I have to run downstairs real quick, but I'll be right back."

"Hey," she smiled as he came in and kissed her. "Mmm, I love you." She’d been saying it more recently. Partially because she did mean it with her whole heart, and partially because she thought he needed the extra reminders now more than ever. She patted the spot on the bed next to her. "Thank you. Sounds perfect, come sit with me?" She dug into her french toast and sausage and looked over at him. "You know, this’ll be my first Mardi Gras. You’ll have to make sure I don’t make a fool of myself like a tourist," she chuckled.

"I love you, too." He smiled. Leo had shied away from sharing that phrase with her, terrified of the thought that she could blindly follow him no matter what atrocities he commits against her, but Leo knows he's not an abuser, and Misha ' s a strong enough woman to not take anything like that. Leo had to just remember he's never laid a finger on her in anger or superiority. Leo nodded and moved around the bed to sit with her, propping up their pillows and putting his arm around her, feeding her a piece of sausage. "You'll look fantastic, and the only person giving you beads for showing your tits will be me."

Misha slowly awoke to the warmth of sunlight filtering through the shades. She smiled and rolled over to look at Leo sleeping peacefully beside her only to realize that there was no Leo sleeping peacefully beside her. The bed was empty. She bolted up in bed, panic coursing through her veins. He wouldn’t leave. He promised not to do that again he- And then she saw the note and began to make herself relax again. She shouldn’t get so worked up. He promised that he’d never leave her again like that. He wouldn’t. Especially not on Valentines Day. While she waited for him to get back, she checked the bedside drawer to make sure her gift for him was wrapped and in place, and then settled back into bed.

Leo walked into the room and smiled at her. "I see you're up." he walked over to the bed and set the tray down for her. "Happy Valentines day." Leo leaned in and gave her a kiss on the lips. "After breakfast, I'll give you a nice massage, we'll shower and get dressed. We'll stroll through town a bit before heading to the botanical garden for a light picnic lunch. People are starting to sell their Mardi Gras items, so I figured we could get in on it and shop around."

Leo woke up extremely early and got out of bed carefully as to not wake Misha up. He slipped on a pair of sleep pants and wrote a quick note letting her know that if she woke up, he would be downstairs and to stay in bed and enjoy the morning. Leo was hoping he would wake her up once everything was ready, though, luckily, he had his supernatural speed on his side. He scattered rose pedals around the house in thick trails, and made his way back to the kitchen to cook her favorite breakfast and set it up on a tray with a few left over roses in a small vase. He had a laidback day planned for them, getting back into the swing of things.

Don’t be sorry. I understand that you’re shaken up and you’re scared. You have every right to be. I don’t want to push you into anything you aren’t ready for. I just miss being close to you. The blood sharing, the sex, I guess the spontaneity of it all. I understand you’re trying to be cautious, but that won’t happen again. I know you won’t hurt me. Of course I'm up to it...I'm sorry I haven't really been myself lately...I'm still a little shaken. You know all I want to do is make love to you, and cuddle you and br all over you since you almost died...but this time...it's have to be careful. I can't let myself go. But, I promise you, we'll make love under the stars on Valentine's day, and I'll get back to myself for you. You don't deserve anything less.
