tahir-syed:
Tahir looked over his bandage just thinking that it would do for now. He needed a new burner to contact Wilder, he no longer trusted his old one since this attack happened. His eyes focused on Leo once again when she started to talk. He let out a light chuckle and shook his head. “Hazards of my job,” he said before biting his lip. “Thank you, for all of this though, if you didn’t find me I don’t know what would’ve happened.”
Leo’s eyebrows rose a fraction but she didn’t press for more information, figuring she wouldn’t get any anyway. “I’d do it for anyone,” she said, brushing off the thank you even if it wasn’t the truth in the slightest. She’d call an ambulance if someone needed it if she found someone hurt, sure, but she wouldn’t bring them back to her home. “Can I get you anything else?”
