Alright I gots to add my 2 pence as a black lgbt person who’s involved in the mcu fandom, it’s gonna be short and quick.
Some of yall need to sit down and properly thing about what Mackie is actually trying to say with this interview, cancelling him and calling him racial slurs because he said that people tend to fetishise male friendships in the media is gross and immature.
Some of you yt gays are acting like it’s Mackie fault that Marvel/Disney has little to no lgbt+ rep and the fact that he worded it weirdly doesn’t help but still, if interviewers wanna know about ships and things like that they shouldn’t be asking actors/actresses and putting them in potentially uncomfortable situation where they could get fired for saying what fans wanna hear.
