Well the simplest way to think about this is that Hikari had been going around the castle for the entire day, trying to see where you are. So, she had been thinking about you.

You see, Hikari and I went out on a mission and it was taking longer then either of us had thought. So as it began to turn into evening and nighttime we decided to just make camp for the evening and of course we didn’t have blankets or anything, s-so *blushes slightly* I gave her my coat to keep warm with (I also used my magic to make a makeshift shelter but details) and she decided to wear it all the way through until the next day.
So...yes she is in fact *mumbles softly but smiles fondly* wearing my coat.
... I didn’t even realize this.
I really didn’t. But... the lovely lady has a point.
And... Your explanation doesn’t really help it. Because if you had no blankets or anything, then you.... cuddled for warmth, right?
