maggie sawyer told alex danvers that “we should be who we are and we should kiss the girls we want to kiss” 🏳️🌈💓💓
when you’re a cynical Gay but you start daydreaming about some dumb romantic shit out of nowhere
bi girls are so good and sweet. have you ever met a bi girl? you should talk to one sometime. they are?? so strong?? how do they put up with so much biphobia on a daily basis?? the world may never know. they’ve seen it all. sit down with a cup of tea and have a nice long conversation with them. they will make you feel better about life. I love bi girls
Happy National Coming Out Day

If you think you’re probably gay and you’re scared of what that will mean for you, I just want you to know that we are all rooting for you so hard!
This whole process of questioning and coming out to yourself and sorting through what it means for your life is often a complicated thing. It’s okay if it takes awhile. It’s okay to have conflicting feelings, whatever you feel is okay. You don’t have to be a Pride poster child if that’s not where you are right now in your process, you don’t have to be ashamed of still being unsure. At any age.
And I want you to know that however long it takes you to get there, there is something pure and clean and beautiful and good waiting for you on the other side. Gayness is wholesome and warm and healthy and joyous and you will have a chance to feel that, it will be there whenever you’re ready for it.
And there is a whole community who already wants the best for you, who wants to protect you, who sends you love and good wishes while you work things through. Be kind and gentle with yourself. You can find a way to be gay and okay.
Happy Pride. Maybe someday we’ll see you there.
Full offense, but butchness has absolutely nothing to do with men. At all. Butches aren’t defined by any comparison to men, nor are they defined by any comparison to society’s cishet ideas of “masculinity”.
It’s not about the separation of (our society’s cishet conceptions of) “masculinity” vs. “femininity”. It’s not about “masculine women”. It’s not about “women who want to ‘be’ men”. It’s not about men.
It’s about women’s reclamation of “womanhood” and “what it means to be a woman” from a cishet dominated society’s ideals and conceptions of those very things. Its about non-conforming for reasons such as comfort, happiness, communication, and freedom of personal expression.
It is about women, and their love for other women. Period.
