wanted to first say i am still doing requests i just opened my show so i am a bit busy so there will be a delay for the weekend but that isn’t the reason i am reaching out right not.
recently i received a comment that rubbed me the wrong way so i want to make something clear.
in no way, shape or form do i incorporate ai into my writing. period. i am against the use of ai as a whole no matter if it is photos or writing.
i have been writing ever since i was a child. i only started posting my writing ten years ago starting on wattpad and then since moving here on tumblr five years ago. in that time i have gone through many different version of my writing style because of it.
from english classes in high school to linguistics and public speaking classes in college, i have learned so much and it is really discouraging to my journey as a writer for someone to say that what i take the time to do is “lowk ai”.
with how much ai is taking over and how little the male writer scene is, i would never go out of my to tarnish that. if i could show a speed threw of my writing process like artist do on clip studio paint i would but google docs doesn’t offer that option so all i have to show for it is my own honesty and pride.

It isn't really a question.
You already know the answer. You saw the package of ground beef thawing in the sink earlier and the box of spaghetti sitting on the counter waiting its turn. The question is mostly an excuse to fill the silence.
To give Leon something else to focus on.
The syringe rests in your hand while an alcohol wipe sits forgotten on the bathroom counter. Leon has been doing his own shots for years now. Long before you came into the picture. Long before he'd ever trusted someone enough to stand this close while he rolled up his shirt.
Still, tonight the needle is in your hand instead of his and despite all his experience, you can see the tension sitting in his shoulders.
"Spaghetti and meatballs," Leon answers.
You hum.
"Good choice."
You pinch lightly at the skin of his hip, more testing than anything. Leon immediately flinches.
"There he is."
"There who is?" he asks.
"The guy pretending this doesn't bother him."

Done.
Leon blinks.
"...Wait."
You grin.
"All done."
"Seriously?"
"Seriously."
You lean forward and press a kiss to his lips.
Quick.
Soft.
Rewarding him for being brave — not that you'll ever say that out loud.
"You make it sound like I survived a battlefield." Leon huffs.
"You survived me."
"Fair."
"Now," you announce, stepping away dramatically, "for the next part."
Leon frowns.
"The next part?"
But you're already gone.
Leon stands alone in the bathroom for a moment.
The room suddenly feels quiet.
He lowers his shirt and smooths it down automatically.
An old habit.
One he doesn't think about anymore.
The kind that sticks around long after you stop needing it.
The mirror catches his reflection.
The bandage.
The rolled-up shirt.
The faint pink still lingering in his cheeks.
For a moment, he remembers being younger sitting in wait at every appointment.
Every waiting room. Every nervous glance. Every time he'd wished things could just be easy.
Then your voice calls from the bedroom.
"Leon!"
His thoughts disappear instantly.
"Coming."
When he walks in, he stops short.
Clothes cover nearly the entire bed.
Hoodies.
Sweatshirts.
Flannels.
T-shirts.
Even a couple pairs of sweatpants.
Leon immediately recognizes half of them.
Most of them belong to you.
"What is all this?" he asks.
You shift awkwardly, suddenly fascinated by the floor.
"Take your pick."
His eyes land on his favorite hoodie.
Your favorite hoodie too, apparently.
The one you've worn so often it's practically become part of your identity.
"What?"
You shrug.
"I just..."
The words seem harder to find than expected.
"I know you've been dealing with a lot lately."
Leon quiets.
You continue.
"And I know you don't always talk about it."
The room feels smaller somehow.
Softer.
"I just wanted you to have some things that make you feel comfortable."
Your voice drops lower.
"That's all."
Leon stares.
Then stares some more.
Because nobody has ever done something like this for him before.
Not quite like this.
Not because they wanted something, or because they felt obligated, or because they thought they should.
Just because they cared.
His throat tightens.
So he does the only thing he can think of.
He grabs the hoodie.
Pulls it over his head.
And immediately breathes in the scent of your cologne.
The scent of home.
The scent of you.
His eyes narrow.
You dive for a nearby drawer.
Too late.
Leon catches the bottle of cologne disappearing inside.
"Did you spray these?"
"No."
"You absolutely sprayed these."
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"You are a terrible liar."
You fumble with the drawer.
The drawer wins.
Leon starts laughing.
The kind of laugh that sneaks up on him.
The kind he only seems to have around you.
Then he crosses the room.
Wraps his hands around your hips.
And pulls you close.
The kiss is slow, unhurried.
His forehead settles against yours when it ends.
"Thank you."
The words come out quieter than intended.
More sincere too.
You smile.
That soft smile reserved only for him.
"Anything for you, baby."
For a second neither of you move.
Neither of you want to.
Then your stomach growls.
Loudly.
Leon immediately starts laughing again.
"There it is."
"Don't."
"The beast awakens."
"I'm serious."
"Come on," Leon says, taking your hand and tugging you toward the door. "Let's go make that fancy dinner."
won't go too much into detail because of private life but I am feeling WAY better than when I was admitted. i did want to take a few days to myself but I honestly miss you guys and writing so I will try my hand at a keyboard tonight and hopefully have somethings to post by tomorrow!
