Photoshop Task
Digital Montage
To create this image i took multiple images of Dynell sat in different positions on the settee. Then opened them in Photoshop and i picked one image that I would use to add the other images of Dynell on to. I then used the pen tool to cut him out and then dragged it over on to background image. Another way you can do it is put the image on to your background layer and then use the eraser tool to erase the background out (this is why you use a tripod so the photos line up with background in each image.) Really pleased with how it looks but it was a practice so next time i will use a better background.
For this task i done cross processing. the top image is my original image taken outside i then opened it in Photoshop and edited the curves and layers to boost contrast and lighten the image. I then changed the the curves again but this time selected the rgb drop down and selected red then adjusted this on the graph so make the image a warm red/orange tone, then again for blue ans green this is cross processing.
This image was taken in broad marsh near the bus station, i like i framed this i positioned it so that the couple are sat in left hand side of the picture they were deep in conversation and didn't notice me. i used a shallow depth so the background is out of focus think it works better when the background is busy and there are other people in the shot. i also changed it to black and white and edited the curves and levels to boost the contrast.
For this task I went out and had to take images of people in action around the city centre. I went down to Broad Marsh bus station for this image it was a child and father maybe, sitting eating a pastie and drinking a cup of tea. I used a shallow depth of field to focus in on my subjects and framed them so they about filled the frame. I held the camera horizontal and took the shot as they both had a bite in their mouth and started chewing. The baby boy is more in focus than the father so i could of tried getting them both in perfect focus for a better finish. I like the image of how its composed I changed the image to black and white in Photoshop and done some basic edits using levels and curves i think the black and white works best as the bright green isn't distracting the eye.
